Amadeus Yancey looked at the caller ID flashing on the phone, suddenly picked it up, and stood up. Tall and with long legs, his 6’1" stature commanded a suffocating yet lax presence wherever he stood.
He excused himself to the group of blonde hair and blue-eyed foreigners sitting across from him in fluent Oxford English, "Sorry, I need to step out to take a call."
Five minutes later, he returned from outside, his eyebrows pressed down low, his face showing no emotion. But Sadam Vinson had known him for many years, growing up together in open-crotch pants, so how could he not notice that Amadeus was in a bad mood? He imdiately frowned and, without waiting for him to sit down, asked in a lowered voice, "What’s wrong? Is there sothing going on?"
If nothing had happened, Amadeus Yancey would never return from a phone call with his entire deanor deflated.
Amadeus rubbed his temples, his handso face sharply contoured with the Yancey Family’s distinctive depth, with facial features too good-looking, described by Sadam as devilishly attractive.
Hearing this, he quickly picked up so items from the table and gave Sadam instructions, "Got a bit of a situation, I have to run back to McKinney. I’ll leave this with you, you try asking. If you really can’t get anything out of them, just drop it, we’ll conduct our own investigation. It’ll just take more ti.

Amadeus Yancey picked up his jacket lying on the side, his wrist adorned with Buddhist beads and a silver bracelet, giving off an unusually charming appearance. He replied casually, "Nothing really, you’ll find out soon enough. When the ti is right, I’ll introduce you."

"Mhm." Amadeus Yancey looked down, playing with the silver bracelet on his wrist, his lips pressed into a thin line, his eyes extrely cold. "Help check what happened in McKinney. How did Nathalie end up at the police station?"
"Eh? Ms. Quinlan is at the police station?!" Alfred Garland sounded even more surprised than him, "Why? How could that be possible?"
Amadeus’s eyes were cold as he said, "I heard she got into a fight."
Alfred Garland: "..."
The voice on the other end of the phone hesitantly asked, "...Did she kill soone?"
Hearing this soul-searching question, Amadeus rarely hesitated for a second, raised his eyebrows, and spoke in a husky voice, "Hm?"
With even less confidence than Amadeus imagined, Alfred whispered earnestly, "Amadeus, Ms. Quinlan didn’t... she didn’t kill that person, did she?"
