While Li Jun was trying to convince Yan Jia that she had nothing to worry about, Li Yu was bawling her eyes out, lying on her mother’s lap. As soon as the banquet ended, she went to her mother’s chambers to complain.

At first, she wanted to maintain her composure and voice her grievances calmly. But the mont she opened her mouth, her voice broke, and she started crying. Li Yu cried even harder, snort and tears dripping down her face. Xiu Ying comforted her, saying, "Shh shh shh, mother will take care of it, okay? I will make sure Li Jun pays for what he did. Just be patient."

Hearing this, Li Yu sat upright. Sniffling, she said, "Really?" Xiu Ying nodded her head while taking out a handkerchief to wipe her nose. Seeing how she was treating Li Yu, one would think she was the most doting mother alive.

"When? I want him to be punished now. Mother, he threatened to cut my hand off," she said, and Xiu Ying’s eyes darkened. Li Jun had indeed cut off her hand in the plotline. He cut her hand off because she touched his man. In this tiline, he had actually threatened to cut her off again. That alone triggered her.

Li Jun said, "That’s a good boy," with a teasing tone while pouring a drink out for him. Yu Wen wasn’t at all offended. He smiled slightly, following his every move. He found that when he was with him, he seed different.

He couldn’t exactly tell where he was different, but he found himself chasing the sa feeling. This was why he always wanted to find him. Perhaps if they didn’t have a terrible past, they would have been close.

This was just the beginning of the chaos. Four drinks in, Li Jun suddenly suggested they play a ga. How he even brought it up was a mystery. Whoever lost got to take off a piece of clothing. Yu Wen, who couldn’t stand the sll of that woman on him, agreed imdiately.
