Looking at Theresa, who was smiling as she t with her, Aurora felt that she was not as holy and beautiful as she had imagined before. She felt that she was far inferior to the divinity Aurora had sensed from Caelus when she first woke up.

It was a feeling that transcended the secular world, a perspective that looked down upon the living beings on this land, like the sky overhead, clearly visible, yet when you reached out, you realized it was so far beyond reach.

"Hello, Your Highness Theresa, I have heard much about you. To be honest, the reason I ca to Babel is because I wanted to see the renowned you. I want to know if the Sarkaz have a future under your leadership."

Upon hearing this, Theresa did not look offended. Instead, she nodded with great understanding, then invited Aurora to sit inside Babel so they could discuss things further.

Kal'tsit, standing to the side, sized Aurora up from head to toe, using her behavior and attire to judge what kind of person she was.

In the conference room, Theresa sat at the head of the table with Kal'tsit beside her. Aurora sat at the other end, accompanied by an unremarkable, ordinary-looking gray-haired young man who seed to have nothing special about him, the type who would disappear into a crowd, never to be found, and whose existence would be quickly forgotten after eting him.

Kal'tsit could not even be bothered to spare a second of her attention on that insignificant pawn beside Aurora.

Even though this was highly irrational behavior, and even knowing that soone capable of following Aurora should have sothing special about them, Kal'tsit still did not pay much attention to him.

Theresa also focused all her attention on Aurora, continuously describing her vision for the future of Kazdel. She described what kind of nation she wanted to turn Kazdel into, told her how much effort she had made toward this goal, and spoke of how harmonious, loving, and united the mbers of Babel were.

Listening to these accounts, Aurora understood that this idealistic monarch did not only have ideals. She also had her own thods and was capable of taking practical action.

By the end of the conversation, Theresa even extended her left hand and said to Aurora with a smile,

"Miss Aurora, if you are willing, could you join Babel? Join us in changing Kazdel, changing the unfair treatnt the Sarkaz have endured for years, saving those who need to be saved, and giving the Sarkaz a holand where they can truly live."

Aurora had to admit that the person before her was indeed full of charm. If it were the old her, she would have joined Babel without hesitation after hearing these words, becoming a force in Theresa's hands, and perhaps even worshipping this monarch.

But how could a monarch struggling in the mortal world compare to a deity sitting high in the heavens?

Even if that deity did not consciously interfere with the world or save those people, the power that rely scattered from Him was enough to bring substantial changes to this land, just as it had with Aurora.

She had originally been just a scavenger with minor detection abilities, but after coming into contact with the existence of the deity, she had gained unparalleled power. She could assimilate the spirits of others, making them believe in the deity alongside her, and could also heal physical injuries and treat illnesses by consuming her own power.

This was even without her actively trying to recruit others, yet over a hundred people had already joined her group. According to the news she had received in recent days, that other person blessed by the deity had already gathered a large number of people across Kazdel and had even ford a third faction.

This was the reason Theresa was receiving her so seriously, and why the lady nad Kal'tsit beside her had been constantly sizing her up and analyzing her.

But these mortals would never discover or understand that the deity who could truly save everyone and bring hope and light back to this gray and dead land was sitting calmly right beside them, watching everyone with an existence that could not be perceived by anyone.

Thinking of this, the charm radiating from the monarch nad Theresa instantly vanished from Aurora's heart. She maintained a polite smile on her face, but it did not seem intimate, rely filled with the courtesy that etiquette required.

"Thank you very much for your invitation, but I am sorry, I do not want to stay in one place. Kazdel is in the midst of a civil war, and there are more people who need to save them. Even outside Kazdel, in many more countries, there are more people suffering, tornted by illness and injury. They all need to save them."

Theresa nodded. She was not angry or resentful that her invitation had been declined. Instead, she deeply agreed with Aurora's reason and even offered to sponsor Aurora's actions, providing the money and supplies needed for her to travel across the continent.

While expressing her gratitude for Theresa's sponsorship, Aurora also said, "It is truly a pity, Your Highness. A charismatic monarch like you, if I had t you earlier, I might have fought for your ideals for a lifeti, or even given my life."

"But now, having received the deity's blessing and witnessed the existence of the deity with my own eyes, I must give everything for the deity. My heart, my body, and even my soul exist for the deity."

Kal'tsit frowned, stood up, and said, "There are no true deities on this land. Those whom the world calls deities are nothing more than powerful Feranmuts, or so hidden existences lurking in the dark. The deity you believe in is likely nothing more than a lie."

Kal'tsit was trying to provoke Aurora in this way. First, she wanted to obtain data on the deity the other party worshipped, and second, she wanted to allow Theresa to play the good person and gain more favor.

Who would have thought that Aurora, who seed as devout as a fanatic based on her words and actions, would look at the standing and questioning Kal'tsit with a smile of pity and compassion?

"Ms. Kal'tsit, from your understanding, deities might not exist. For people like you, who have seen many people, read many books, and possess more knowledge, what you call deities might indeed just be so relatively special existences. After all, this all stems from your own cognition and understanding."

"Humans cannot imagine existences that exceed their own understanding. Perhaps the deity we worship is right beside you, but you simply cannot notice it. Who knows?"

Aurora smiled mysteriously, then turned and left.

At the sa ti, Theresa and Kal'tsit also saw that person, who looked like a guard or an attendant, close the notebook he was writing in and leave together with her.

Even now, these two still had not noticed anything amiss.
