The woman noticed the gazes and gave a slight smile.
Beside her stood a young man, his eyes filled with intense greed.
Across from them sat a middle-aged man, visibly uneasy.
This middle-aged man was the current head of the Ding William family.
His full na was Knock Ding William.
"So, what's going on? Tell in detail."
"Yes, Lord Greed."
Knock lowered his head deeply.
As the head of his family, Knock was usually high and mighty in front of his clan mbers.
But now, in front of these two, Knock didn't dare to put on any airs.

But Knock had never expected that, after the mission was completed, sothing would go so wrong.
Both Gluttony and Sloth had gone missing, presumably dead.
This was beyond anything Knock could handle.
"Lord Gluttony and Lord Sloth, after leaving the Divine Heart Dojo, headed to the vicinity of the Sky Arena."
"Based on what we understand, they seed to be eting with soone."
"That person's na was Kyler."
"This was the personal business of the two lords, so we didn't dare interfere. But after waiting a long ti without any sign of Lord Gluttony and Lord Sloth returning, I sent soone to check."
"They discovered that both lords had disappeared."
"There were signs of a fight at the location."

"However, all data from the surveillance footage was wiped clean."

Greed frowned.
"All the surveillance footage was wiped? Even with eyewitnesses, none of them saw who Gluttony and Sloth were fighting? Couldn't they describe what their opponents looked like?"
"To answer Lord Greed, no, they couldn't."
Knock shook his head and said, "The witnesses didn't see who the two lords were fighting."
"What do you an, they didn't see?" Greed's eyes narrowed.
"Lord Greed, they truly didn't. I've already had my people interrogate them thoroughly. I'm certain they had no connections with the enemy; they wouldn't risk their lives to hide anything."
"Is there any other information?"
"None."
Greed turned, intending to discuss with Lust.
But when he looked back, he realized Lust had slipped away unnoticed.
In a nearby room, two figures were intertwined.
A low murmur sounded. (t/n She works quickly I tell u that...)
Greed heard parts of it, and his face grew cold.
"They're both dead, and you still have the nerve to do this?"
He walked to the room and knocked on the door.
*Bang! Bang! Bang!*
Lust seed displeased but reluctantly stopped, dressed, and opened the door, looking at Greed with icy eyes.
Then, she smiled slyly.
"Care to join?"
Greed stared at her expressionlessly.
"Not interested."
"It's highly likely Gluttony and Sloth are dead. Orders have co down from above: we must quickly find and kill the one who took their lives. We need to discuss this."
After saying this, Greed turned and left.
Lust shrugged, sowhat annoyed, but followed him.
She looked back.
"Wait here, darling. I'll be back to dote on you soon."
The two entered the conference room.
Soon after, Knock walked in.
Greed looked at Lust and said, "According to what Knock told us, it's highly likely Gluttony and Sloth are dead."
"As for their killer, no one saw them, and the surveillance footage was all erased."
"The killer wasn't just one person; it must've been a team."
"The enemy was definitely a Nen user—there's no doubt about that."
"The main question is their ability."
Greed paused, then continued, "I have two theories."
"First, the opponent is a Conjurer or a specialist, who used a conjured Nen beast to fight Gluttony and Sloth. That would explain why ordinary people couldn't see their opponent."
"Normal people can't see Nen beasts."
"Second, the enemy has an invisibility-based Nen ability."
"Third, the enemy has an illusion-based Nen ability."
Lust thought it over.
"If they went through the trouble of deleting surveillance footage, then it's unlikely to be the second option; it's more likely the first or the third. If it's the third, there's nothing for us to worry about."
"If their illusion ability was powerful enough to affect Gluttony and Sloth, the scene wouldn't show signs of a fierce fight."
"So, their illusion ability likely only works on ordinary people."
"But that doesn't really matter."
"They cleaned up the scene so thoroughly that it's hard for us to track them down from that angle."
"Let's approach it by looking at potential enemies."
Lust turned to Knock.
"Knock, does anyone powerful support the Divine Heart Dojo?"
Knock shook his head.
"No, there's no one significant backing that Dojo. The few factions that get along with them aren't capable enough to be a threat to Gluttony and Sloth."
"What about Kyler's side?" Greed asked.
"Lord Greed, I'm not sure about Kyler's situation," Knock replied.
Lust took out a phone.
"I'll contact Kyler's ntor."
She quickly dialled a number.
Soon, a raspy voice answered, and after a brief conversation, Lust hung up.
Greed and Knock looked at Lust, hoping she would reveal so useful information.
Greed was focused on the mission.
Knock, on the other hand, was worried about this implicating the Ding William family.
If the real culprits weren't found, the Ding William family could easily beco the scapegoat.
"Kyler's ntor ntioned that Kyler ca here to look for his daughter. Kyler sought out Gluttony because he ran into so trouble during the search."
"Kyler couldn't handle it alone."
Greed frowned.
"Do we have any information on Kyler's daughter?"
"No, all we know is that she's near Heaven's Arena. Kyler didn't want anyone to know the details," Lust replied, pausing.
"But honestly, I don't think this has much to do with Kyler."
"After all, Kyler's power is limited. How strong could the people causing him trouble be?"
"It's more likely connected to Divine Heart Dojo."
"And also, it might be soone in the shadows watching with ill intent and wanting to get rid of our Underworld Mafia."
Just then, Greed received a ssage and his expression shifted slightly.
"What happened?" Lust asked, looking over.
Greed replied, "I just got word that a hitman website posted a contract on Gluttony and Sloth, and soone completed it. The reward was 2 billion Jenny."
Lust's eyes narrowed.
"A hit?"
"For just 2 billion Jenny?"
"Only 1 billion Jenny per person?"
"They targeted Gluttony and Sloth for such a small bounty?"
"We're worth so little?" Lust scoffed coldly.
