Blair Chester saw how helpless he looked and quickly said, "I’ll help Maeve with her bath later."
"Not you!" Maeve shouted, "I don’t want this sister, she must not give a bath."
"Alright, alright, I’ll help you bathe, okay?" Caiden Ward surrendered imdiately.
"Okay." Maeve broke into a smile amidst her tears, "After the bath, accompany to sleep, continue telling stories. Also, I want our lord, I want our lord to sleep with us."
Caiden Ward: "..."
"Okay, alright?" Maeve pinched his cheek and acted coyly.
"Alright, whatever you say. Can we eat now? I’m starving." Caiden Ward didn’t have the energy to argue with her anymore. After all, arguing would get him nowhere, might as well save so energy.
"I’ll feed you." Maeve tilted her head and smiled, her cheek dimpling.
Caiden Ward could only patiently accept being fed.
Blair Chester couldn’t get a word in.
Watching their interaction, it was nothing but incredible.
The dignified CEO of the Ward Clan Group, the first young master of Cloud Capital with a notorious reputation, had such a side to him, who would believe it?
An unrelated little girl was so adored by him, at ho, she didn’t need to walk at all, leaving footprints all over him, it was fine; wiping snot all over him, that was fine too.
He coaxed her to eat, personally attended her baths, and even accompanied her to sleep.
What does this even amount to?
Blair Chester couldn’t figure it out at all.
But—
Absolutely no one cared what she thought.
Maeve didn’t really like her, so there was no point in her staying.
After dinner, Caiden Ward sent soone to escort her back to campus.
—
After nine in the evening.
Blair Chester finally returned to her dormitory.
Everyone was there, but it was very quiet.
Wren King, Mina Lee, and Tong Tong were all wearing headphones, watching videos. Windsor Myres had already climbed into bed to sleep, and Mia Ginger, as she had done many tis before, just sat at her spot, reading with her headphones on.
Blair Chester didn’t make any commotion, grabbed a towel, and went to the washroom to freshen up.
Mia Ginger noticed her return, instinctively glanced at the ti.
It was already nine fifteen.
Koa Jackson hadn’t called her yet.
It was simply inexplicable.
Wasn’t he just having a al with Louis Cox? Did he really need to get so upset?
He said he wouldn’t talk to her, and he really didn’t.
She felt so wronged.
She hadn’t even had dinner, just kept waiting.
Mia Ginger bit her lip, felt hungry, thought randomly, and left the dormitory with her bag.
The campus was still bustling, but she was in a rather bad mood, left the campus alone, ate randomly, and didn’t want to go back, just stood by the flashing neon street, dazing.
Looking aimlessly, her gaze fell on a store entrance.
In her view, there was an advertisent board introducing calling plan packages.
It was a retail store for selling phones, cards, and paynt services.
Mia Ginger frowned slightly, thought for a mont, then stepped directly inside, spent a few hundred bucks to casually buy a phone, and got a new SIM card.
Koa Jackson won’t talk to her, huh?
Then—
She could pretend to be soone else, see what he’s up to.
Mia Ginger thought this way, directly put the card in, and while heading back to school, texted Koa Jackson, "Dr. Jackson, are you resting?"
Koa Jackson had a surgery in the afternoon.
After the surgery, it was already seven, had dinner, and around nine, returned to his residence.
