A young girl, about fourteen or fifteen years old, arrived with her maid.
A luxurious horse-drawn carriage was parked near Kaileon’s simple one.
It was clear that the girl was of noble birth, especially since her extravagant dress stood out so much there.
She was beautiful, with pale white skin and blonde hair. Kai didn’t recognize her, but her face looked sowhat familiar to him. As if he had seen her sowhere before.
Before Kai could even ask, the girl suddenly laughed. And it was clear that it was a mocking laugh. Moreover, the maid with her also laughed mockingly, following her young lady’s lead.
"Excuse , but who are you?" Kai asked, confused.
Hearing that, the girl’s expression turned angry.
"How dare you say you don’t recognize ! I’m Laura Maustrine—how could you not recognize ? This is an insult! Your osister said you like , so I ca here to mock you and reject you outright—"
"Shh! Miss, you shouldn’t say things like that... this is supposed to be a secret!"
Kai furrowed his brow, not understanding the strange situation.

Confused and embarrassed, Laura turned around and went back to her horse-drawn carriage.

So Kai ordered a hot coffee—this ti, a butterscotch coffee in a dium-sized cup.
He didn’t forget to buy a cup of instant noodles either. As a side, he bought an egg and so cheese.
Just like at a convenience store, Kai could prepare everything through the supermarket system for just the cost of a small bronze coin.
When the cup of instant noodles appeared in front of Kai, everything was ready to eat.

Back then, as a trained hitman, Kai had to keep himself in top physical condition, so he couldn’t be overweight.
Even though the system urged him to eat more, out of habit, Kai couldn’t help but do the things he usually did when he couldn’t sleep at night. Just like back on Earth.

Kai stepped out of his room—or rather, out of the pavilion.
Since there was a path circling the lake, Kai decided to go for a light jog around it. His plan was to exercise until he felt tired and worked up a light sweat.
Accompanied by Nini floating ahead of him, Kai began jogging along the lake’s path. Besides being a cleaner, the cat-shaped robot could also emit light, illuminating the path.

A simple tool that Kai had mastered; it was very effective because it made no sound when used.
"It’s been a long ti since I threw daggers. Show the way to the firebird monsters; this is pretty good exercise," Kai muttered.
With high enthusiasm, he imdiately walked quickly, following the direction
indicated by his system.
