Rex woke up to the light of dawn coming through his window and a strong feeling of happiness and satisfaction, knowing that he finally starts to get back to his old life, which is fucking a lot of taken won and girls.
But for now, it’s only Mara... and he still wanted more until his libido was really gone, but we know that’s not fucking possible.

This exceeded his expectations. A thousand points could afford many high-level wishes or one exceptionally powerful one.
The system had reviewed the costs the previous day. It allocated fifty points for basic combat skills, one hundred fifty for interdiate mastery, and five hundred for the expert level.
Those were just examples, though. The system had made it sound like he could wish for anything as long as it wasn’t too much.

Telekinesis was useful and strong and could be explained away as a rare skill if anyone asked about it. He wouldn’t have to fumble through learning how to use it because he would already know how to do it.
He would just know how, like he had been born with the skill.

Pain exploded through Rex’s skull.

It wasn’t really physical pain, but it was more like his brain was being rewired at a very basic level. New paths were opening up, and new ideas were flooding into his mind.
He could feel the skill settling in, becoming as natural as breathing.
He had a complete idea of what he knew.
He understood how to perceive the world around him.
He was adept at visualizing the forces required to manipulate the objects around him.
He learned to manipulate matter at both large and small scales.
It was too much, exciting, and scary at the sa ti.
Then, just as quickly as it started, it stopped.
Rex lay on his cot, gasping for breath and sweating... but he could feel it now.
The new sense was like the sixth sense that spread out of his mind. He could feel everything in his room without looking.
The bed fra is wooden. A bowl of water sits nearby. His clothes hang on a hook. He concentrated on the basin, and it rose smoothly into the air.
No stress. No work. It did what he wanted without question, just like his arm did what he told it to do.
Rex smiled and carefully set the basin down. He then attempted sothing more challenging.
He anticipated that the water within the basin would erge as a flawless sphere. The water reacted by making a ball that floated at eye level.
Rex changed its shape, breaking it into smaller spheres and spinning them in complicated ways.
The control system was fully refined and perfected.
He whispered, "This is fucking amazing...!"

The system was correct. He had to be careful about how he revealed this, but he also needed to show that he was good enough to impress the Starlight party and make them think he was worth more.
Over the next hour, Rex privately tested his new skill by lifting increasingly heavier objects to explore the limits of his abilities.
One of the items he lifted was the bed fra, with the entire crib included. He was able to manipulate multiple objects at once, arranging them into intricate patterns.
He couldn’t find an upper limit. The system had said that there was no weight limit within the laws of physics.
As far as Rex could tell, that ant that if it existed in the real world, he could move it.
Rex knew exactly what he could do and how to do it without being too obvious by the ti he heard people moving around upstairs.
He got dressed and went down to the common room, where people who were up early were starting to show up. Mara was already there making breakfast, and when she saw him, her whole face lit up in a way that was almost scary.
She quickly changed her face back to neutral, but Rex saw the change. It was indeed full devotion. It was exactly as the system had predicted.
"Good morning," she said, making sure her voice sounded normal.
Rex said "Morning" in a casual way and then went to help get ready.
They worked together, and Rex saw that Mara moved around him in a different way now. She made up reasons to touch him, and her touches lasted just a little longer than they needed to.
When they both reached for the sa thing, her fingers would wrap around his for a mont before pulling away.
All very subtle. If anyone saw them, they could all be easily written off as accidents.
But Rex knew better. She was his now, completely and totally.
"Did you sleep well last night?" Mara asked quietly when they were alone in the kitchen for a mont.
"Hell yeah, I slept like a baby who just got breastfed," Rex said with a look that ant sothing. "How about you?"
Her cheeks turned red. "I had a great sleep... and it’s the best sleep I’ve had in years!"
"Good to hear it," Rex smirks.
Garrett ca down and broke the mont. He looked tired, probably because he had been getting ready to go fishing late at night again.
He had no idea that his wife had spent hours in another man’s bed.
"Good morning, you two," Garrett said with a smile while sniffing the sll of breakfast. "Hmmmm~! Ahhh~! That slls great, Mara."
"Thanks," she said in a warm, wifely voice.
And it was perfect for her to do.
