It’s unclear how much ti passed.
Tongtong’s crying gradually subsided.
Mia Ginger pursed her lips, stepped forward, and handed her a tissue.
"Thank you," Tongtong said softly.
"It’s nothing," Mia smiled, sat down next to her, and comforted, "Once you’ve cried, just let it be. Matters of the heart can’t be forced. Tears that aren’t cherished aren’t worth much; no matter how much you cry, they don’t help."
Tongtong was silent for a mont and said helplessly, "You’re really not good at comforting people."
"Hmm," Mia smiled, "I rarely comfort people."
"I really dislike Windsor Myres," Tongtong bit her lip, both aggrieved and angry.
"She can be quite annoying, but she has her charms too. It depends on the perspective. If I were you, I probably wouldn’t like her either," Mia shrugged.
"But she’s your good friend."
"We didn’t beco friends until after a disagreent."
Tongtong looked at her, nodded, then fell into silence again.
As she remained silent, Mia didn’t know what to say, standing beside her, idly looking at the sky.
She even felt a bit hungry.
Suddenly, the phone rang.
Mia was about to answer it when she realized it was Tongtong’s phone ringing.
Tongtong took it out for a glance.
Camden River?
She had Camden River’s number saved but had never called him proactively.
Tongtong answered.
"Tongtong?" Camden River’s voice ca through, a bit hoarse.
"Hmm," Tongtong replied quietly.
"Where are you?" Camden inquired, "I’ll co find you. There’s sothing I want to say to you."
"The playground," Tongtong replied.
"I’ll co over then."
"Hmm."
Tongtong hung up the phone, unsure what she was thinking, staring at the screen for a long ti.
"Camden River?" Mia asked uncertainly.
"Hmm," Tongtong glanced at her, lips pressed together, her big eyes filled with a noticeable relief and happiness.
Mia beca thoughtful.
Roy Anders had told her everything in detail.
She more or less understood Camden River, roughly knowing he’d apologize to Tongtong. After thinking for a mont, she plainly said, "I’ll head back then."
"Hmm," Tongtong nodded.
Mia turned around, exhaled a breath, and walked down the steps.

His mouth still had a slight injury. In April, wearing a long T-shirt and jeans, he looked as clean and upright as ever, yet his clear and handso features carried a hint of barely noticeable fatigue, his eyes bloodshot.
He looked visibly surprised to see Mia and asked, "Were you just with Tongtong?"
"Hmm," Mia nodded, "Just had a brief chat."
"Thanks."
"No need. Honestly, I’m not good at comforting people, didn’t really say much," Mia laughed, thought for a mont, and decided not to say anything, turned, and started walking away.
Camden River turned slightly to watch her leave, then stepped into the playground.
He knew Tongtong liked him; in fact, he’d always known. Tongtong had even shown interest once.

They were from the sa place, had always had an impression of each other.
He just hadn’t paid much attention before, so his impression of her had always stayed very shallow.
Last night, he truly acted impulsively.
His issue with Windsor Myres shouldn’t have involved her.
