It’s benefactors and friends—not gangsters or enemies.
He is sotis irritable, sotis shaless, and often leaves her speechless. Yet even so, he is far better than people like Zane Jackson and Lydia Williams, and far better than family mbers like Charlotte Chester and Zuri Ginger.
She’s already indebted to him quite a bit.
As Mia Ginger was lost in thought, the four of them had already reached the restaurant.
After ordering, Mason Sutton glanced at Mia Ginger and asked, "Do you have your SIM card with you?"
"It’s always in the bag."
"Perfect, hand it over and I’ll help you install it." Mason Sutton tapped the table lightly with his finger.
Mia Ginger handed the SIM card to him.
She glanced at Louis Cox sitting across, smiled, and said, "Do you want a beer?"
Louis Cox was taken aback, sowhat flattered.
Before he could respond, Mia Ginger furrowed her brows, ruffled her hair, and said, "You’re driving, better not drink. Just have tea. Safety first."
"Anything you say." A gentle warmth suddenly filled Louis Cox’s eyes.
"Here." Mason Sutton handed the phone to Mia Ginger, "Try it first, see if there’s any problem."
"Okay." Mia Ginger took the phone, "Thanks, Brother Sutton."
"No problem." Mason Sutton smiled faintly, his gaze landing on Maeve’s face opposite him, his eyes bending as he said, "How old are you, little beauty?"
"Five."
"Why aren’t you going to kindergarten?" Mason Sutton raised an eyebrow, speaking to her smilingly.
"I don’t go to kindergarten." Maeve said earnestly, "I have lots of family teachers teaching classes."
"Seems like your mom wants to turn you into a little prodigy."
"Not at all. My mom said I just need to grow up happily." Maeve retorted.
Mason Sutton curled the corners of his lips into a smile and agreed, "That’s right, happiness is the most important. Your mom is truly a philosopher."
"What is a philosopher?" Maeve asked with curiosity.
"Soone who understands a lot of truths."

Mason Sutton cheerfully chatted with her, displaying both patience and friendliness. Maeve’s big eyes blinked for a long ti, and any earlier feelings of disappointnt due to Louis Cox and Mia Ginger were completely swept away.
After finishing the al, the atmosphere among the four of them beca very relaxed.
Mia Ginger also felt a sense of relief.
Seeing Louis Cox leave first carrying the sleepy Maeve, she smiled at Mason Sutton and said, "Thank you, Brother Sutton."
"Thank for what?" Mason Sutton asked curiously.
"I don’t know either." Mia Ginger shrugged, speaking directly, "Just feel like I should thank you, as if you helped out sohow."
Mason Sutton chuckled softly, lowered his eyes to look at her, and said earnestly, "You little girl, you think too much. It’s a good thing to have people like you; it ans you’re good enough. Don’t take it so seriously as if you have a deep grudge, hurting yourself and others, seeking trouble for yourself."
"Okay." Mia Ginger smiled and responded softly.
"Is the dormitory far from here? Do you want to take you inside?" Mason Sutton pondered for a mont and asked.
"No need, thanks."
As Mia Ginger’s voice fell, she waved to him and turned back towards the school gate.
Mason Sutton stood in place watching her walk for a little while, his finger hooked onto the car keys, heading towards the parking area.
Not far away—
Koa Jackson sat in the car, returning.
His long and fair fingers gripped the steering wheel tightly, watching Mason Sutton drive away.
He drove out quite far, at least twenty minutes away.
And then turned back.
He parked the car for a little while, just about to get out and go find Mia Ginger in the school when he saw a few figures in the rearview mirror.
