The social event in Inderia is no different from the one in Beijing.
Both provide a venue for networking and socializing.
Nathalie Quinlan was introduced to a circle of people by Shawn Norton and Master Cadmus, and after making the rounds, she had changed her drink three tis.
Finally, after Nathalie t the last person, Shawn took her to join Master Cadmus and the others.
On their way back, Shawn placed his goblet on the tray of a passing waiter, then turned and casually said to the girl, "Nathalie, did you rember the people I just introduced you to?"
Nathalie nodded with a sowhat indifferent expression, "Mm-hmm."
Seeing the serious look in Shawn’s eyes, she was silent for half a second, and then placed her own goblet on the waiter’s tray, clapped her hands, and put her hands in her pockets, "I rember."
"Mm-hmm. It’s good that you rember!" Shawn looked at her with trust and a profound gaze, "Those people are all from Inderia, and soday they might support you. With them, you might at least form a connection with Inderia."
Nathalie raised her eyelids slightly, her dark eyes clear and bright. She said nothing, which was a tacit acknowledgnt of Shawn’s good intentions, "I know."
"I know you understand more than I do most of the ti, but the connections in Inderia are hard to co by. Given this chance, I still want to introduce you to more people. In the future, if you get a chance to engage with this circle, you won’t be completely unfamiliar with everyone..." Shawn rambled on.
Nathalie mostly listened to him attentively.
Clad in black and sporting a duckbill cap, she looked cold and stylish, making her particularly conspicuous at such a high-end event! Unfortunately, Nathalie kept the brim of her hat pressed low, half her face hidden in the shadow, but the aura around her drew too much attention.

Halfway through their walk, just about to reach Master Cadmus and Stanley Zachmann, Shawn suddenly paused, seeming to have thought of sothing, and turned his head to the girl beside him, "There’s an auction after the social event, see if there’s anything you want to buy."

A scarred man with an invitation letter entered the social event from outside, unlike the others who were going around making connections.
Instead, he found an inconspicuous corner, picked up a glass of water, leaned against the wall, and started observing the surroundings.
"West, Torre is over there." His companion, who ca with him, first spotted their target, nodding his chin in that direction.
"Don’t make it so obvious, be careful not to get caught." Zed Moore reminded, his eyes seemingly casually following his companion’s indication.
He didn’t see Torre.
Halfway through, he got distracted by the girl with the tall, slender back.
The aura around her was too distinctive.
He instantly recognized her as soone he had encountered in the hotel lobby a couple of days ago.
