"Here, your comb is right here." Jiang Yixin bent down to pick up the comb that had fallen onto the ground and handed it back to Wang Lubo.

Wang Lubo took the comb and said cheerfully, "Didn't lose it, nothing got lost, as I said, soone who's so good-looking wouldn't be a thief."

Xiao Feng seed deep in thought, could it be that he was overthinking?

They all headed towards the ticket inspection entrance, with Wang Lubo leading the way, even winking at the pretty woman in charge of checking tickets.

Unsurprisingly, the woman responsible for checking tickets remained indifferent, saying, "Sir, please show your ticket."

"Tch!" Wang Lubo reached into his pocket, squeezed his ticket between two fingers, and handed it over as if he were tipping.

"Sorry sir, please present your ticket." The ticket woman politely requested.

Wang Lubo furrowed his brows, "This isn't a tick..."

Halfway through his sentence, he widened his eyes because what he handed over was not a ticket but a blank piece of paper.

With a sheepish smile, Wang Lubo put his hand back into his pocket but couldn't retrieve the ticket no matter how hard he tried.

"Where's my ticket?" Wang Lubo suddenly felt uneasy and hurriedly checked other pockets, but found nothing.

"It's gone, the ticket's gone!" Wang Lubo exclaid in shock.

Xiao Feng chuckled, "To be precise, it was stolen."

Wang Lubo opened his mouth to defend the girl who had just sold him the glow sticks but couldn't find anything to say in the end.

"You guys go in first, I'll contact soone to send another ticket," Wang Lubo suggested.

Xiao Feng and the others didn't refuse, they directly showed their tickets, went through security, and entered the venue.

"Old Xiao, soone stole sothing right in front of you, and you're still okay with that?" Zhao Guo'an stirred the pot.

Zhen Jinghan, who had been quiet until now, spoke up, "Actually, it doesn't matter."

"What doesn't matter?" Zhao Guo'an asked, puzzled.

Zhen Jinghan explained, "Stealing the ticket is only to sell it for money; it's unlikely they would go in to watch themselves.

Moreover, outside there are at least tens of thousands of people; trying to accurately find soone is like searching for a needle in a haystack.

So rather than spending effort searching for the person, it's better to wait and see who uses the ticket to get in, and then through that person, find traces."

"Exactly!" Xiao Feng snapped his fingers and disdainfully glanced at Zhao Guo'an, "Next ti, think before you speak, look at how smart your wife is."

"..." Zhao Guo'an.

He started to doubt whether he got himself a fake girlfriend.

Just then, a group of people in professional attire approached, both n and won.

The leading woman, with a pleasant face, smiled and said, "Please hand over your tickets to , I'll escort you to your designated seats."

Xiao Feng and others handed their tickets over, then followed the guide into the venue.

This feeling was a bit like going to karaoke, where the cashier at the front desk would call over the walkie-talkie, announcing which number room for how many guests, and then an attendant would show up to lead them to a booth.

About two minutes later, Xiao Feng and the others arrived at the so-called VIP area.

Right away, the seating showed the difference; instead of cold, hard plastic, there were soft and comfortable couches.

In front of the couches was a table with sunflower seeds, peanuts, fruit platters, and drinks on it.

Outside was a railing, separating this area distinctly.

This kind of treatnt was akin to the difference between train hard seat and soft sleeper.

"If you need anything, feel free to use the walkie-talkie on the table to contact us at any ti," the woman who led them in said.

At this mont, the big screen in the venue displayed a countdown tir with fifteen minutes left.

Once the countdown ends, the concert will begin.

"Quite a nice view." The young girl nodded with satisfaction, then took photos and videos to post on her social dia.

She hadn't even posted when a sowhat familiar voice exclaid in disbelief, "It's you guys?!"

Xiao Feng and the others turned their heads simultaneously and saw the woman who had just lost her wallet.

The young girl paused, then quickly stood up, pulled the woman over, and said with a smile, "Seems like we really are destined to et."

"Yes, indeed." The woman nodded in response, though her expression was sowhat awkward.

After so questioning from the young girl, everyone learned that the woman's na was Li Jingyi, she was attending university in Xinwen City, and she had co specifically for the concert.

After chatting for a while, the young girl switched topics, "Jingyi, why didn't you line up with us when you have a VIP ticket?"

"I..." Li Jingyi smiled awkwardly, "Actually, my ticket was exchanged for."

"Exchanged?"

"Yes." Li Jingyi nodded, "While I was queuing, suddenly a very tall and beautiful girl approached , asking to swap tickets.

At first, I thought she might be scamming , but after scanning the anti-counterfeit QR code, I found it was indeed a real ticket, so I swapped with her."

Everyone nodded slowly, finding it understandable since there's a saying about taking advantage when you can.

Most people faced with this situation would probably make the sa choice as Li Jingyi.

"Did you keep her contact information?" Lu Yao asked.

If she had contact information, even just a phone number or a WeChat ID, Lu Yao was confident she could track the person down.

Unfortunately, Li Jingyi shook her head, indicating she hadn't.

The trail hit a dead end and couldn't be pursued further.

anwhile, the girl who exchanged the ordinary ticket from Li Jingyi handed it to a boy who looked about sixteen or seventeen in a corner of the stadium.

"This is a concert ticket. Give it to your sister and have her queue to get in."

The boy expressed gratitude, "Sister Jiao, I..."

"Save it for later, hurriedly keep the ticket safe," the girl said as she forcefully handed the ticket over and then turned to leave.

"Where are you going, Sister Jiao?"

"Have so matters to take care of, don't wait for after the concert; you guys head back to the institute first."

The boy watched the girl's departing figure, gritted his teeth, and sprinted towards the main entrance.

He arrived at a stall selling various glowing items and handed the ticket over, smiling, "Here!"

Across from him was a girl who looked about fourteen or fifteen, dressed plainly, with short ear-length hair and a pale complexion.

"Brother, where did you get the ticket?"

"Sister Jiao gave it; quickly queue to get into the venue while I watch the stall."

The girl accepted the ticket with both hands and smiled sweetly, "Thanks, bro!"

"You should thank Sister Jiao." The boy tousled the girl's hair lovingly, "Alright, hurry inside."

"Okay." The girl replied and joyfully ran to the back of the line.

The boy clenched his fists tightly, muttering to himself, "It can definitely be cured, definitely..."

Gradually, his gaze beca resolute, as if he was convinced his sister's illness could be cured.

In so ways, this was a form of self-hypnosis.

It sounded quite pathetic, but if you don't even believe it yourself, then there's truly no hope.

Or rather, apart from having faith, he had no choice.
