Li Jun was speechless. How can soone so upright and straight-laced be this shaless? He regretted it. He regretted ever helping him that night. It only attracted trouble.

"Yu Wen, if you keep talking like that, I will kick you out of this car. Do you hear ?" he said, his voice clearly conveying how serious he was, but in Yu Wen’s ears it sounded rather coquettish, like an angry kitten. Having learnt from experience, he didn’t dare say anything just in case Li Jun followed through with his threat.

Li Jun rubbed his temples, his eyes closed. He was hoping that by the ti he opened them, the person next to him would have vanished into thin air. Sadly, he was bound to be disappointed.

Yu Wen wanted to keep quiet, but the longer they were in the cabin, the more intense the sultry, fruity scent. Even the berry blast candy he gave Li Jun couldn’t cover up the perfu lingering on his body. He felt irritable just slling it. That woman was like a dog, peeing on things to mark her territory.

He opened his mouth to say sothing when the hover car ca to a stop at the club. Li Jun finally acknowledged him, saying, "The driver can take you ho, or you can find your own way back." After saying that, he got up to leave, only for Yu Wen to grip his arm.

Li Jun’s brows twitched, looking at the hand holding him. Yu Wen said, "I can’t go ho now. Can I stay over for a little bit?"

"What? Did you leave a woman at your place and you are afraid to go back?" he asked with a light chuckle. What could be in Yu Wen’s house that he was so afraid of? The only thing he could think of was how Yu Xuan’s father used to hide in the office, afraid of going ho after pissing his wife off.

Yu Wen said, "You must be joking. I am afraid of my mum. When I get ho, she will be asking so many questions. I just want to wait for her to fall asleep first." He wasn’t lying. His mother was already ssaging him, asking how far along with the mission and whether they had danced together. If he went ho now, he wouldn’t get any peace.

Seeing how sincere he was, Li Jun said, "Fine, but only for an hour." Hearing this, Yu Wen got out of the car so fast like he was afraid Li Jun would change his mind. They entered the club together, and it was empty for a Friday night.

Yu Wen knew that Li Jun had been transferring so of his staff, but he didn’t think he would shut it down completely on a day that should have been making him the most money. "Isn’t it a loss closing the place on a Friday?" he asked, but he wasn’t expecting a response.

Li Jun said, "They are doing inventory and deep cleaning for an inspection," lying without batting an eye. Yu Wen found no flaw in his excuse. That’s because it slled like industrial cleaning products.

They entered the elevator, and Li Jun pressed the button for the top floor. Yu Wen knew that this was where Li Jun’s room was. He turned to look at him, and Li Jun t his gaze. Li Jun asked, "What? You think I am going to sleep with you just because I am taking you to my suite?"

The general pursed his lips, refusing to answer that question. Li Jun snorted and said, "You wish. It will only happen once. There will be no second ti." Yu Wen smiled slightly, turning his gaze away. He wasn’t even thinking that, yet Li Jun felt like ntioning it. It could only an that he was thinking about it. The slight smile turned into stifled laughter.

Li Jun looked at his shaking shoulders, and for a mont, he didn’t know what the hell was going on. When did he ever see this man laugh like that? It could only an he was drunk. Li Jun thought that if just a little alcohol made him like this, then what would happen if he drank a lot more?

His lips curled into a smirk, thinking of his evil plan. Not wanting to expose himself, he put on a straight face and kicked Yu Wen’s leg, saying, "Hey, do you want to drink with ?"

Yu Wen cleared his throat and said, "Sure," his expression having gotten back to normal. Just then, the elevator doors opened. Yan Jia was standing in front of them with half her face in the dark. Her expression made her look like a resentful ghost waiting for her next victim.

Li Jun yelped in fright. It was like seeing his mother waiting for him in the dark after he stayed past curfew. The only difference was that his mother’s slipper would co flying in his direction. "Sister, why are you standing in the dark like that? You scared half to death," he said as he walked past her.

Yan Jia glared at Yu Wen while saying, "I heard his highness brought a guest. Should I prepare a separate room for him, or should I kick him out?" The threat in her tone was hard to miss.

Li Jun said, "No need, he is only staying an hour max. You can go to sleep. I won’t need anything for the night."

She wasn’t happy leaving these two together at all. That Yu Wen seed to take advantage of the prince each ti he was here. How could she not want to protect her family’s little cabbage from being gnawed at by this pig?

"Your highness, wouldn’t it be better to open the private room on the second level to entertain the guest. I can pour out the wine for you two," she said, determined to be a third wheel.

Li Jun grabbed Yu Wen’s arm and pulled him into the suite before saying, "You worry too much. He will only stay for an hour, okay?"

Yan Jia bit her lip, unconvinced. Seeing this, Li Jun spun her around and led her to the elevator while saying, "I swear he will leave soon. We just need to discuss sothing. Why are you being so stubborn? It’s not like I will get pregnant."
