Now reading: Chapter 208 - 164: Tragedy of the Human Race, Rivers of Bloo from The Prince Can Do Divination, a Eastern novel by Platonic Paradigm.

As Lu Mingyuan traveled, he discovered that the surrounding mountain ranges had transford into a barren desert. In the span of a re fifteen minutes, he had passed through forests and rivers, peaks and cliffs, and a highland rainforest; now, it had all beco a desolate wasteland.

The landscape was bizarre, as if it had been pieced together, completely defying the laws of nature.

At that mont, the sky was dim and the sand was parched. Black smoke drifted everywhere from the fires of war.

The sounds of battle had ceased, leaving an eerie silence in their wake.

The closer Lu Mingyuan got to the center of the Grotto Heaven, the more corpses of familiar Cultivators he began to see.

For instance, there was the tall, sturdy Second Prince of the Great Wu Dynasty, who had fallen to the Pig Demon.

He had ultimately died here, falling on this land along with nurous Da Wu Armor Soldiers.

His corpse, gnawed on by desert scorpions, was a bloody ss with entrails strewn everywhere. The fatal wound was a slit throat, made by so sharp weapon.

The wound didn’t look like it was from a sword; it seed more like he had been lashed with sothing before his throat was cleanly cut.

Without being a Grandmaster, one couldn’t even survive in this Pocket World.

Even a Middle Fifth Grade expert would find it difficult to survive here.

As he walked, he saw Guards who had been trampled into pulp by the Demon Race army. It was an indirect confirmation of the demons’ vast numbers; just because he had managed to avoid them didn’t an they weren’t there.

As for the Treasures, weapons, and money on these corpses, Lu Mingyuan could only be grateful and tearfully accept them.

They were already dead; leaving their Treasures behind would be a waste.

Adhering to the principle of not letting things go to waste, it was better that he take them.

This act of plundering Opportunities caused the Refinent Level of his "Blessings Rolling In" Fate Grid to increase at an incredible rate.

In just a short while, the progress bar was more than halfway full, climbing to 56%, and his "rit" also rose to the Middle Level.

"rit (Middle Level): Each ti you gain an Opportunity, your Destiny will increase significantly."

His Destiny accumulated rapidly, which led to him reaping more and more Opportunities. These Opportunities could then be converted back into Destiny, creating a feedback loop where fortune begets fortune, stacking higher and higher.

Speaking of Treasures and Opportunities, he had to ntion the two giant bird eggs he had acquired earlier.

They were an absolutely massive Opportunity.

In the future, he could raise two Human Gu Celestial Eagles. Riding them through the sky as mounts would be quite impressive, and they would also be a great help. An Exotic Beast like that could be cultivated to at least the Middle Fifth Grade.

He had taken one of them himself, and the other he’d snatched from the Cultivators of the Purple Palace Country.

He hadn’t intended to kill them at first. However, upon hearing them conceal the existence of the egg, he chose to act decisively. He trusted his divination; it wouldn’t be wrong. Perhaps they would have unintentionally exposed his whereabouts.

Soon, Lu Mingyuan ca across another corpse.

A middle-aged general with a thick beard.

This appeared to be the Grand General of the Golden Crow Country. Lu Mingyuan only rembered his surna was Yun and that he was a Martial Artist at the Eighth Realm Sea-Viewing Realm. He had originally been tasked with escorting Princess Jinwu, Luo Qiufu, to Great Yan.

He himself had once used a Disguise Pill to assu the man’s appearance and infiltrate Changle Palace.

This was one of the few Middle Fifth Grade experts Lu Mingyuan had seen fall.

Now, however, General Yun was just a corpse lying in a pool of blood. Perhaps because he had completely bled out, his bearded, middle-aged face had grown incredibly pale and cold.

The closer he got to the center, the higher the Cultivation levels of the corpses he saw beca.

Song Haitang, one of the four princes of the Song Dynasty, was also dead. Lu Mingyuan rembered him proposing a toast at a banquet.

The reason he rembered the man was because he’d overheard him saying that the top Courtesan of the Great Yan Brothel was supposedly amazing, and that he absolutely had to go and see for himself if he got the chance.

Now, his head had been more than half-crushed by so Demon, his internal organs devoured, leaving only a bloody, empty shell.

Further on.

Lu Mingyuan detected the aura of a Daoist in a white Daoist Robe from the Thunder Pool Daoist Academy, and he soon found the man’s body.

His strength had not been weak; he was a Qi Cultivator who had condensed a Golden Core.

He had made an appearance during the Demon Slaying Conference and was one of Changle Palace’s combat reserves.

This was the first death of a Middle Fifth Grade Cultivator from Great Yan he had seen on this path.

The corpse was surrounded by a circle of scorched earth hundreds of yards wide. The ground had caved in, and red electrical sparks still crackled in the soil. The signs of battle were heavy, with remnants of Taoist Qi lingering in the air.

It was clear he had put up a desperate struggle before his death.

In the center of that patch of scorched earth, the white-robed Daoist had been reduced to a pile of shattered bone, his Golden Core broken.

"Even a Ninth Realm cultivator has died. Are the other princes still alive?"

Lu Mingyuan muttered to himself, ultimately just shaking his head with a sigh. He then executed a Body Technique and sped off in the direction indicated by his Jade Token.

Since no notification had co, it ant they weren’t dead.

The princes of the various dynasties were certainly high-priority individuals, protected by powerful Cultivators.

The unlucky few who encountered the main army of the Demon Race were simply walking to their deaths.

After all, not everyone was like him, with divination to indicate how to avoid the dangerous routes.

Besides, Lu Yunqing and Lu Guangjing were not weak. Both were at the Eighth Realm and couldn’t be judged by ordinary standards. With the Life-Saving Treasures bestowed upon them by their elders, they wouldn’t necessarily die even if they faced a Ninth Realm opponent.

With these thoughts in mind, Lu Mingyuan quickened his pace. He wondered how Senior Sui Yuqing was faring, and whether he could defeat that Dragon Monarch.

Then, in an instant.

Lu Mingyuan realized sothing in his consciousness: a Shadow Warrior scouting ahead had lost contact. The connection was severed, which imdiately drew his attention.

The Blood Shadow Legion had played a crucial role in scouting the path for him on his journey.
