Now reading: Chapter 912: Visiting Tiebushan from The Magnificent Son-in-law, a Action novel by Rain sounds during the hours of midnight.

"Bang!"

This was already the eighth ti Xiao Feng had thrown the young man out.

Nevertheless, the young man still managed to crawl back up, like an indomitable cockroach.

Even though he looked extrely battered, with blood dripping from the corner of his mouth, his fighting spirit and anger had never diminished. Instead, they grew even stronger with each fall!

Of course, this was because Xiao Feng wasn't trying to kill him; otherwise, if he intended to murder, the young man probably wouldn't have been able to get up after being thrown the first ti.

"Sigh..."

Xiao Feng sighed, and while throwing the young man once more, used a tranquilizer made by Sun Shijie to jab him.

The young man struggled to stand, but upon taking a step, a strong sense of dizziness struck him, his legs buckled, and he nearly fell to the ground.

He shook his head, punched his forehead twice, but it was to no avail, eventually collapsing to the ground, unable to get back up.

"Iron Lad!" Tie Yidao looked at his fallen son, pulling out the Bone-Cutting Knife from the ground, but instead of swinging it, he threw it straight ahead.

"Whoosh!"

The Bone-Cutting Knife spun through the air, flying toward Xiao Feng.

Xiao Feng easily dodged it, yet he no longer made a move against Tie Yidao, needing soone in charge to remain clear-headed.

"I think it's better to call the police and let them examine the scene, speaking with evidence." Sun Shijie said loudly.

Tie Nongbao clearly noticed that upon hearing the word "police," his son beca visibly flustered.

This made him instinctively uneasy, could it be that the person was killed by his own son?

He stepped forward, first calming the villagers, then pulled Tie Yanmin aside, speaking with a stern tone, "You better tell the truth quickly, how exactly did Xiaowu die?"

"Dad, I..."

"Not going to tell the truth, huh? Fine, then wait for the police investigation!"

"Wait! I'll talk, I'll talk!"

Tie Yanmin had no choice but to confess the whole story.

After listening, Tie Nongbao felt so angry that his vision almost darkened: "You... how could you be so foolish!"

However, what's done is done, no matter how much he scolded his son, the dead wouldn't co back, nor could past events be erased.

After a brainstorming session, Tie Nongbao went to the side of Old Donkey, patting his shoulder and said, "First distribute the goods from the vehicle to everyone."

"But this..."

"Listen to , distribute the goods first."

The already disoriented Old Donkey had no choice but to comply.

And after diverting most people's attention, Tie Nongbao went to Tie Yidao, first handing him a cigarette, lighting it before saying, "I've more or less understood the situation clearly, Xiaowu fell from the mountain by accident."

"What!" Tie Yidao's tone changed: "Impossible! When Tiedan ca to my house to call , they said Xiaowu was pushed from the mountain, how has it beco an accident now?"

Tie Nongbao looked around and said, "Don't get agitated, the most urgent thing right now is to bring Xiaowu back to the village, I'm organizing people for that."

"Hold on!" Tie Yidao took out his phone and said, "We must call the police first, don't think I'm uneducated and unaware of what protecting the scene ans."

"You!" Tie Nongbao, sowhat infuriated, snapped, "The scene has long been compromised, even if the police co, they can't definitively pin anyone's guilt, might as well seize this chance to extort them for so money."

"What do you say?"

Tie Nongbao had already thought it through; if Xiao Feng and Sun Shijie didn't pay, he would co up with the money himself to settle the issue for his son.

Unexpectedly, Tie Yidao firmly crushed his cigarette butt, yelling, "What do I say? I say a life for a life, whoever killed my son, I'll make them pay!"

Seeing the other party so resolute, Tie Nongbao tossed all the cigarettes in his pocket to Tie Yidao, saying, "I'll arrange a few people so Xiaowu doesn't spend a night outside."

After saying that, Tie Nongbao turned around and left, his expression dark to the extre.

He first separately talked to seven people aside from his own son, roughly discussing whether they could take the bla for this.

If they agreed, whether they got imprisoned, or the police couldn't figure it out, they would receive a large sum of money and many other benefits.

But unsurprisingly, unless soone was utterly desperate, no one was willing to agree imdiately.

Though anxious, Tie Nongbao still promised to give them ti to consider it.

"If no one agrees, I can only resort to special ans!" Tie Nongbao thought darkly to himself.

His so-called special ans wasn't referring to violence.

Rather, first bribe six people, then together point to the one not bribed, thereby ensuring his son's safety, although at a higher cost.

But however high, it was better than actually going to prison!

Tie Nongbao soon gathered many young n in the village, intending to pull Xiaowu back with a cart.

Tie Yidao, however, had already called the police, determined to seek justice for his son!

Xiao Feng quite admired this kind of person who pursued things to the end, he had roughly heard what Tie Nongbao said to Tie Yidao.

Later, Tie Nongbao sought out those seven people, though Xiao Feng hadn't heard directly, he more or less knew it was about finding soone to take the bla as the mastermind instead of his son.

But no matter what, if Tie Nongbao were smart, he shouldn't think of pinning the guilt on him and the others.

"Rest assured, there will be justice for your son's matter!" Xiao Feng said calmly.

Tie Yidao snorted coldly, his eyes ablaze with anger.

At this mont, Old Donkey approached, opened his mouth, yet said nothing.

Previously, the whole side of pork they bought was always handled by Tie Yidao, but now, going through the pain of losing a son, how could he be in the mood to deal with pork?

"Let first take you to find my cousin." Old Donkey said to Xiao Feng.

Xiao Feng nodded, "Okay."

...

Tiebushan's place was located at the outermost part of the village.

The outer walls were constructed of piles of blue bricks, the gate was two wooden doors, appearing tattered and weathered.

Old Donkey didn't knock but directly pushed the door open.

Xiao Feng and Sun Shijie followed behind, they imdiately saw the tree previously described by Old Donkey as resembling a bamboo pole, with no branches or leaves spreading, yet evolving in height each year.

"What kind of tree is this?" Xiao Feng inspected for a while, failed to recognize it, and couldn't help but draw closer for a look.

From behind, Old Donkey shouted urgently, "Don't get close!"

Unfortunately, the warning was a tad too late.

Inside the courtyard wall, an arrow suddenly appeared, speeding towards Xiao Feng's chest.

Xiao Feng hurriedly shifted sideways, bent down, one hand supporting the ground.

"Hmm?"

This tactile sensation... seed sowhat off.

"Boom! Boom! Boom! Boom!"

Four firecracker-like noises ca consecutively, a giant net flew out from the right side, its speed remarkably quick!

"Damn!" Xiao Feng cursed, scrambling forward to escape the coverage of the giant net, his posture best described as wretched.

However, barely had he crawled two ters when a "click" sound echoed.

Without thinking, this must have triggered another kind of chanism.

Simultaneously, the sense of danger in his heart grew ever stronger...
