Facing Ji Liangcai rushing towards him, Xiao Feng didn't hold back. He extended his right hand and pushed him five ters away.

If it were a beautiful woman throwing herself at him, he might consider accepting, but a man? No, thank you.

Unless the other person has the looks of Xue Nuofu and can prevent Xiao Feng from identifying the gender beforehand.

"Xiao Feng, why did you push ?" Ji Liangcai, nearly falling, said with a resentful look.

Xiao Feng didn't engage in conversation but instead asked, "Aren't you afraid to wander around here alone in the middle of the night?"

"Not at all, I've been working here for three months and have beco quite familiar with everything, so there's nothing to fear," Ji Liangcai replied with a smile. "Moreover, I have this on ."

As he spoke, he took out a bundle of yellow talisman paper from his pocket, bound with a rubber band, and asked, "Want so, Xiao Feng? I'm selling, oh no, I'll give you a few sheets."

"Keep it for yourself," Xiao Feng declined with a shake of his head, then curiously asked, "What are you doing here?"

Upon being asked this question, Ji Liangcai seed embarrassed, touched his nose, and stuttered, "You don't know, Xiao Feng. This place is tough, you should've noticed when you arrived.

The nearest convenience store is five or six miles away. I have to cook for myself here. They provide ingredients, but it's just radish leaves and cabbage stalks—I've lost my appetite.

There are quite a few people coming to pay their respects today, so I thought I'd co up to see if I might scrounge so cigarettes, snacks, or fruit for so variety."

"Co up for a stroll?" Xiao Feng still had doubts. "You chose this specific ti?"

Ji Liangcai sighed, "The last guy who kept watch before apparently slept too soundly at night. Soone sneaked in during a heavy rain and blew open the tomb with dynamite, and the fool didn't wake up, thinking it was just thunder.

After he was fired, they established a rule that every night before sleeping, between ten and twelve, we must patrol and upload videos.

Just earlier, during my patrol, I saw those two discussing whether or not to kill a chicken, and I didn't dare co out."

At this point, Ji Liangcai pointed to the tombstone onto which Feng Haotian had flicked boogers, saying, "This is the tomb that got blown up. My leadership said it's been attacked at least three or four tis, either with dynamite or a sledgehamr."

"Why?" Xiao Feng wondered, "What did he do to deserve such hatred even in death?"

The saying goes, respect for the dead should prevail unless it's a matter of deep personal vendetta.

Ji Liangcai replied, "He was a real estate mogul when he was alive, hired thugs for violent evictions, and kidnapped won. He had plenty of enemies, so it's not surprising they're seeking revenge."

Xiao Feng nodded understandingly, glanced at the fight nearby that seed a foregone conclusion, and casually asked, "Working here, you must earn quite a bit, right?"

"Heh, not much, really." Ji Liangcai said, waving his hands, "Just around ten thousand. Would anyone take this job if it paid less?

By the way, Xiao Feng, considering our paths have crossed twice, maybe it's fate. Do you know of any better work opportunities to recomnd to ?"

Xiao Feng looked Ji Liangcai up and down, thinking that while this guy is eccentric, he seems quick-witted.

This is evident from his lack of curiosity about how Xiao Feng ended up here and why there's conflict with those three people.

After considering, Xiao Feng said, "Why don't you tell what skills you have?"

"I can do a lot—I'm skilled as a mason, sowhat at carpentry, can repair ho appliances, install air conditioning and plumbing, fix leaky roofs, conduct rituals, and pick locks..."

Xiao Feng interrupted with a laugh, "Are you giving your spiel? If you really can do all that, then you're quite the jack-of-all-trades."

"What can I do?" Ji Liangcai lit a cigarette, took a drag, and nostalgically said, "My parents passed early, so I entered society young. Without skills, I'd have starved long ago.

I can say my skills are competent enough to support myself, but it's tiring and there's no bright future.

But anyway, while I'm young, I should earn as much as I can."

Xiao Feng pondered for a mont, then said, "I know your greatest strength."

"What?"

"Your talent for persuasion."

"Persuasion?" Ji Liangcai imdiately protested, "Xiao Feng, what I've told you cos from the heart. I haven't lied once."

Xiao Feng didn't delve further, contemplating, "Here's the deal. Help with sothing, and if you succeed, I'll give you a hundred thousand."

"A hundred thousand?!" Ji Liangcai was startled, hesitating before tentatively asking, "It's not illegal, is it?"

Xiao Feng shook his head. "Not illegal, but there's a certain amount of danger.

You must understand, high reward ans high risk.

If I were to tell you that you can earn a hundred thousand every month by rely enjoying yourself, living lavishly, would you believe it?"

"True enough." Ji Liangcai considered before saying, "Tell what it is first. Let's see if I can do it."

Xiao Feng, as if anticipating this, said, "Just find soone for . Once found, you've completed the task."

Ji Liangcai remained silent until he finished a cigarette and firmly nodded, "Alright, I'll do it!

Once I manage to resign, I'll report to you in two days."

Xiao Feng agreed, gave him the address, and they roughly finalized the matter.

His gaze shifted to Hui Yi and others. The trio from the Celestial Defect Sect was now standing back-to-back in a triangular formation, seemingly on the verge of collapse, at risk of being broken at any mont.

"Let us go, or we'll all perish together!" Feng Haotian threatened fiercely, his small eyes flashing with fervor, seemingly ready for a deadly showdown.

Xiao Feng stepped forward, chuckled, "Haven't you considered surrendering like Zheng Wei?"

"Traitors are always the minority. His disgrace cannot be compared to us." Holy Army wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth, speaking angrily.

Xiao Feng laughed heartily, "I really don't understand your logic. Do you think I might let you go given the current situation?

Let you go, only for you to bide your ti and seek revenge on ?"

"Cough, cough, cough..." Ji Shengli coughed violently, struggling to fend off the punches and kicks, speaking with difficulty, "I... I'm willing to surrender, don't kill !"

"Damn you!" Feng Haotian swore, "You're worse than the turtles you raise. Have you no backbone?"

Holy Army asked solemnly, "Are you serious about surrendering?"
