Actually, from Puchun to Chen Yu Ying's house, if you just slightly detoured, you could reach Lin Li's house.
And if they set a drop-off point en route, they could have the sa car drop off Chen Yu Ying then directly send Lin Li, without needing to book another ride.
But both chose the dumbest thod by booking another car.
No help for it; early in love, in the heat of passionate feelings, even separating for a second feels so prolonged, even if it's just watching the other's departing back, trying to extend that brief shared mont as much as possible.

"Huh?" Lin Li stopped in his tracks hearing this, instinctively pulled out the lip gloss from his shoulder bag's side pocket, the one Chen Yu Ying had given him to give to his girlfriend, turned around, and raised the small tube with so bewildernt: "It's here?"
"Silly, I borrowed a bit but hadn't returned it to you." Her voice already nearby.
Before her words ended, the world's light and shadows seed gently teased.
The streetlamp's light was briefly blocked.
Breath warm with a distinct sweetness.
Her soft hair seed to lightly brush past his nose, carrying a faint hint of orange blossom fragrance, like the spring breeze passing through new leaves.
"Now, you've got it all, get in the car." She stepped back, standing there calmly, no debts weighing her down, not running, just quietly under the light looking at Lin Li, her voice soft yet filled with a resolution of ease.
Lin Li lowered his head, looking at the lip gloss lying quietly in his palm, slowly curling his fingers up, clutching the lip gloss along with the pounding heartbeat tightly.
His lips curled up, looking at the composed girl yet unable to hide the shyness and gentleness in her eyes, his heart filled with warmth.
No superfluous actions, just obediently pulled open the back door and got in.
With a light closure, the car window rolled down.
Across that invisible boundary, the youth's gaze bright and smiling:
"Give and take, so, won't it be hard next ti?"
Chen Yu Ying couldn't hold back her laughter at last, that laughter clear and pleasant, but then, she just gently gazed at the young man inside the car, eyes smiling without words.
