Swish, Mia Ginger’s face turned bright red.
Sitting on the chair, just feeling embarrassed and awkward, footsteps and voices were heard from outside the door.
Koa Jackson and a few doctors just ca in, and when they looked up, they saw this scene.
Mia Ginger was sitting, while Felix Lopez was standing, no one knew what they were talking about, but Mia’s face was completely flushed, her almond eyes sparkling with a shy, watery light.
Koa Jackson frowned and walked up to Mia, asking, "When did you get here?"
"Just now." Mia stood up.
"Hmm." Koa nodded, then said to Felix, "Go to the nurse’s break room and see who’s available to grab a al together."
"Sure thing." Felix replied with a smile, turned around, and exited the room.
Koa sat down on a chair and began packing up his things. Mia looked around and thought to herself that no doubt the white coat looked best on him, couldn’t help feeling a bit of pride, and pursed her lips in a silly smile.
Koa inadvertently looked up and saw this, feeling even more displeased.
What was this girl thinking that made her so happy, was it Felix Lopez?
The hospital assigned him an intern doctor, Felix Lopez, who was twenty-five years old, handso, with a sunny personality, and beca very popular with the young nurses as soon as he arrived.
Could it be... Mia liked being with him too?
Was he getting old?
He couldn’t grasp what this young girl was thinking, and even found himself apprehensive.
Koa’s mind was wandering, so he naturally seed a bit absent-minded until the group left the hospital.
The cool breeze cleared his mind a bit.
"What do you want to eat?" He turned his head to ask the others from his departnt.
"Fish hotpot."
"How about Edasia Restaurant?"
"Dr. Jackson’s treating, so you decide."
"Right."
The group around him gave different answers, Koa glanced at Mia, "What about you?"
"I’m fine with anything, no opinion." Mia said with a faint smile.
"How about Imperial King Mansion?" Koa thought for a mont and asked.
Imperial King Mansion was not far from the Fourth Hospital, just across the intersection and around the corner, taking less than twenty minutes on foot. It was a comprehensive hotel offering fine dining, accommodations, and leisure entertainnt, with an environnt much better than most dining places, quiet and elegant.
Especially today being Friday and with a larger group, Koa naturally wanted to find sowhere with a good ambience.
The others naturally had no objections.
Soon, the group walked to Imperial King Mansion.
Koa reserved a large private room accommodating up to thirty people.
The waiter brought the nu, and Koa gestured to the doctors beside him, "Have a look and decide what to eat?"
"Uh." The middle-aged doctor sitting next to him glanced quickly, then pointed to the nurses on the other side, chuckling, "Ladies first, we don’t mind, not picky."
The waiter then brought the nu to the nurses.
Soone laughed and said, "Dr. Jackson rarely treats, so I’ll help myself."
Koa looked up, "Hmm. Don’t hold back."
The nurse who spoke glanced at the nu, laughingly suggested, "Lotus Shrimp, Red Stewed Shark Fin, Winter lon Barley Duck, Oyster Sauce Chicken Feet..."
Koa Jackson had a reserved personality, didn’t talk much, and though young, was highly skilled in dicine, which initially made him seem distant. Adding to that, the incident with Lia Chester caused quite a stir in the hospital, making female doctors and nurses even more hesitant to approach him.
He remained unperturbed, which to those who didn’t understand him, might seem a bit unsociable.
Now, with a young nurse making the first move to dig deep into his pockets, the dining atmosphere quickly heated up. In no ti, the waiter left with the nu.
