Hearing the excitent in Li Jun’s voice, Yu Xuan relaxed a little bit. This morning, he looked around for his phone in a frenzy. He was afraid that he hadn’t warned Li Jun and that Yu Wen might have found him. Feeling guilty, he fumbled with the screen, only to realize that his phone was low on battery.

He placed it on the charger and waited for it to get a single percentage so it would turn on. As soon as it was done loading, he called Li Jun in a hurry. He thought for sure Li Jun must know about Yu Wen, but hearing his voice now, it seed he was wrong.

"You... are you okay?" he asked.

Li Jun looked at the Knoxian Warhead he was riding and said, "Yeah, I am fine. I just got into it with a psychic beast. Let send you a picture."

Yu Xuan was confused. What psychic beast? Was it a code word for sothing? Soon Li Jun sent him a picture, and when he opened it, he was flabbergasted. He instantly knew what Li Jun had been up to, but it was dangerous.

"Oh fuck no? Since when have you beco an adrenaline junky?" he exclaid, zooming in on that beast that looked like it was about to charge at him through the screen. Li Jun wasn’t in the picture. It was only his long fingers rubbing the beast’s head.

"I wanted to ta one. If I can ta this legendary beast, then I can ta any beast," Li Jun joked.

Hearing this, Yu Xuan thought, "You have already tad the king of all beasts." He thought he was speaking in his mind, but he didn’t realize he had said it aloud.

Intrigued, he asked, "What king of all beasts?"

Yu Xuan pretended to act dumb, saying, "I ant your uncle’s ch." That was a terrible lie. The beast he was talking about was Yu Wen, but he couldn’t say that.

Li Jun could sense the unease in Yu Xuan’s voice. He wanted to ask, but if he pushed too hard, the turtle might retreat into its shell, and he wouldn’t be able to get truthful answers. "Where are you right now?" Yu Xuan asked. Li Jun looked into the great distance, admiring the splendid view.

"It’s best I show you." He took several pictures and sent them to Yu Xuan. When Yu Xuan saw the majestic view of the gorge and valleys, he was stunned.

"Looks good, right? Next ti you should co with ," he said with a smile.

Yu Xuan cleared his throat and said, "That would be aweso... Hey umm.. have t any suspicious people over there? Is there anyone bothering you?"

Li Jun knew this was the reason Yu Xuan called, so he asked, "What’s really going on?"

Yu Xuan bit his lip and tried to find the right words. He finally said, "That bastard Yu Wen ca looking for trouble yesterday."

Li Jun, "..."

What did he an by looking for trouble? What the fuck was going on? "Looking for you. You an he tracked you down and ca to see you in person?"

Yu Xuan nodded his head, but when he realized Li Jun couldn’t see him, he stamred, "Ye-yes. He threatened to tell my mother the shit I have been up to and forced to co with him. And get this, he brought his mother with him."

The more Li Jun listened, the more ridiculous it sounded. First, he paid his family a visit, and now he went looking for Yu Xuan. Not only that, he threatened him and even brought his mother along. It was absurd.

"What did he want?" He asked, the smile on his face stiff. It seed Yu Wen wouldn’t quit until he t him face to face.

Yu Xuan, sounding so apologetic, said, "Your highness, I am sorry. He knows you are alive."

Li Jun, "..."

He knew Yu Xuan wouldn’t have sold him out unless he was tricked. He had dealt with Yu Wen for so many years and knew how cunning he could be. If he could fall for his tricks, then Yu Xuan stood no chance.

Yu Xuan continued to say, "He riled up, and in anger, I blurted it out. I am so sorry."

"What did he say that pissed you off that bad?" Li Jun asked, really curious. Other than his family, nothing else could touch Yu Xian’s bottom line.

Yu Xuan couldn’t possibly say that Yu Wen confessed his feelings for Li Jun. He didn’t even know where to begin when it ca to that. This ant he could only tell half-truths.

"He said he had wronged you all these years, and he wanted to apologize. Thinking of all the shit he did in the past, I just lost my cool. He doesn’t deserve your attention."

Li Jun was in a daze for a second. He knew it had sothing to do with the video in that temple. Yu Wen had always accused him of having sothing to do with his father’s death. Now that the truth had co out, Yu Wen probably felt so guilty that he wouldn’t rest until he got an audience with him. But Li Jun didn’t care.

"Litvin," soone called him, and Li Jun looked over. It was the driver.

"I have got to go, and don’t worry about him, he is not going to find , okay?" He said to Yu Xuan but Yu Xuan wasn’t convinced. If what Yu Wen said about how he felt about Li Jun was true, then there was a high chance that he wasn’t going to let it go.

"Okay, why can’t you travel with your sister Jia. At least that will put my mind at ease," he added, hoping Li Jun would consider it.

Thinking about how overprotective Yan Jia was, he wouldn’t be able to do anything fun. She will never let him do all this. She will nag him half to death. "Really, I am fine. Don’t worry about it, okay."

Yu Xuan said, "Alright," before hanging up the call. Li Jun clicked his tongue while ruffling his hair, a little frustrated.
