"Didn't you understand what I ant?" The little girl said angrily, "Xiao Xiangzhu is the na of my pet."
"..." The woman.
If you'd said that at the start, I actually would have understood.
"Why did you na your pet that?" The woman asked, confused.
The little girl refused to be sidetracked and replied, "No matter what I na it, even if I called it Lion Tiger, it doesn't change the fact that your dog hit my pet."
The woman was displeased and said, "You're so young, how can you lie with your eyes wide open? It clearly jumped on its own; it hit my dog, and I didn't even hold you accountable. Instead, you're the one falsely accusing first!"
"If your dog didn't run over trying to bite first, how could this have happened?" The little girl retorted, unable to contain herself.
The woman put her hands on her hips and said arrogantly, "How do you know my dog ran over to bite you? My dog never bites people!
Besides, how can your wild chicken compare to my purebred Samoyed?"
At this mont, Lu Yao couldn't take it anymore and stepped in, "This lady, whatever the issue, we should..."
But before she could finish, the woman interrupted, "Who are you calling a lady? Which eye of yours sees as a lady?
I think you're the lady, your whole family are ladies!"
"Lu Yao, don't bother. People like this are unreasonable; call the police to sort it out." The little girl said in a fiery tone.
The woman crossed her arms and sneered, "Go ahead, call the police, I'm not afraid."
"What did you say?" The little girl furrowed her brow.
The woman mistakenly thought the girl was scared and said even more sarcastically, "I'm saying, call the police, did you hear clearly this ti?"
Lu Yao chuckled lightly, "Before you lie next ti, maybe do a little howork?"
"We'll find out soon enough if it's a lie or not," the woman sneered, "You're not calling the police, huh? I will!"
With that, the woman really took out her phone and called the police.
Lu Yao and the little girl couldn't help but exchange glances.
To be honest, the woman's confident attitude made them a bit uncertain.
Could it be... sothing really happened to Song Keren?
"I'll call Keren first to check." The little girl also took out her phone, intending to call Song Keren.
Lu Yao nodded in agreent; anyway, they were in the right on this matter, the call was just to understand the situation better.
However, just as the call was about to be made, they heard the sound of a car horn.
"Beep! Beep!"
The two horn sounds drew the attention of the three.
The little girl and Lu Yao recognized it as Zhao Guo'an's car.
Xiao Feng got out of the car, saw the off expressions on the little girl and Lu Yao's faces, and asked, "What are you two up to?"
Zhao Guo'an parked the car on the side and walked over with Zhen Jinghan, pointing to sothing behind the woman, "Why is there a dead dog lying over there?"
The woman imdiately flew into a rage, "Shut your mouth if you can't speak, trying to pick a fight?"
"Pick a fight?" Zhao Guo'an looked puzzled, "I'm telling the truth, the dog behind you really looks like it's about to die."
The woman was stunned by his words and turned around quickly, indeed seeing her Samoyed lying on the ground with a large pool of blood by its mouth.
"Cindy!" The woman exclaid and rushed over, "Cindy, what's wrong with you?"
As she caressed the Samoyed's body, she could feel it trembling, but very weakly. The sound gurgling from its throat was also very faint, completely inaudible from a distance.
No wonder none of the three had noticed the Samoyed's condition; after the young chicken fell, it bounced back up alive and kicking. Normally speaking, the dog should have been even less of an issue.
However, an unusual scene had occurred where the young chicken collided with the dog, the young chicken was fine while the dog lay as if on the verge of death.
"What on earth happened?" The woman abruptly stood up, aggressively questioning.
The little girl glanced at Lu Yao with a puzzled expression, shrugged, and said, "We don't know either."
Of course, that was a lie.
Though both the little girl and Lu Yao were shocked by the fact that Xiao Xiangzhu had killed the Samoyed,
this shock was confined to not realizing the Samoyed was about to die right away.
It's just like when soone who was just talking to you suddenly collapses foaming at the mouth; it's impossible for anyone to stay completely unfazed.
"Impossible, you two definitely did sothing!" The woman said fiercely.
The little girl was not to be outdone, "You can be unreasonable, but at least provide evidence when you speak. What makes you say your dog's death is related to us?"
"Had your wild chicken not dashed over suddenly, would my dog be dead?" The woman gritted her teeth.
"If you put it that way, why didn't you leash your dog while walking it?" The little girl retorted, "To put it bluntly, haven't you heard the saying 'walking a dog without a leash is like having the dog walk itself?'"
"How dare you call a dog!" The woman was so angry her face flushed red.
Taking advantage of the ti the little girl and the woman were arguing, Lu Yao pulled Xiao Feng aside and explained the whole sequence of events.
After listening, Xiao Feng looked at Xiao Xiangzhu sowhat surprised, "It has this capability?"
Before this, Xiao Xiangzhu had left Xiao Feng with only one impression: following anyone around and simply being a guide runner.
This was also one of the reasons it was kept in a cage, as Xiao Feng didn't want strangers frequently showing up at the door.
And now, Xiao Xiangzhu demonstrated its second talent, having a hard head... or rather a tough beak.
The Samoyed was either knocked to death or pecked to death by Xiao Xiangzhu's beak.
Between these two possibilities, Xiao Feng leaned more toward the second.
Just as the argunt between the little girl and the woman was reaching a fever pitch, a police car appeared in sight.
"The police are here. You just wait, if I don't get you locked up, my last na ain't Wang!" The woman pointed at the little girl's nose and said.
The little girl simply stuck out her tongue, showing no sign of anxiety.
As they spoke, two police officers got out of the car.
One was a tall guy, and the other was a familiar face.
"Master," Di Junxiong approached Xiao Feng, whispering, "I heard sothing happened near Jinyue Garden and thought it might have sothing to do with you, and I was right."
"..." Xiao Feng.
How co those words don't sound like a complint?
The woman called out loudly, "Over here, I'm the actual victim here!"
The tall police officer approached, saluted, and activated the body cara on his chest, saying, "Hello, speak slowly, as for who is the victim, we will verify based on the situation."
"What's there to verify? I'm the victim!" The woman shouted even louder than before.
This kind of scene is quite common, especially during disputes in narrow streets, where both parties try to outshout each other.
It's as if the contest is not about who is right or wrong, but who is louder.
