Fang Ka made his way back to the Ancient Castle, then headed to the Underground Library to return the books in his hands to their original places.
He then carefully selected so books on alchemical advancent and placed them in a pile to the side.
After finishing the selection, Fang Ka ticulously flipped through them again, and once he felt satisfied, he took the books and headed outside.
He returned to the beach where Xia Lin was waiting for him, and upon seeing him, she excitedly waved and greeted, "ntor Fang Ka!"
Fang Ka nodded at her and then gestured to the adult Pink rfolk waiting on the beach, signaling her to pass the books he held to Xia Lin.
Upon receiving the books, Xia Lin hugged them tightly like treasures, fearing any mishap.
Fang Ka nodded at Xia Lin, "I’ve categorized these alchemy books for you; I suggest you start from the ones at the very bottom."
Hearing Fang Ka’s words, Xia Lin glanced at the book at the bottom of the pile in her arms, then at the one at the top, and gratefully smiled at Fang Ka, "ntor Fang Ka, you’ve been so considerate."
"I’ll co back again by tomorrow evening; you can bring any doubts to , and I’ll clarify them," Fang Ka said to Xia Lin before preparing to leave.
Xia Lin nodded eagerly like a pecking chick, "Alright, ntor Fang Ka."
Just as Fang Ka turned to leave, he heard Noel’s soft voice from behind, "Um, Lord Fang Ka..."
Fang Ka paused and turned to look at Noel, who was leaning against the reef.
"What’s up, Noel? Is there sothing you need?"
Noel stared at Fang Ka, her face turning red, her pink lips moving slightly, as if having difficulty speaking.
Fang Ka, curious at her behavior, asked, "Didn’t have enough to eat? Need so more?"
Saying this, Fang Ka recalled the rumors of the Sea Flip.
But it didn’t matter; he felt unperturbed now.
Noel bit her lower lip, her face reddening further as she replied, "Lord Fang Ka, could you arrange so fights for ?"
Xia Lin looked at Noel sowhat helplessly but didn’t say much.
Fang Ka was montarily taken aback by her words, his gaze resting on Noel’s innocent and cute face for a long while before he slowly asked, "Fights?"
He thought he might have misheard; how could such a soft, adorable rmaid say sothing so out of character?
Noel’s face turned even redder, blushing up to her ears, but she firmly said, "Yes, Lord Fang Ka, I want to fight! It’s been so long since I’ve fought that my bones are rusting..."
Only then did Fang Ka confirm he hadn’t misheard, curiously observing the blushing Noel, finding her sowhat endearingly contrasting.
How could soone so shy and adorable speak such fierce words?
"Emmmm..." Fang Ka was silent for a long mont.
Noel is now a High Tier Knight, and apart from Xia Lin, who is a High Tier Mage, there really isn’t anyone on the island she could spar with.
At this point, Fang Ka couldn’t help but glance beyond the island.
There, black mist swirled, obscuring any clear view.
Kain’s last words were for him to reach High Tier Mage, summon a flying Nightmare Beast, and then forever leave this island.
The Nightmare Beast is a unique type of Undead Creature; its combat ability is considered below average among sa-tier Undead Creatures.
However, its flight capability is the fastest among all Netherworld Undead Creatures.
Does this an that with a Nightmare Beast, Kain’s enemy wouldn’t be able to catch up?
This would perfectly explain why Kain could return to this island even in a gravely injured, near-death state.
Probably, Kain encountered an ambush, struggled desperately to break through, and escaped with the speed of the Nightmare Beast.
Thinking this, Fang Ka’s gaze involuntarily shifted to Xia Lin.
Xia Lin practiced Water Elent and Wind Elent Magic, which didn’t conflict with the Dark Elent...
So should he teach her Dark Magic? Let her learn how to summon the Nightmare Beast’s magic?
Fang Ka could freely access any information from the previous life’s internet, and he had specifically looked into psychology before.
Through observing various micro-expressions and movents during this period, he was confident that Xia Lin genuinely appreciated him and greatly respected him.
Moreover, with so many of her kindreds held here, along with the Demon Core Kain left behind, Xia Lin was entirely within a controllable range.
If any danger arose, whether through emotional appeal or coercion, having her use the Nightmare Beast to send him away shouldn’t be difficult.
Besides, this is the Ten Thousand Islands Sea Domain (Chaotic Sea Domain); finding a specific island here is like searching for a needle in a haystack.
Especially since Kain had set up so many concealing Magic Arrays on this island.
Fang Ka truly doubted any enemies could track them down here.
Upon careful consideration, Fang Ka found his plan quite sound.
However, there was no imdiate need to fully open the island; he could first open a small passage using the Magic Array to let the rfolk go out from the sea floor and explore the surroundings before planning further.
Previously, he had been preoccupied with players and cultivation matters, not giving much thought to this.
Initially, he intended to wait until the first batch of players reached High Tier Skeleton Warrior before opening the island passage for their exploration.
However, now that the rfolk were available, they could act as scouts earlier.
First, investigate the surroundings of this island to see if there are any other islands nearby.
After pondering these matters, Fang Ka looked at Noel, "It’s not impossible; outside the island, there should be plenty of fights to have..."
Noel imdiately asked excitedly, "Lord Fang Ka, can I go out to fight?"
Fang Ka turned his gaze toward Xia Lin, "Well, you can, but it’s always good to be more prepared. Xia Lin, I plan to teach you the high-order Dark Magic ’Nightmare Beast Contract.’ Would you be willing to learn?"
"As long as you master this magic, I can open a passage on the island for you to take people out and explore the seafloor."
"In case of an ergency, you all can safely retreat back."
With such a number of her kindreds staying behind, coupled with Xia Lin’s temperant, Fang Ka wasn’t worried they’d leave and never return.
Not to ntion, Xia Lin and her group of rfolk had deep-seated hatred with the rfolk Kingdom.
Upon hearing this, Noel turned her gaze to Xia Lin.
Xia Lin t Noel’s eyes and then replied, "ntor Fang Ka, I would be happy to learn this high-order Dark Magic. Moreover, would you be able to teach so other Dark Magic as well?"
Fang Ka nodded at this, "Of course, that’s not a problem. However, don’t neglect the knowledge in the Alchemy Domain either."
