The Elder smiled warmly and clapped his hands. At his signal, the music from bone flutes and stringed instrunts shifted into a slower, more haunting lody. The villagers cleared a wide space in the center of the clearing, and several Dark Elf dancers mostly young won and a few lithe warriors stepped forward.

They wore flowing dark garnts embroidered with silver threads that caught the blue glow of the floating motes. Their silver hair was adorned with glowing lichen and small bone ornants that chid softly as they moved.

The dance began slowly.

It was not a simple celebration, but a story told through motion. The dancers moved like shadows given form graceful yet sharp, flowing like liquid night. Their bare feet barely seed to touch the ground as they spun and weaved, arms tracing invisible runes in the air. At tis their movents mimicked battle: sharp strikes, dodging unseen blows, then flowing into elegant arches that resembled prayer or mourning.

Silver threads of light actual threads of mana woven by the older weavers trailed behind them, creating epheral patterns in the air that told the tale of their people: the flight from the surface, the descent into darkness, the long struggle for survival, and now... unexpected salvation.

Azrynn leaned closer to Adam and spoke softly, her voice barely above the music.

"This is the Dance of Eternal Night. It recounts our history... and tonight, it includes new verses about the outsiders who brought hope."

Ignis watched with wide golden eyes, completely srized. Her flas had dimd to gentle embers around her shoulders.

"Woah... they move like living fire, but cold fire," she whispered in awe. "It’s beautiful."

Lilith’s crimson eyes followed every movent with analytical appreciation. A faint smile played on her lips as one of the silver threads brushed close to their table.

"Elegant and deadly," she murmured. "Much like their people."

Isolde remained silent, but her new crimson eyes reflected the swirling lights. The flower on her Crimson Blossom Crown blood a little more, as if resonating with the mana in the air. For a brief mont, her usual guarded expression softened.

Adam felt the subtle pulse of the dance in his chest. The Abyssal Majesty within him stirred faintly, not in threat, but in recognition of the ancient power being honored. His crimson eyes with golden flecks remained fixed on the perforrs.

As the tempo rose, two dancers approached the head table. One extended a hand toward Adam in invitation, while the other bowed deeply to the group. It was not a demand, but an offering, a chance to join the story they were telling.

Azrynn glanced at Adam, a hint of nervousness in her yellow eyes.

"You don’t have to... but it would an a great deal to them."

Ignis imdiately bounced in her seat. "Can I?! I want to dance with the fire-shadow people!"

Lilith placed a gentle but firm hand on Ignis’s shoulder. "Perhaps later, Ignis. Let’s not accidentally burn their sacred dance."

Adam looked at the waiting dancer, then at his companions. A faint smile tugged at the corner of his lips.

"I’ll join," he said calmly.

Ignis cheered loudly. "Yes! Go Adam!"

Lilith’s hand tightened around her wine cup, her crimson eyes narrowing sharply. A faint silver thread flickered around her fingers as she spoke in a low, possessive tone.

"Adam... is that really necessary? You’ve fought all day. You should rest, not dance with strangers."

Her words carried a clear undertone of jealousy, the kind she rarely showed openly but never bothered hiding when it ca to Adam.

Before Adam could respond, Azrynn stood up gracefully. Her yellow eyes sparkled with a mix of gratitude and quiet boldness. She extended her hand toward him, palm up, the silver charms in her braided hair chiming softly.

"Allow ," she said gently but firmly. "It would be an honor to dance with our savior. The people will rember this."

Without waiting for Lilith’s protest, Azrynn stepped forward, took Adam’s hand, and gently but decisively pulled him toward the clearing. Her grip was surprisingly strong for an elf archer.

Adam followed without resistance, his tall humanoid form moving with fluid grace beside her. The villagers let out an excited murmur as the two of them stepped into the circle of dancers.

Lilith froze for a split second, her expression shifting from surprise to barely concealed irritation. The silver threads around her subtly writhed like living things. She had been outmaneuvered cleanly and publicly.

"...Tch," she muttered under her breath, crimson eyes locked on Azrynn’s back with clear displeasure.

Ignis blinked, then grinned mischievously as she leaned toward Lilith.

"Ohh. Soone’s jealous~" she whispered loudly.

"Be quiet, Ignis," Lilith replied through gritted teeth, though her gaze never left Adam and Azrynn.

In the center of the clearing, Azrynn guided Adam through the basic steps of the Dance of Eternal Night. Her movents were light and precise, silver hair flowing like moonlight as she spun. Adam, with his draconic grace and enhanced agility, adapted quickly. His steps were powerful yet controlled, complenting Azrynn’s fluidity perfectly. The silver mana threads from the other dancers began to weave around them, creating a beautiful spiral pattern in the air.

For a mont, Adam allowed himself to relax. The rhythm of the music, the warmth of the bonfire, and the genuine gratitude radiating from the villagers felt strangely grounding after so many battles.

Azrynn looked up at him with a soft smile as they turned together.

"You move like soone who has danced with shadows all his life," she murmured.

Adam gave a quiet chuckle. "Sothing like that."

From the head table, Lilith watched with crossed arms, her Umbral Majesty unconsciously leaking a faint oppressive pressure. The flower on Isolde’s crown pulsed in amusent as the vampire quietly sipped her wine, clearly entertained by the unfolding drama.

The night grew deeper as the Dance of Eternal Night reached its climax. Silver mana threads swirled high into the air like a living aurora before slowly dissolving into glowing sparks that rained gently over the villagers. Applause and cheers erupted throughout the clearing.

Adam and Azrynn returned to the head table amid respectful bows and grateful smiles from the Dark Elves. Azrynn’s cheeks carried a faint flush from the exertion and excitent, while Adam looked as composed as ever, though his crimson eyes seed a little softer.

Lilith was waiting with a perfectly polite yet dangerously sweet smile. The silver threads around her had cald, but the possessive aura she emitted was unmistakable.

"Welco back," she said smoothly, her gaze flicking briefly toward Azrynn. "You two made quite the pair."

Azrynn bowed her head slightly, either unaware or choosing to ignore the tension. "It was an honor. Thank you for indulging us, Adam."

Ignis, half-asleep with a satisfied belly, mumbled drowsily, "Best night..."

Isolde simply smirked behind her cup, clearly enjoying the subtle drama.

As the bonfires began to dim and villagers slowly retreated to their hos, the Elder approached once more.

"Rest well, honored guests. The best guest houses have been prepared for you. Guards are stationed at the temple entrance as promised. Should anything stir, you will be inford imdiately."

Adam nodded. "Thank you, Elder."

The group was led to a cluster of elegant stone-and-wood dwellings built into the cavern wall. Each had soft glowing lichen lamps and thick furs for bedding. Adam took the central house, with Lilith and Ignis sharing the one to his left, and Isolde taking the right.

Late into the night, the village finally fell quiet, save for the occasional distant howl from the Wasteland beyond the barrier.

Adam sat on the edge of his bed, staring at the faint pulse of his status window in his mind. The 20 Skill Points still waited to be used. His body felt heavy with exhaustion, but his mind remained sharp.

A soft knock ca at the door.

Lilith entered without waiting for an answer, her silver-white hair loose and flowing down her back. She closed the door behind her and leaned against it, arms crossed.

"You enjoyed the dance a little too much," she said, voice low. There was no real anger, only that familiar mix of possessiveness and vulnerability she rarely showed others. "That elf... she’s getting bold."

Adam looked up at her, a faint smirk tugging at his lips.

"She’s grateful. And useful as a guide. Nothing more."

Lilith stepped closer, her crimson eyes glowing faintly in the dim light. A few silver threads drifted lazily around her fingers.

"I know. But still..." She paused, then sighed. "Just rember who’s been with you since the depths of the dungeon."

Before Adam could reply, another soft knock sounded. This ti it was Azrynn, carrying a small tray with herbal tea and healing salves.

"I brought sothing to ease the fatigue from the battle and the dance..." she started, then froze slightly when she saw Lilith already inside.

The air grew tense for a mont. Lilith’s smile sharpened.

Azrynn recovered quickly and placed the tray on the table. "I’ll leave it here. Rest well."

As she turned to leave, Lilith’s voice drifted softly, almost playfully dangerous.

"Sweet dreams, guide."
