Using the Emperor’s statue as a shield, Tansy gradually gained the upper hand.
Every ti the giant octopus tried to attack her, she would position the statue between herself and the incoming tentacles. The Titan’s programming imdiately restricted its movents, allowing Tansy to freely attack.
Several Carbonyx arrows had already pierced through its tentacles.
The giant machine was covered in damage.
Just as Tansy was preparing another attack, a huge object suddenly fell from the sky.
Boom!
The impact shook the entire district.
The giant octopus was smashed directly into the ground as the object penetrated through its body.
Dust and debris filled the air.
Even Tansy was startled.
When the dust settled, a familiar shield could be seen sticking out from the giant machine.
Then Rose’s ch climbed out from the hole she had just created.
"Hehehe..."
Rose placed her hands on her waist proudly.
"Looks like I’m just in ti."
Tansy looked at the giant hole in the octopus and then at Rose.
"You fell from the sky."
"I arrived heroically."
"You fell."
"The result is what matters."
Rose looked around the battlefield and imdiately beca excited.
"Now all that’s left are Tyler’s balls. I shall conquer them!"
The mont those words left her mouth, an arrow suddenly flew toward her.
Rose instinctively raised her shield.
Clang!
The arrow bounced away.
She lowered the shield and looked at Tansy in disbelief.
"Sister!"
Tansy calmly lowered her bow.
"Sorry. My hand slipped."
"You aid at my face!"
"My hand slipped very accurately."
Rose opened her mouth.
Then closed it.
Then opened it again.
Before the sisters could continue arguing, both of them suddenly felt a wave of heat.
The battlefield beca unusually bright.
Tansy’s expression imdiately changed.
Rose also noticed sothing wrong.
The two turned around at the sa ti.
High above the Capital, the Golden Palace was shining once more.
A golden beam descended from the sky.
It looked almost like divine light falling from the heavens.
Unfortunately, everyone present knew exactly how dangerous that light was.
"Oh no."
That was all Rose managed to say.
The golden light swept across the battlefield.
The giant octopus disappeared.
The surrounding buildings disappeared.
The debris disappeared.
Even the two chs disappeared completely.
Everything touched by the beam simply vanished.
Inside the hidden flying base, Rose suddenly tumbled out of her synchronization sphere.
"My ch!"
She rolled across the floor before finally stopping.
"My beautiful ch!"
Rose imdiately sat up.
Then she rembered sothing.
"Wait."
"I was about to go play with Tyler’s bal—"
Thud!
Sothing struck her head.
"Ouch!"
Rose grabbed her forehead and turned around angrily.
"Who sneak attacked ?"
A second chicken bone flew through the air.
Thud!
"Ouch!"
This ti Rose quickly found the culprit.
Tansy was standing nearby with a smile on her face.
Unfortunately for Rose, the smile didn’t reach her eyes.
In one hand was a bucket.
A bucket full of chicken bones.
Rose imdiately felt danger.
"Ah..."
Tansy smiled.
Rose took a step back.
"Tansy..."
Another chicken bone appeared in Tansy’s hand.
"Please explain what you were about to say."
Rose imdiately retreated.
"Sister, let’s be reasonable."
Thud!
"Ouch!"
The chicken bone hit her again.
Several nearby crew mbers silently lowered their heads and pretended not to see anything.
The battlefield outside was dangerous.
The battlefield inside the base looked even more dangerous.

Tyler was technically playing with the balls.
Unfortunately, he was also trying very hard not to get killed by them.
The two giant spheres continued rolling through the Capital while firing weapons in every direction. Every surface on their bodies contained cannons, missile launchers, or beam emitters. Several Ember squads had already tried stopping them, but the results weren’t very impressive.
Tyler’s ch hid between ruined buildings while observing their movent patterns.
"They’re fast."
More importantly, they rarely stayed still.
The mont soone got close, dozens of weapons would imdiately lock onto the target. Fortunately, Tyler wasn’t planning a direct fight.
He simply waited.
A few monts later, the two giant spheres crossed paths.
Tyler’s eyes lit up. "Now."
His ch shot forward. The giant spear in his hands transford into a drilling weapon.
Boom!
The spear pierced through the first sphere. Before it could stop, it continued forward and penetrated the second one as well.
One strike.
Two targets.
The giant spheres imdiately began shaking..Large cracks spread across their bodies. Several weapons stopped functioning.
Tyler was just about to celebrate when he felt a familiar sensation.
Scorching heat.
He imdiately looked toward the sky. The Golden Palace had targeted him again.
"Oh."
A golden beam descended. Tyler didn’t even try to dodge..The beam was too fast.nBefore his ch completely disintegrated, he threw the spear with all his strength.
The giant weapon shot through the air.nMonts later, Tyler’s ch vanished.
However, another identical ch imdiately appeared nearby. The new ch caught the spear.
The mont Tyler touched it, the giant weapon rapidly shrank.nThe giant spheres finally stopped moving and crashed into nearby buildings. Their threat was effectively neutralized.
Inside the hidden base, Tyler removed his visor for a mont and looked at the remaining resources.
Then he took out multiple storage cubes and placed it on the drones.
Back at Tyler’s ch, he took out another storage cube.
The mont it opened, countless spears poured out and filled the sky. So were long, so were short, and so looked more like oversized javelins. Under Tyler’s control, the spears began floating around him.
Soon they started moving toward each other.
One spear connected to another.
Then another.
And another.
The process continued until hundreds of spears had fused together into a single giant spear.
The weapon was so large that even the surrounding chs could clearly see it from a distance.
More shocking than its size was the material embedded within it.
Carbonyx.
Every spear contained a chunk of Carbonyx.
Normally, even a tiny fragnt of Carbonyx was considered a strategic resource. A small piece could provide energy for an entire nation for months (not including the capital). The Carbonyx used in Tansy’s arrows was only the size of a fist, yet it was powerful enough to pierce the armor of the Titan machines.
However, the Carbonyx inside Tyler’s giant spear was on a completely different level.
The chunks embedded throughout the weapon were as large as an average person.
There were so many that anyone who understood the value of Carbonyx would feel their heart ache.
Even Ariel, who was watching through the battlefield feed, stared blankly at the screen.
"How much Carbonyx is that?"
Nobody answered.
At this point, calculating the value felt aningless.
Tyler looked at the completed giant spear and nodded in satisfaction.
"This should be enough."
As expected, the Golden Palace reacted the mont Tyler’s giant spear entered its range.
A golden beam descended from the sky and swept toward him. Tyler had already expected it. He threw the giant spear forward with all his strength and was imdiately swallowed by the golden light. His ch disappeared completely. However, before the spear could lose montum, another identical ch appeared further ahead and caught it.
The giant spear continued flying toward the palace.
Another golden beam descended.
The second ch disappeared. A third ch caught the spear. Then a fourth. Then a fifth.
The sa scene repeated over and over. Every ti the Golden Palace destroyed one ch, another appeared further ahead to continue carrying the spear. Tyler didn’t seem to care how many chs were lost. As long as the spear moved closer to the palace, the plan was still working.
Gradually, people across the battlefield began noticing what was happening. So Capital soldiers stopped fighting and looked toward the sky. Ember soldiers also slowed down and followed their gaze. Even the operators inside the Capital Headquarters were staring at the battlefield feed.
"How many chs does Elder Tyler even have?"
"No idea."
"At this point, I’m afraid to know."
Nobody understood what Tyler was trying to do, but everyone could see that the giant spear was getting closer and closer to the Golden Palace.
Finally, it reached the palace.
At that mont, a golden barrier spread out from the palace and covered the entire structure. The barrier looked solid and majestic, making the already impressive palace appear even more untouchable.
Several Ember mbers felt their hearts sink. They had finally reached the palace, only for another defensive layer to appear.
anwhile, Tyler wasn’t surprised at all.
A flying fortress protected by a weapon capable of erasing chs would naturally have defensive asures. If it didn’t have a barrier, Tyler would have found that stranger.
The giant spear collided with the barrier. The entire sky seed to shake. For a mont, both sides froze in place.
Then a crack appeared. Soon dozens of cracks spread across the barrier like a spiderweb.
"It’s breaking!"
Nobody knew who shouted first.
The giant spear continued pushing forward. The barrier trembled violently as more cracks appeared across its surface. Then, with a loud shattering sound, the entire barrier broke apart into countless fragnts of golden light.
The spear didn’t stop. It pierced straight through the palace.
Boom!
A massive surge of energy spread across the Capital.
Street lamps beca several tis brighter than before. Buildings lit up one after another. Electronic devices throughout the city overloaded at the sa ti. So projection screens burst apart, while others filled with sparks before shutting down completely.
Inside the headquarters, warning ssages appeared everywhere.
"Energy overload detected!"
"Power fluctuations across the city!"
"Multiple systems failing!"
Nobody had ti to deal with them. Everyone was looking at the palace.
The giant spear had completely penetrated it. For the first few seconds, nothing happened. Then the palace moved.
At first it was only slightly noticeable. The enormous structure shifted backward..Then it tilted.
Both armies had stopped fighting by now. Thousands of people simply stood there looking upward.
The Golden Palace was slowly descending from the sky.
The speed gradually increased.
The palace tilted further as it lost altitude. Pieces of debris began falling from its underside, scattering across the city below.
Nobody spoke for several monts.
They simply watched.
The magnificent Golden Palace that had overlooked the Capital for countless years was falling.
