Now reading: Chapter 540. Ability of Copper Lid (2/2) from The Rich Cultivator, a Fantasy novel by LazyMeow.

"Just like the copper pot and copper ladle, Mana was expecting this to have so sort of power..." Mana muttered thoughtfully, twirling the copper lid in her hands. Its surface shined faintly under the soft light. "Hmm... The copper pot can copy things, the copper ladle can snatch items from afar — and when used together, the ladle can pour things out the pot without interrupting the copying process. So, this copper lid should also have its own ability... and perhaps another one when combined with the pot."

Tyler leaned closer, curiosity lighting up his eyes. "Then let’s experint and find out."

Mana nodded eagerly, a faint sparkle of excitent in her gaze.

The two moved to another room — partly because they had "played well" in the previous one, and partly because the air in that room still carried an odd warmth and awkward sll from earlier battle. The new room was spacious, lined with smooth white stone and glowing runes etched along the walls.

"So," Mana began, floating lazily behind Tyler, her hair rippling like mist in the ambient mana currents, "what should we do first?"

Tyler crossed his arms, thinking aloud. "Hmm... how about copying the copper lid itself?" His tone carried a spark of inspiration, a grin forming on his face. "If the pot can copy other objects, why not one of its own set?"

Mana imdiately puffed her cheeks. "You already tried that with the copper ladle, rember? It didn’t work."

Tyler’s enthusiasm deflated almost instantly. "Oh... right," he muttered, scratching the back of his head. "Obviously, I tried it already huh. This copper pot already breaks the balance of the universal laws. I guess it’s a good thing we can’t make duplicates of sothing like this." He sighed in mock defeat, but his eyes still shone with interest.

"Yeah," Mana agreed, setting the lid down gently on the table. "This one is definitely an unusual treasure. According to Adam — your friend who travels between worlds — this copper pot is actually a Chaos Treasure."

Tyler’s head shot up. "Wait, I have a friend who travels different worlds?"

Mana blinked, then smiled faintly. "You really did lose quite a lot of mories." she said softly. "Yeah, Adam — or at least that’s what he called himself. According to your old mories, his future self even saved you once from a Celestial Immortal in the Space. So, yeah... he can apparently ti travel, too."

Tyler’s mouth fell open. "I have a ti-traveling friend?!"

Mana giggled at his reaction, floating in a small circle around him. "Yup. And apparently, he also carries a Chaos Treasure. And your other friend Dusk also has a Chaos Treasure too. He uses Cards as his weapon, rember?"

Tyler slumped back onto a chair, staring blankly at the ceiling. "I can’t rember. I wonder If I can also travel to different world at will."

Mana landed softly beside him, resting her chin on her hands. "Oh you already did," she said, smirking. "You’ve been to so many places — crossed worlds, fought things normal people couldn’t even imagine. And yet..." she trailed off, looking at the three shining copper artifacts on the floor, "you still find joy in playing with pots and ladles."

Tyler chuckled at that. "Guess even Immortals loves to play with these."

Then he took an apple and gently placed it into the copper pot before sealing it with the lid.

The mont the lid clicked shut, a faint hum seed to vibrate through the air— not from the pot itself, but from Tyler. His expression changed in an instant; his pupils dilated, his lips parted slightly as though he had heard a distant echo only he could perceive. Then he shut his eyes and pressed his palms flat on the copper lid, as if concentrating on sothing intangible.

Mana tilted her head, watching his shifting expressions— first curiosity, then shock, then an odd sort of amusent.

"Stop making faces and just tell what happened already!" she demanded, folding her arms.

Tyler finally opened his eyes, grinning like soone who’d just uncovered a secret. "You’ll see," he said mysteriously, lifting the lid.

Inside lay the sa apple, completely untouched.

Mana leaned forward, unimpressed. Took out a copy of the apple. "The apple looks the sa," she said, pouting slightly.

"Open it," Tyler replied, his tone calm but brimming with confidence.

She narrowed her eyes but obeyed. A faint aura gathered at her fingertip, and with a smooth motion, she sliced the apple neatly in half. The blade of energy was so fine that even the cut surface glead for a second before oxidizing.

Her brows furrowed. "Huh? There are no seeds?"

"Check the original." Tyler said with a knowing smile.

Mana frowned, reaching the copper pot again. This ti she used copper ladle to take out the original apple. It didn’t make copy.

She sliced it open, and this ti, several seeds rolled out from the core.

"It has seeds..." she whispered, eyes widening in realization.

Her curiosity sparked, Mana placed one of the sliced halves— the one with seeds— back into the copper pot and closed it again. She rested her palms on the lid, mirroring what Tyler had done earlier.

Closing her eyes, she extended her senses inward. She could feel the apple’s faint energy signature, the moisture within its flesh, and —most distinctly— the presence of the seeds nestled at its center.

"Mana just wants the seeds..." she murmured softly.

As she focused her will, she imagined pulling only the seeds out— nothing else. Then, with slow precision, she lifted the lid and reached inside without using the ladle.

What she drew out made her eyes widen in awe. The apple that had been taken out was gone, as if it had dissolved into air. Resting in her hand were several tiny, shining seeds—each identical to the ones she’d sensed before.

But that wasn’t all. When she reached in again, she pulled out more— seeds.

Tyler’s grin widened, his voice filled with excitent. "The ability of the Copper Lid is... separation."

Mana blinked, still holding the handful of seeds. "Separation? Yub that’s the correct word."

He nodded eagerly, explaining, "It can divide a thing into its components—and then let us extract only the parts we want. Not just that —the copper can copy only the chosen part, creating identical versions of it at will!"

Mana’s jaw dropped slightly as she looked at the growing pile of seeds in her hand. "So... we can separate, say, the ingredients from a potion? Or the parts from a machine?"

"Exactly, Not sure about the ingredients, I an it’s already got mixed , right?" Tyler said. His tone was calm, but the gleam in his eyes betrayed how fascinated he was.

Mana looked back at the copper pot, awe and mischief mixing in her expression. "This is insane... Do you know what this ans?"

Tyler tilted his head in confusion, "What does it ans?"

"Oh, Mana know exactly what it ans." Mana eyes shined.

---

A few minutes later, a large coffin was placed before Tyler by mana, its surface engraved with layers of glowing arrays. The runes pulsed faintly, preserving whatever lay within. Tyler froze, surprise and unease flickering in his eyes.

"Uh... why is there a coffin here?" he muttered, stepping closer. The air around it grew colder with every step, biting through even his resistance to the chill. When he placed a hand on the lid, a deep dread crawled up his spine, as though he were staring into the heart of the Abyss itself.

He hesitated, then lifted the lid.

Inside rested a man clad in radiant golden armor. The armor shimred faintly, reflecting light like liquid sunlight. The man’s features were noble, serene— even beautiful— but there was sothing unsettling about him, as if he might open his eyes at any mont.

Mana floated nearby, arms crossed. "That guy’s na was... what was that?.... Yeah... Apollo," she said after a pause. "You, Adam, and Dusk fought him in the Abyss and managed to defeat him. You were the one who used Copper Ladle at critical ti and led him to his demise"

Tyler blinked, struggling to recall. "So, I took his corpse? Why would I even do that?"

"This is actually copy of his body. You have more of this Inside your pocket dinsion." Mana said.

"And the reason is the armor he’s wearing," Mana explained, floating closer to the coffin. "It’s bonded to his soul and blood. If his body is destroyed, the armor will vanish with it. It’s called Celestial Armor— sothing even a beginner-level Immortal would struggle to break."

Tyler’s eyes lit up with interest. "A soul-bound armor, huh... impressive."

Then his gaze shifted between the corpse, the golden armor, and the trio of copper artifacts before him— the Pot, the Ladle, and the Lid. His expression turned thoughtful, almost mischievous.

He looked at Apollo again.

Then at the armor.

Then at the copper tools.

And again— body, armor, pot, ladle, lid.

Mana tilted her head and smirked. "Hehehe... Looks like Mana doesn’t need to explain what to do."

Without a word, Tyler picked up the Copper Ladle. He swept it over the coffin. In an instant, Apollo’s body vanished without a trace, drawn into the ladle.

Tyler then placed the ladle directly into the Copper Pot and sealed it with the Lid. The lid adjusted itself automatically, locking perfectly even with the ladle’s handle protruding slightly.

Mana chuckled. "Ok that’s new."

Tyler grinned, eyes gleaming with excitent and ambition.

He looked at the sealed pot one more ti, his grin widening into sothing almost devious. "Now," he said slowly, his voice low but brimming with confidence, "let’s have our own Celestial Armors."

Mana floated beside him, smirking. "Oh, this is going to be fun."
