Adam leaned back slightly on the bed, looking at her with a teasing glint in his crimson-gold eyes.
"...It seems I really do have this charm that makes girls want to get close lately," he said casually, his tone light but full of teasing.
Lilith’s eyes narrowed dangerously. In one swift motion, she stepped forward and pinched Adam’s side right above the ribs.
"Don’t get cocky about it," she hissed, her voice low and filled with possessive warning. "You’ve been mine since you were still a little snake crawling at the bottom of the dungeon. Don’t make remind you in a more... painful way."
Adam winced slightly at the pinch, but the smirk on his face only widened. He gently caught Lilith’s hand, then rubbed the sore spot while looking up at her.
"Aww, Lilith is jealous," he teased softly, his voice low and playful. "It’s cute seeing soone usually so calm and manipulative acting like this."
Lilith’s cheeks flushed with a mix of annoyance and embarrassnt. Her silver threads flared briefly around her before she grabbed the front of Adam’s shirt and pulled him closer with surprising strength.
"You’re so annoying," she muttered, irritated.
Without giving Adam a chance to reply, Lilith yanked him forward and kissed him fiercely. It wasn’t a gentle kiss, it was deep, hungry, and possessive, as if she wanted to mark her claim. Silver threads coiled softly around his back, holding him in place while her lips pressed insistently against his.
Adam returned the kiss with equal intensity, his arms wrapping around her waist and pulling her onto his lap.
After a long, heated mont, Lilith pulled back slightly, breathing a little heavier. Her crimson eyes still burned with a mixture of jealousy and desire.
"Don’t forget," she whispered against his lips, "who has the most right to stand beside you."
Adam smiled faintly, his fingers tracing the line of her jaw.
"I won’t forget."
Lilith’s eyes darkened with satisfaction. She leaned in again, her fingers threading through Adam’s purple hair as their lips t once more. This kiss was slower, deeper, and filled with lingering heat from the earlier tension. Silver threads gently wrapped around them both, pulling her closer until she was fully seated on his lap. Adam’s hand slid up her back, holding her possessively as the kiss intensified.
A soft, needy sound escaped Lilith’s throat —
BANG!
The door burst open without warning.
Ignis stood in the doorway, golden eyes wide and blazing with fiery energy. Her fiery red hair was slightly ssy from sleep, and small flas flickered excitedly around her shoulders.
"Adam!" she started, then froze mid-sentence as she took in the scene: Lilith straddling Adam, their lips still inches apart, silver threads still faintly glowing around them.
A long second of silence passed.
Then Ignis puffed her cheeks, crossing her arms with an indignant huff.
"Hey! It’s my turn now!" she declared loudly, pointing at them. "Lilith is always the one sticking super close to Adam! You’ve been hogging him since the dungeon! Adam promised back in the darkness of the Loom of Fate, when we were facing our reflections that he would make love with too!"
Lilith slowly turned her head, her crimson eyes narrowing into dangerous slits while still sitting on Adam’s lap. The silver threads around her writhed with clear irritation.
"Ignis," she said, voice low and venomous-sweet, "ever heard of knocking?"
Ignis didn’t back down. She stepped inside and closed the door behind her with a determined slam, her golden eyes sparkling with competitive fire.
"Nope! Fair is fair! You got your kiss. Now it’s my turn. Adam, you promised!" She pointed at him, cheeks slightly flushed but full of her usual bold enthusiasm. "I waited patiently during the feast and the dance. I even let you dance with that silver-haired elf!"
Adam rubbed his temple, caught between amusent and mild exasperation. His lips were still tingling from Lilith’s kiss.
"Ignis... timing," he muttered, though a small smirk tugged at the corner of his mouth.
Lilith let out a dangerous chuckle, her fingers tightening on Adam’s shirt.
"Little dragon... you really do have a death wish tonight."
Ignis stood her ground, golden eyes blazing with determination. She crossed her arms tighter, flas flickering brighter around her shoulders.
"I don’t care! I’m not leaving!" she declared stubbornly. "Adam promised . You can’t keep hogging him forever, Lilith!"
Adam let out a low sigh, though his crimson-gold eyes showed a hint of amusent. His hand was still resting on Lilith’s waist.
"She’s right, Lilith," he said calmly, voice low. "I did promise her back in the Loom of Fate. I don’t go back on my word."
Lilith’s expression darkened with possessive irritation. Instead of getting off Adam’s lap, she shifted more comfortably, deliberately pressing closer to him. A sly, dangerous smile curved her lips as she glanced at Ignis.
"Then stay and watch if you want," she purred, her voice dripping with challenge. "I’m not going anywhere. Adam is mine first... and I want to see just how much our little dragon can handle."
Ignis’s golden eyes widened in shock, her cheeks flushing a deep crimson that rivaled her flas.
"W-What?! That’s not fair!" she protested loudly, stomping one foot. "You always do this! You always want to control everything and stay in the middle! I want ti with Adam too alone! Or at least... not with you staring like so creepy spider queen!"
Lilith’s silver threads danced lazily in the air as she chuckled softly, clearly enjoying Ignis’s flustered reaction.
"Creepy spider queen? How rude. I prefer ’elegant observer.’"
Adam rubbed his temple again, caught between the two powerful won. His voice carried a teasing yet authoritative tone.
"Ignis... Lilith... we can figure this out without burning the guest house down."
Ignis puffed her cheeks even more, looking equal parts embarrassed, angry, and eager. She took another step closer to the bed, flas flickering wildly.
"Fine!" Ignis huffed, her golden eyes burning with competitive fire. "If she gets to watch, then I’m starting now!"
