The light in the hallway was warmly dim, a gentle orange hue.
Nathalie Quinlan walked across the carpeted corridor, yet before reaching room 1606, she saw the man leaning against her door.
She paused in her tracks.
Amadeus Yancey heard the footsteps, simultaneously lifting his head to see Nathalie Quinlan. His eyes seed to be filled with thousands of stars, with an extrely gentle voice: "Nathalie."

Amadeus Yancey approached and naturally took over the thermal container from her hand. Seeing the silver container, he chuckled a bit, asked lowly: "Aunt Cagwin made you soup?"
Nathalie Quinlan had snapped back to herself, watching him glance at the container, replied while walking forward: "She worries I might not eat well at the hotel, insisted on giving a portion of pork ribs soup before I left, for to drink before bedti."
She originally did not want the hassle, but Aunt Cagwin insisted she take it, saying things about supplenting with bone broth will help her injured hand heal faster.
Amadeus Yancey, with an easy deanor, followed behind her, watched as the girl found her room card and opened the door. He followed her in, chuckling softly: "Aunt Cagwin cares about you after all."
Nathalie Quinlan went in and threw the room card onto the cabinet without saying much, pressed softly: "I know."
Thus, she finally carried the thermal container back to the hotel.
Nathalie Quinlan was staying in a suite as well, the room was spacious, well-lit, overall quite nice.
After entering, she walked directly to the refrigerator, opened it, took out a bottle of mineral water to pass it over, and took one for herself while looking at the man following her, saying: "Where is Sadam Vinson and the others? Why haven’t I seen them?"
Amadeus Yancey placed the thermal container on the dining table, taking the mineral water from her hand, the coolness reducing the heat in his palms.
His brows slightly raised, watching the girl as he spoke: "They ca looking for you after arriving, found you weren’t back yet, so they went out to eat."
"Went out to eat?" Nathalie Quinlan struggled to unscrew the cap with one hand, frowned in annoyance at the mineral water in her hand, still unaccustod to having one hand unusable: "You didn’t go with them?"
"I’m not hungry."
Seeing her struggle, Amadeus Yancey took the mineral water from her hand, helped unscrew the cap, then handed it back to Nathalie Quinlan.
Nathalie Quinlan took the water from him, politely said: "Thank you."
She tilted her head up, ready to drink.
Facing her, Amadeus Yancey suddenly asked in a sexy, husky voice: "Do you know Valencia Jett?"
"Cough!"
Nathalie Quinlan choked on a mouthful of water, coughing violently.
"Drink slowly." Amadeus Yancey rely wanted to ask casually, did not expect her such big reaction, a change of color, imdiately went over, gently patted her back to help her breathe smoothly.
Nathalie Quinlan finally caught her breath, but now sowhat troubled, she no longer drank the water, lowered her hand, looked calmly at the man: "Why ask that out of the blue?"
