"Jung Wang, are you mistaken about sothing?" Si Tang asked.

"Where are those assassins?" Si Tang asked.
"Let lead the way." The guard said respectfully.
Si Tang and Bai Xifeng followed the guard to another section of the dungeon. The assassins were also chained to the wall, their conditions no better than Jung Wang’s. When they heard footsteps approaching, they slowly lifted their heads.
Their faces turned pale the mont they saw Bai Xifeng standing behind Si Tang. They could never forget what she had done to their comrade. They did not fear death, but they feared pain. Compared to enduring endless agony, death was a far more rciful option.
"I give you a choice to confess." Si Tang said, pausing briefly before continuing. "If you dare to lie to my face, I will make sure she makes you experience the sa pain."
Hearing this, the assassins trembled uncontrollably.
"I will confess." One of the assassins shouted imdiately.
The others quickly followed his lead, unwilling to take any risks.
"Good. So, tell , who is your master?" Si Tang said.
The assassins revealed everything without holding back. They were indeed i Lijuan’s subordinates. They had received direct orders to kill Bai Xifeng. i Lijuan had discovered that Bai Xifeng was a skilled pharmacist and feared that she would ruin her plan by curing Si Tang’s mother.
