When Bai Xifeng finally arrived at the classroom, Ji Yuan had already been standing at the podium, waiting for quite so ti.
"I thought you wanted to skip this theory class today." Ji Yuan said calmly.
His eyes tracked Bai Xifeng as she slumped into the room.

Bai Xifeng clicked her tongue helplessly. She already knew that would be his exact answer. Thus, she could only sit down and endure the tedious theory class quietly. Throughout the lecture, she forcefully held back her overwhelming sleepiness, fighting desperately to stop her eyelids from closing and her head from knocking directly onto the wooden table.
"Let us move to the training grounds for the practical class now." Ji Yuan finally announced, standing up and walking out of the classroom the exact mont the lesson ended.

"Hmm... Good. They can beco your sparring partners for today. However, before that, you still need to receive personal instruction from ." Ji Yuan stated in his usual, unbothered deadpan tone.
"Teacher Ji, you just want an excuse to beat up personally, right?!" Bai Xifeng shouted imdiately, directly exposing his true intentions for all to hear.
Ji Yuan did not even bother answering her accusatory question. Instead, he simply raised his hand calmly, signalling the start of the practical class without another word.
At that exact mont, the Xie Family mbers stepped through the entrance as the heavy gate slowly creaked open. Ning Shoukai had also been dragged along with them. As usual, he had been entirely unwilling to follow the group over here, but Xie Lanying had threatened him rcilessly, warning him to co along unless he preferred to receive a beating from her instead. Left without any other choice, a defeated Ning Shoukai could only reluctantly follow the Xie Family mbers into the Inscriber Division.
The Xie Family mbers admired the beautiful, swaying bamboo forest as they walked through the scenic area. However, before long, a loud explosion echoed from deeper inside the grounds, causing all of them to widen their eyes in surprise. Realising the action had already begun, they quickened their pace before finally erging from the edge of the bamboo forest.

While still airborne, Bai Xifeng rapidly threw out another rune, forcing her flying body to abruptly halt its montum and descend sharply toward the earth. She had activated a gravity manipulation rune to control the forces surrounding her body. Under the sudden influence of the altered gravity, the violent winds could no longer sweep her away.
The mont Ji Yuan saw this clever manoeuvre, he rushed toward her at a frightening, blinding speed, slapping another rune directly onto the ground beneath her feet. Instantly, the earth trembled violently as thick stone walls rose upward, forming a sturdy prison that trapped Bai Xifeng completely inside.
However, Ji Yuan did not stop there. Utilising yet another rune, a massive torrent of water suddenly burst upward from the ground, rapidly filling the stone prison. This was clearly no ordinary water, as countless crackling strands of blue electricity surged violently throughout the liquid.
Bai Xifeng cried out in pain the mont her body made contact with the water. Torrential electric currents rushed through her, electrocuting her rcilessly. The unbearable, agonising shock caused her entire body to tremble violently.
Unable to endure the torture any longer, Bai Xifeng activated her earth elental attribute and punched the stone prison with all her strength. The reinforced walls instantly cracked apart before crumbling into pieces. Water burst outward violently as the prison collapsed, allowing both the torrent and a breathless Bai Xifeng to escape simultaneously.
By the ti she landed back on the solid ground, Bai Xifeng was completely soaked from head to toe, with residual electric currents still running wildly across her skin. She imdiately activated her lightning elental attribute, forcefully discharging the remaining electricity from her body into the air. Only after doing that did she finally let out a deep, exhausted breath.

Bai Xifeng imdiately looked away, avoiding Ji Yuan’s piercing gaze.
"Well... I had no other choice." Bai Xifeng responded awkwardly, scratching her cheek.
Ji Yuan remained silent for several long monts, letting the tension hang in the air before finally speaking again.
"That is correct. If you do nothing, you will die instead. Rember that lesson well." Ji Yuan advised calmly.
"I understand." Bai Xifeng replied, nodding obediently like a model student.
"Well, your friends seem rather excited after watching you get beaten up." Ji Yuan comnted flatly, gesturing toward the edge of the field.
