"Your Majesty! I’m so sorry for raising my voice!" Solene’s face darkened as she suddenly realized she was still yelling.

[My rabbit gets mad at too when I shout at her. Usually, I make it up to her by giving her lots of carrots ... but what about Her Majesty?!]

[I can’t just give her carrots!]

Panic-stricken, Solene imdiately bowed before Primrose. "I’m really so—"

She froze mid-sentence as she heard sothing unexpected.

Laughter.

Primrose tried to stifle it, she really did, but she simply couldn’t hold it in. Solene was just too funny—her flustered reaction, her pure-hearted thoughts, everything about this was unexpectedly sweet.

It had never once crossed Primrose’s mind that a forr knight like Solene would have such unconditional love for sothing as tiny and delicate as a bunny.

"... Your Majesty?" Solene tilted her head, utterly confused.

[Did... did I do sothing funny?]

[But her laugh sounds so cute, so who cares about the reason?]

"I’m sorry." Primrose waved her hand dismissively, taking a deep breath to compose herself. "It’s just ... you don’t have to worry so much about that. I’m not going to drop dead just because soone shouts at ."

Solene lowered her voice. "But still ... it would be better if I didn’t shout at you."

[If the soldiers warned this seriously, then Her Majesty really must have a weak heart!]

[Oh no ... is she just pretending to be strong in front of because she’s afraid of being bullied?]

[Do I look that rough? I swear I asked my sister to make look like a proper lady!]

Solene glanced toward the window and was startled when she caught sight of her own reflection that looked ssy.

Her hair was a ss. Her dress was wrinkled. She imdiately fussed with her hair, trying to smooth it down, and straightened her dress as best as she could.

"I’m so sorry for showing up looking like this, Your Majesty," she muttered, thoroughly embarrassed. "I must look awful."

Primrose shook her head, a soft laugh escaping her lips. "What do you an, Lady Solene? You look beautiful to ."

She wasn’t just saying that to be polite because it was the truth.

Despite spending most of her ti outdoors, despite preferring a sword over embroidery, and despite her slightly disheveled state, Solene had a natural beauty.

There was a beauty in her, an effortless charm that no amount of dirt or untad hair could hide.

With the right makeup and dress, she could transform from a fierce goose into a graceful swan.

Before Solene could respond, Primrose spoke up, "I was about to read a book in the greenhouse. Would you like to join ?"

"Of course!" Solene bead. "Which book do you want to bring along?"

Primrose tapped her chin, considering it for a mont. She hadn’t co across any new books that interested her lately, so she might as well revisit so of the ones she had once found intriguing.

Books on politics? Ugh, too boring. She had no desire to spend the rest of her day reading about governance, especially when she was still annoyed about her missing wedding ring.

Fiction? Unfortunately, once she had read a story, she couldn’t reread it. The spoilers ruined all the fun.

Hmm ... what about toxicology?

Silas was expected to return to the palace tomorrow, or perhaps the day after.

At first, she had worried that sothing bad might happen while Edmund was away, but now that Solene was here with her, she felt much more at ease.

But the real danger wasn’t an attack with sharp weapons.

It was poison.

She had a lot to learn about toxins.

She selected three books on herbal knowledge and deadly plants and placed them on the table.

"I think these should be enough for today," Primrose said, stacking the books together and preparing to pick them up.

But before she could even reach for them, Solene had already grabbed the entire pile with just one hand.

"Allow to carry these for you, Your Majesty," Solene said casually.

Primrose blinked in surprise. She lifted those so effortlessly ... with one hand?!

She herself often struggled to carry those thick books with both hands, yet Solene carried them like they weighed nothing. Was she even human?!

Wait—no.

She wasn’t human. Of course a lycan could lift them with one hand. Edmund could even destroy her bedroom door with a single kick.

And as if carrying the books wasn’t enough, Solene also picked up her luggage with her other hand, all while still smiling!

These lycans were truly muscle monsters.

"Y-You can ask the maids to carry your luggage to your room," Primrose said hesitantly.

"No, it’s fine." Solene smiled. "It’s actually ... kind of heavy."

But her luggage didn’t even look that big.

Primrose was pretty sure even she could carry it without much trouble.

"How about just leaving the luggage here?" Primrose suggested. "You can take it later when you go to your room."

Solene seed to think it over for a mont before nodding. "Alright, then."

She placed the luggage on the large table in the center of the library, but to Primrose’s shock, a loud thud echoed through the room the mont the bag hit the surface.

What the hell is in that bag?! Was she carrying bricks or sothing?!

"No! Don’t put it there!"

The librarian’s eyes widened in horror, his face pale as if he had just witnessed a cri.

He was already stressed enough cleaning up scattered books and if the table broke because of that luggage, he might just throw himself off the highest bookshelf.

"Oh, I’m so sorry." Solene imdiately grabbed the bag again and placed it on the floor instead. "I’m really sorry, sir."

After apologizing a few more tis, Solene started heading toward the door, while Primrose’s eyes were still glued to the mysterious luggage.

Curious, she gave it a small nudge with her foot and she nearly scread.

It was solid. Heavy. Like a damn rock.

Instead of moving it, she had just hurt her own toes!

"Your Majesty, do you still need sothing from there?" Solene turned back, noticing that Primrose had yet to leave the library.

Primrose quietly hissed in pain before quickly straightening up. "No, let’s head to the greenhouse."
