She only managed to call out a na, without having a chance to say the next words.
Simon Cadwell had already withdrawn the approachable deanor he had when Nathalie Quinlan was present. His sharp eyes glanced at Mrs. Fisher and her group, his smile faintly pausing as he interrupted her, saying in a deep voice, "Mrs. Fisher, I have matters to attend to, so I won’t chat with you all."
