The glazed palace at the mountaintop rested against a cliff.

Spiritual Mist swirled before its gates, with many a Hongqiao arching up and Immortal Cranes dancing in the air.

A handso man in a fluttering cyan Magic Robe stood there, the flaming divine bird pattern on his robe exceptionally vivid. With his black hair unbound and an air of imnse Divine Qi, he rode the clear winds, looking utterly free and unrestrained.

A Sun Disc floated behind the man, with six double-edged blades standing erect around it. His sashes fluttered, making him look like a deity.

The handso man faced the sky above Daoist Alliance Mountain. Though it was clearly empty, his expression was solemn as he clasped his hands in a high salute.

"Reporting to Master, the Confucian Temple is pressing us. They want the Dao Alliance to work together to find the location of the Little World."

"This disciple’s strength is ager; I cannot calculate the exact coordinates. It must be the one from the Eighth Throne who is interfering."

The handso man’s brow furrowed. The current situation was dire. Otherwise, a man of his stature—the Master of the Dao Alliance, a Celestial Monarch of his generation—would never have co to seek help from the founding master of the Taoist Sect, the great Taoist Ancestor.

At that mont, the sky faintly shimred.

A line of imposing golden text descended, landing in the man’s palm.

’These are... coordinates!’

After reading them, a look of astonishnt appeared in the handso man’s eyes.

’As expected of Master. He truly is the number one person in this world.’

"The great Dao spans a thousand years, but one must ultimately cross over on one’s own."

Then, an ethereal and ancient voice entered his ears, carrying an indifference that seed to have witnessed the vast changes of the world over ten thousand years.

’Ultimately cross over on one’s own...’

The handso man pondered for a mont. He didn’t understand the Taoist Ancestor’s aning at first, but after so thought, he clasped his hands and said, "Does the Taoist Ancestor an that now is not the best ti? Then this disciple understands. I will have my people ready to break in at a mont’s notice. At the sa ti, I will make arrangents to close the net early, so the Demon Race won’t dare to invade our Human Race again."

He then took his leave of the summit, a sharp glint appearing in his eyes.

"Those who offend our Human Race shall be slain, no matter how far they flee."

...

Far away, in the westernmost part of the Central Plains World.

There stood an abandoned Royal City, its outskirts littered with heaps of white bones. Ninety-nine bone towers, each a hundred ters tall and made of human skeletons, seed to be asserting so kind of authority.

Inside the palace, shattered and overturned stone pillars lay askew, scattered across the floor. The ancient stone carvings on the murals seed alive, coldly staring at the reflection in a Glazed Treasure Pearl at the very center.

The Treasure Pearl appeared unremarkable.

But if one were to zoom in continuously, deep into its flaws, one could see a line. Along this line were mountains and rivers, yellow sands and countless peaks, and densely packed black dots.

From different angles, one could see different lines, each a unique landscape. Together, they ford a majestic world.

A graceful and noble beauty with a hundred-ter-long snake body was coiled upon a throne set before a mural of a celestial maiden descending from the heavens. Her extrely long serpentine body trailed on the ground, and every light flick of its tail could shake the entire hall. Her hairpins were all ford from coiling green spirit snakes, and the spirit snakes on her head flicked their tongues, a sight that would make one’s scalp crawl. And yet, she herself was stunningly beautiful. Clad in a golden Emperor’s Robe, the aura she exuded was terrifying beyond compare.

Compared to her, the other Snake Won in the hall seed tiny. With their dresses and colorful sashes fluttering, they obediently held their pipas, heads bowed, not daring to look at the beauty on the throne.

This was their ancestor.

Their old ancestor stood at the apex of the Wilderness. Even in the greater Wilderness World, she held an extrely high status, revered by billions of the Demon Race.

anwhile, a handso and burly man rested his foot on the severed head of a High Monk with closed eyes, guzzling wine from a large jar. He let out a satisfied breath before pouring the rest of the wine over the head. A faint glimr of Buddha’s Light flashed, and the spectral Divine Soul of the monk appeared. With a numb expression, it watched helplessly as its own head was kicked about like a ball.

The handso and burly man chuckled darkly. As if that wasn’t enough, his massive hand swept out and grabbed several of the Snake Won who were playing music in the hall. He callously stuffed them into his sharp-toothed mouth, savoring them as if they were jelly beans, chewing them thoroughly before swallowing. He then smacked his lips.

The graceful and noble beauty was completely unfazed. She even proactively used her snake tail to snatch up several Snake Race dancers and tossed them to the man for his enjoynt.

The Snake Race reproduced endlessly, birthing hundreds or even thousands each day. They had as many as one could want.

This man’s greatest pleasure in life was eating heads. As long as he ate one, he could master one of its skills.

At a position of great height, a burly, bearded man with neat clothes stood with a sword on his back, his arms crossed as he watched coldly.

Kneeling beside him was the mummified corpse of a Human Race man in tattered clothes, all its blood long since drained. The corpse maintained a look of unyielding defiance, its hand still gripping a Long Sword. Countless other swords were stuck into its body, fanned out like a peacock’s tail or the quills of a hedgehog. This was a special sword rack the bearded man used to hold his Flying Swords—every ti he killed a Human Race Sword Immortal, he would impale the body with another sword.

It was as if doing so could display his power.

Even higher up sat an upright man with dragon horns. He wore an azure long-robe and rested with his eyes closed. His hands were on his knees, and in his palms, he held a fist-sized ball of light that would suddenly turn snow-white, then pitch-black, then burst into a panoply of colors. He was the owner of the Treasure Pearl in the center of the hall.

At a slightly lower position stood a burly, six-ard warrior clad in Golden Armor. A pair of snow-white tusks pressed against his faceguard. The Golden Armor was no common item; upon closer inspection, one could see it was a suit of Treasure Armor pieced together from nurous Immortal Artifacts, all of which were covered in cracks.

These were all his spoils of war. He had always loved collecting Treasure Armor, preferably other people’s, because other people’s was always the best.

"Your Highness, a ssage has arrived from Black Peng Demon Monarch. All our armies have been blocked by powerful Human Race experts and cannot advance. He suggests we combine our forces and march directly on Yingsha Ancient City!"

A graceful woman stepped forward to report in the main hall, her face filled with terror, not even daring to breathe too loudly.

The beautiful woman ignored her. Her lovely crimson lips parted slightly as her delicate hand gripped a bull-horned skull, a hint of surprise in her serpentine eyes.

"Are the Human Race’s experts really that strong?"

But after hearing the maid’s report, her expression imdiately beca nonchalant.

"Just press them harder."

"The Human Race has run rampant for hundreds of years, enjoying the imnse Destiny of the Central Plains. As long as their National Fortune doesn’t fall, Human Race Cultivators will erge in an endless stream. They’ll be difficult to wipe out completely. We must increase the pressure."

The handso and burly man yawned lazily and chid in, "That’s right. Just send more troops. Settle it quickly."

Suddenly, the man with dragon horns opened his eyes. His amber-gold Dragon Eyes were incredibly unsettling. He said in a deep voice, "An incense stick’s ti ago, this place was invaded by the River of Ti. Soone was spying on us from the past."

"Who was it?"

"The Taoist Ancestor."

The man with dragon horns said, narrowing his eyes.

Upon hearing that na, everyone’s expression turned grim. Only the handso and burly man demanded:

"Didn’t you say this was foolproof? Don’t tell you had no defenses prepared. We’ve been waiting for this opportunity for hundreds of years."

"Or could it be... that your Dao Practice has regressed even further compared to the Taoist Ancestor’s?"

He added the last part with a mocking sneer.

The man with dragon horns ignored his taunt and said flatly:

"If the Inner Space hadn’t just opened, with its entrance still unstable and unable to allow more powerful beings to descend, how long do you think the experts of the various Dynasties could have held out?"

The beautiful woman gave a cold laugh, her voice enchantingly sweet as she shook her head.

"You’re overthinking it. This matter can’t be resolved in a short ti. The Confucian Temple, the Taoist Sect, and the Buddhist Sect are not just for show. Although the Human Race has few experts, each one has absorbed the Destiny of an entire continent. If the few of us make a move, do you think those great figures lurking in the shadows of the Human Race will just stand by and do nothing?"

The handso and burly man seed to have eaten his fill. He stood up, stretched languidly, and narrowed his eyes in comfort.

"Then it’s soldier against soldier, general against general. Our Demon Race has been Sleeping on Firewood and Tasting Gall for so long, wasn’t it all for this mont? We’ve bestowed so many Treasures in advance; their Cultivation progress shouldn’t be poor. They’re just a few so-called prodigies of the Human Race. Don’t worry, they won’t last that long!"

"If I get the chance to act, I will definitely get my revenge."

The beautiful woman’s expression was indifferent. A demonic black light appeared in her palm as she crushed a string of dull, lightless Relics. It seed they were once the life essence of so Venerable Arhat.

The six-ard, burly warrior bood, "Back then, we were driven out by the Human Race, allowing them to monopolize the Ascension Platform. Who among us doesn’t want revenge now? How can we let such a good opportunity go? But at must be eaten one bite at a ti. I don’t need to tell you what happens if you take too large a stride."

"Prepare to make your moves. The people from the Three Religions will be here soon."
