Avril asked, "Boyfriend trouble?" He knew he shouldn’t ask. It wasn’t his place, but he couldn’t let this opportunity slip through his fingers.
Li Jun smirked and said, "How did you know?" He was more certain than ever that Avril was interested in him. The best way to let him down without being too rude was to let him know he had a man.
Avril was visibly disappointed, but he didn’t give up that easily. He stroked the hide of the beast Li Jun was sitting on and said, "You must have wanted to get away from him badly if you had to run to this backwards country. A lot of guests co here as a gataway... a way to escape reality... I can help you with that."
Li Jun’s lips curled slightly, and he said, "He is very jealous and possessive. If he finds out I fooled around with others, he will raise hell. Trust , I am not worth you ruining your life."
Avril thought he was just using this jealous boyfriend as an excuse, but he could take a hint. A twisted lon is never sweet anyway. "Alright, I understand. Would you like to head back?"
Li Jun nodded and said lead the way. Avril led the way with his jeep, and he followed behind on his now tad beast.
As for the so-called jealous boyfriend, as soon as that call was connected he began tracking the call. Because Li Jun stayed on the call long enough, he was able to narrow it down to a location. Li Jun was on the planet Dravon, on the outskirts of the capital city.
Looking at the map of the area, there were a lot of ranches. He narrowed it down further using the picture Li Jun sent to Yu Xuan and their conversation. The ranch Li Jun was currently on was the Astral ranch.
Afraid that he might leave before he arrived there, Yu Wen set course for Dravon. It would take at least two days to reach his destination, and in those two days, he was nervously thinking of what he would say when he saw him. He was so nervous that Lu Anu couldn’t stand it anymore.
He was such a nervous wreck that it was making her anxious, too. One could never truly understand the sense of relief she had when they reached Dravon. At least now she wouldn’t have to watch him pace up and down, making her dizzy.
They reached the ranch midday. The place was packed with tourists who ca here to get their fix of adrenaline. Yu Wen didn’t co alone with his mother. This ti, he had his ard guards with him, in case there was trouble. Dravon wasn’t as peaceful as the imperial capital.
When he entered the reception area, the young lady welcod them with a smile before letting them know about their packages. Lu Anu was quite interested. She read up on what was included in each offer.
"Oh, Wen-er, we can do this one together," she said, pointing at the sa one Li Jun tried.
"Mother, we aren’t here for that," he said, and she replied,
"Oh, right. I almost forgot." She slid a rare physical StarCoin towards her and said, "Is there a guest nad Litvin here?" The lady glanced at the cold-faced man in front of her and his goons. She wasn’t supposed to divulge client details, but they looked like they would torture her if she didn’t.
She was about to pull up the guest details when Avril, who had overheard the question, walked over and said, "And you must be the jealous boyfriend." At the ti, he thought Litvin was just using that as an excuse, but it turned out that the jealous boyfriend was real, and he looked as terrifying as he imagined.
Lu Anu’s eyes widened before she burst out laughing. Yu Wen on the other hand, felt his cheeks and ears grow hot like he was in a Sauna. He knew he was being delusional, but he couldn’t help it. Could Li Jun have really called him his boyfriend?
Lu Anu said, "I don’t know about jealous, but he is the boyfriend indeed. Did Litvin tell you about him?" She played right into it so she could get even more information out of this chatty Cathy.
Avril sneered and said, "Whatever you did that made him run off, you should apologize. There are plenty of n out there who would love to treat him right. Just so you know, I gave him my number just in case he gets tired of your BS."
The jealous and possessive side of the general was instantly activated, making Avril tremble slightly in fear. Yu Wen was emanating a dark and sinister aura that was suffocating those around him. He took a step forward, and Lu Anu’s smile stiffened. She had seen this side of him, and she was very familiar with it. In this mont, he looked just like his father.
She stepped in front of Yu Wen, blocking his view and smoothing things over, saying, "That won’t be necessary. They just got into a lover’s spat, that’s why he ca looking for him." She was smiling, but her smile was just as terrifying as the man’s gaze.
Avril felt like this pair of mother and son wasn’t to be ssed with. "He isn’t here. He left yesterday," he finally said, hoping these two would leave and never co back. Lu Anu tilted her head slightly and said, "Are you sure?" Her tone venomous.
The young lady, who was terrified half to death, said, "Avril is right, he left yesterday," turning the floating screen for her to see the records.
Lu Anu said, "Alright then, thank you for your ti. Let’s go."
Yu Wen was still glaring at Avril like he had zeroed in on his next target. If he so much as breathed the wrong way, he would be finished. Lu Anu, seeing her son not moving, grabbed his hand and said, "Let it go." It was like pulling a street cat away from a fight with another cat. This wasn’t the first ti she had to pull him away, but back then, he was a toddler.
Even as a baby, Yu Wen didn’t like people touching his things, so when another kid touched his toy ch, this was the result. He was still the sa with the only difference being that Li Jun was now in place of the toy ch, and he wasn’t a toddler anymore.
Lu Anu scolded him, saying, "You should learn to control yourself. What is there to get mad about? He was just trying to get under your skin."
