Inside the ditation room in the secret lab, the master of the hidden organization, the one who had sent a few of his elite subordinates to China, no longer showed the amused expression he usually carried. He frowned and sank into deep thought.
There was no arrogance on his face. There was no expression that suggested everything was under control.
At this mont, there was only a solemn atmosphere.
Why was he like this?
It was because of the information he received from his subordinates about what Aldrian and his wives had been doing over the past few days.
They cleared every single one of the hostile SSSS-rank gates and were now about to clear the last SSSS-rank gate in China.
He never imagined they could achieve all of that, because he knew that a few of those gates were, in fact, far stronger than SSSS-rank. He knew that there were beings far beyond that level.
And when he ant far beyond that level, he truly ant it. The gap was not sothing that could be asured by two or three levels, but sothing far greater.
Those beings used a cultivation system and cultivation thods from a god, allowing them to reach such heights.
Even placing SSSS-rank in the sa breath as them would be an insult.
They had always been the biggest factors behind his confidence that it was only a matter of ti before the Earth would fall into their hands. Even though the Earth had been undergoing changes recently, that only delayed sothing inevitable.
The fate of this world was already in their hands!
But the news of Aldrian and his wives clearing those gates forced him to rethink what he needed to do, as well as his assessnt of their true strength.
It seed he had still underestimated them!
For the first ti, he felt genuine anxiety about the future of their plan. With all support from those gates gone, his group would have to work alone to achieve their ultimate goal, and he knew that was an impossible feat.
Not while so many strong hunters on Earth were still alive.
He was still wary of the leader of the China Hunter Association and the Eleven Heroes of Humanity. He did not know how strong they had beco since the end of the apocalypse era, but he knew they were already far stronger than before. Even so, he believed they were still weaker than the beings inside so of those SSSS-rank gates.
Now that another threat had appeared, and one that was even more dangerous than all of them, he had to rethink how he would move forward.
He had already ordered the hell's warriors he sent to China to stand by and cease all activity. He did not want to draw Aldrian's group's attention by making any moves against them.
They were still focused on their own matters, so it was better to let them remain occupied rather than redirect their attention to his secret organization.
The master gritted his teeth in frustration as devil energy leaked from his body. He truly could not think of a way forward under these circumstances. The only option he could co up with was to wait until Aldrian and his wives left Earth.
He slamd the floor in front of him, causing a booming sound to echo through the room, yet the floor remained undamaged.
"Damn it!"
--------------------------------
In the Gobi Desert, there was a base under the Hunter Association, surrounding a blue portal. The base was located far from any civilization, deep within the desert. With such a location, it was not surprising that the only ones who would usually visit this place were hunters from the Hunter Association.
But at this mont, the scene around the base had completely changed.
There were thousands of people setting up camps around the base. Many of them were reporters and journalists, ready to capture the mont Aldrian and his wives arrived.
There were also people from various guilds, ranging from small guilds to major ones. Among them was the Red Moon Guild.
They had arrived a few hours earlier and built their own camp. The one leading the Red Moon Guild here was Wei Zhenhai, the young master of the guild.
Inside the Red Moon Guild's camp, Wei Zhenhai read various articles about Aldrian and his wives on a tablet. His secretary stood not far from him, seemingly in communication with soone.
After a few monts, she closed the communication and looked at Wei Zhenhai.
"It looks like high-ranking figures from the Hunter Association will be coming."
Wei Zhenhai continued looking at the tablet in his hand as he asked,
"Will the leader of the Hunter Association co?"
"We are not sure, but he might. This is a major event, and the gate falls under the Hunter Association's responsibility after all," his secretary replied.
Wei Zhenhai nodded before placing the tablet on the small table in front of him.
"I still find it hard to believe. How could beings from that so-called mysterious inner realm arrive on Earth? Their strength is also absurd." He clicked his tongue.
"With their appearance, people's focus will no longer be on the Red Moon Guild, or even on . Even if I reach beyond SSSS-rank, I will not be the strongest. My dream of becoming the strongest in the world and conquering it will only grow further out of reach."
He looked displeased, yet he understood that there was nothing he could do about it.
His secretary, who knew about his obsession, remained silent. The man before her was soone obsessed with becoming the strongest, soone who wanted the world to tremble beneath his feet.
No, it went beyond that.
He was soone with grand ambitions, and his gaze had already turned toward other worlds.
She did not find it too surprising for him to have such grand, yet arrogant dreams. He was the youngest human to reach SS-rank, and he had the potential to go beyond SSSS-rank in the future.
With his talent and status, he did not limit himself in his ambitions.
"With young master's talent, I believe you can reach the level of those otherworlders soday," she said.
Wei Zhenhai still did not look pleased, and she could only let out a small sigh.
Besides the reporters and the guilds, there were also curious onlookers, as well as fans of Aldrian and his wives. They wanted to witness history being made, to see Aldrian's group clear the gate here and complete the feat of eliminating all hostile SSSS-rank gates on Earth.
While everyone continued their own activities as they waited for Aldrian, a large spaceship descended and landed vertically not far from the base.
The mont people saw the symbol on the spaceship, they imdiately recognized it, though they were not surprised.
"Soone from the Hunter Association headquarters has arrived. I wonder who it is," one of the male reporters said as his caraman already aid the cara at the spaceship.
"Maybe it's the leader of the association himself? Who knows? He rarely appears in public, but this would be the perfect ti. We are talking about the last SSSS-rank gate after all," another reporter nearby replied.
Many turned their attention toward the spaceship as it opened its side hatch. After a few monts, several figures stepped out, and the sight left them shocked.
There were six n and five won.
"They are the Eleven Heroes of Humanity! And all of them are here! This is huge news!" one of the spectators shouted in astonishnt.
"Quick, quick, don't miss the mont!" Many caran imdiately zood in on the eleven figures who had already beco legends of Earth.
"For those still watching this stream, do you see what's behind ? Yes, those are the Eleven Heroes of Humanity in the flesh! They have gathered again after so long! To think we can see them together like this, it's truly a blessing! I wish all of you were here with to witness this directly. Even from afar, I can already feel their powerful aura!" a young man said as he recorded himself with his smart bracelet, millions watching his stream.
"This is massive news. The Eleven Heroes of Humanity gathering here… it seems Master Aldrian's actions are enough to draw even them out to personally witness the clearing of the last SSSS-rank gate!" another strear said excitedly.
No one was surprised that the Eleven Heroes of Humanity were still alive, and that they looked exactly the sa as they had hundreds of years ago.
Having reached such high levels, their lifespans had greatly extended, allowing them to retain their youth.
Even now, the average lifespan of ordinary people without hunter power had risen to at least ninety years, thanks to the heaven and earth energy.
These legendary figures, who had rarely shown themselves over the years, had finally appeared… and all gathered in one place.
But a few questions appeared in the minds of those watching.
Why were these heroes arriving in a China Hunter Association spaceship? They could have used their own private planes from their respective countries, yet here they were, coming together as if they had already reached an agreent.
How was the China Hunter Association able to gather them?
Did the association truly have that much influence, to the point that it could bring the Eleven Heroes together?
But the surprise did not end there.
The Eleven Heroes did not move away from the spaceship. Instead, they stood there, looking back toward the hatch as if waiting for soone.
Then, another figure finally stepped out.
Many hearts trembled.
"That is the leader of the China Hunter Association!"
