Caiden Ward chuckled softly, carrying Maeve Myres out of the classroom and all the way to the parking area.
Maeve Myres and Blair Chester got in the back seat while he closed the car door and got in to drive.
As he lowered his gaze, he noticed a footprint on his suit jacket.
With a helpless sigh, he decided to let it go.
He got on the car.
Soon, he drove the car onto the main road and headed straight ho.
The elder of the Ward Family is a scholarly person and loves tranquility. The mansion is located near the Cloudy Mountain in the Capital Suburb, nestled by the water and far from the comrcial district.
Caiden Ward, being sowhat of an oddball in the Ward Family, was accustod to a dashing lifestyle and feared the elder’s constant nagging. He lived alone most of the ti, and in recent years, he mostly stayed at the Triumph Castle in the priciest district.
The extroverted thrives outside, while the introverted finds peace within.

It was Blair Chester’s first ti visiting, and she was so captivated that her eyes were wide open.
Caiden Ward, carrying Maeve Myres, walked ahead of her, changed his shoes, and headed directly to the dining room.
Blair Chester snapped out of her daze, hurriedly changed her shoes, and followed along.
Dinner was already prepared.
Caiden Ward placed Maeve Myres in a chair. As soon as he received a warm towel from a servant nearby, the little girl twisted her body, slid off the chair, and ran off.
Caiden Ward called out to her irritably.
The little girl turned her head back, confidently stating, "I don’t want to eat dinner. I’ve already had enough of the chicken wings."
"That’s not dinner," Caiden Ward exclaid as he got up to catch her.
Maeve Myres quickly ran to the sofa, climbed up, and tilted her head, saying, "I don’t want to eat, I don’t want to eat. My belly is just this big; after chicken legs and fries, there’s no room for anything else."
"Are you going to listen or not?!" Caiden Ward burst out, frustrated.
"No!" Maeve Myres removed her shoes, climbed onto the back of the sofa, and whimpered, "I want to play with Master."
Master is also a Scottish Collie.
Caiden Ward had two dogs, one male and one female. The male was called Master, and the female was called Lady.
Maeve Myres loved chasing and bullying Master the most.
Caiden Ward just felt a headache coming on and coaxed gently, "Play after dinner."
"No."
"Will you listen at all?"
"No."
"If you don’t listen, I’ll really send you back to the Myres Family."
"Waa!" Maeve Myres pouted her mouth and started crying right away.
Tear drops like beans rolled down from her eyes as she cried out, "I want Uncle and Odin Myres, I don’t want you, boo-hoo!"
"Little ancestor!" Caiden Ward quickly took off his suit jacket, threw it on the sofa, and rushed over to hug her, soothing in a soft tone, "I’m sorry, I’m sorry, uncle was wrong, I’m not going to abandon you, I was just teasing you because you’re being naughty."
"Boo-hoo," Maeve Myres’s tears ca and went quickly, and she sared all her snot on his shirt.
Caiden Ward endured it and looked away.
Maeve Myres cried a couple of tis, her chubby little hands pinched his cheeks, and in a soft tone, she said, "Uncle Ward."
"Mmm." Caiden Ward held her and went back to the dining room.
"I’ll eat dinner."
"Good girl."
"Then after dinner, you help bathe, not Aunt Gia, because she doesn’t tell stories."
Caiden Ward: "..."
He had really beco a twenty-four filial son and babysitter.
