The noise startled her. She froze for a mont, then quickly squatted down to pick up her things.
As she was picking up, a foot appeared in front of her.
The black leather shoes were shiny and spotless, leading up to black suit trousers and a patch of white.
Mia Ginger tightened her grip on the dicine bottle, didn’t look up, hurriedly packed everything back, zipped up her bag, and stood up.
Koa Jackson gazed down expressionlessly, scrutinizing her.
Mia gingerly bit her lip and hesitated, "Brother Jackson..."
"Why did you co to the hospital today?" Koa Jackson asked coldly.
"To bring you a scarf."
"Mia!" Koa Jackson’s voice suddenly beca harsh, "What did you really co to the hospital for today?"
His face looked stern and severe, his nose slightly red. He wore only a suit with a thin white coat over it, standing at the crowded tro entrance, tall and straight, completely out of place with the surroundings.
Mia pursed her lips and looked at him, saying nothing more.
Koa Jackson directly reached out to take off her hat.
Mia hurriedly raised her hand to hold it tightly, stubbornly refusing to let him touch it.
"Let go!" Koa Jackson stared into her eyes.
"I won’t," Mia remained unmoved, pressing the hat even tighter, her face pale, "Don’t touch my hat."
"I said let go!"
"I said don’t touch my hat!"
"Mia!"
"Brother Jackson!" Mia suddenly broke down, tears instantly fell from her eyes, she cried out, "Don’t, don’t, you mustn’t touch my hat, mustn’t touch!"
Koa Jackson’s fingers holding the hat suddenly stiffened.
He gave her a deep look, then pulled her whole self into his arms.
Mia promptly clung to him, her hand randomly hitting his back twice as she sobbed.
Koa Jackson slightly tilted his head, listening to her voice, his heart shattered.
His arms tightened, embracing her closer, as if this would suppress the waves of pain surging in his chest.
Foolish girl.
He always knew she was silly, but never discovered she could be this foolish.
Worried about what?
Afraid he’d reject her?
Or not wanting him to worry and be anxious because of it?
Can she hide it for a lifeti?
How could she?
What exactly does this girl think about all day long?
Koa Jackson turned his face and brushed his cheek against her hat twice.
He patted her shoulder, helping her to stand up straight.
Mia stared at him blankly, her lips tightly pressed together, eyes red, with the hat on her head, resembling a rabbit a bit.
Koa Jackson reached out to wipe the tears from her face, gently coaxing, "If you don’t want to look, it’s okay. Just co back with , alright?"
"You..." Mia stared at him blankly, hesitatingly asked, "Did you know?"
"Yes." Koa Jackson also slowly cald his mood, speaking with as much peace and naturalness in his tone, "I knew. Why didn’t you tell when sothing happened? Do you know how angry that makes ? Have you ever thought about what position you placed in?"
"I..."
Koa Jackson’s cold hand held her face, looking into her eyes earnestly, "I am your man, your support. You can co to with anything; otherwise, what do you plan to do?"
His hand was cold, but the words he spoke carried a deep warmth.
Mia stared at him blankly, her lips trembling again, almost crying.
"It’s okay." Koa Jackson rubbed her cheek, pulling out a smile to comfort, "No matter what happens, you have ."
