Having thought this, he didn’t insist on Nathalie Quinlan accepting the money, so he put down his phone and said, "Alright then. Later I’ll take you to so nearby attractions. Beijing has a lot of fun places that you might not know about since it’s your first ti here. I’ll take you out."

Nathalie Quinlan looked up, her clear black and white eyes examining him, suppressing the impatience of a poor night’s sleep, she humd noncommittally, neither agreeing nor disagreeing.

Sadam Vinson took it as her agreent.

...

Although other people in the private room were chatting, most of their attention was on Nathalie Quinlan and they had overheard the transfer Sadam Vinson sent her, only to have it returned.

A person sitting close to Govert Griffin lowered his voice, edging closer to his ear and whispered, "Sheesh, Mr. Vinson couldn’t have fallen for the little lady, could he?"

You have to admit, the girl was truly beautiful; Caryn ranked among the top beauties in their circle.

But the girl in front of them was even prettier than Caryn.

The epito of allure.

Any man would feel the desire to conquer.

However, Govert Griffin maintained a serious and earnest expression, slapping the man lightly, "Don’t talk nonsense. There are many reasons behind it, definitely not what you’re thinking. Ms. Quinlan... she deserves Mr. Vinson’s regard."

The other man looked surprised, arching an eyebrow skeptically, "Govert, aren’t you exaggerating? She’s just a high school girl from McKinney. Is she really as amazing as you say?"

"Soone of Mr. Vinson’s status, he deems her worthy of his attention?"

Despite his disbelief, Govert Griffin couldn’t be bothered to explain further, simply retorting, "Even if I told you, you wouldn’t understand."

This Ms. Quinlan was not only Amadeus’s sister but also acquainted with the Wilmar family, and had saved Mr. Wilmar’s life just before. The Wilmar family still owed her a favor.

With Sadam Vinson’s attitude clearly indicating he would protect Nathalie Quinlan and these connections supporting her from behind, whoever didn’t value their life would dare provoke her.

...

Nathalie Quinlan hadn’t heard the two n’s conversation and grew a little tired after playing with her phone for a while.

At that mont, Candice Yancey’s phone call ca through, and she got up and walked aside to take it.

"Mmm, I’m not at the hotel..." She glanced around the private room, then dropped her gaze, and casually stuffed her hands into her pockets. Her crimson lips touched, chatting indifferently, "...Rivendell, hanging out with a group of friends."

Sadam Vinson watched her arch a brow, speaking to the person on the other end of the phone, "You’re coming over? Uh, I’m not leaving for now, yeah, alright, I’ll wait for you."

After hanging up the phone, Nathalie Quinlan walked back.

Just as she reached him, she pressed a hand to her forehead, uncertain how to begin, "I have an aunt nearby who heard I’m here and wants to co find ."

Sadam Vinson instinctively thought about reaching for a cigarette to clear his head, but when his eyes t the girl in front of him, he silently withdrew his hand, grasping air instead, "Alright, just tell her to co over. The private room is big; one more person will make things livelier."

"OK." Nathalie Quinlan, holding her phone and not noticing his attempt to reach for a cigarette, said, "Then I’ll send her a ssage."

"The room number is A1869," he said nonchalantly, tilting his chin up slightly, yet considerately telling Nathalie Quinlan the room number.

Nathalie Quinlan sent the room number she had received to Candice Yancey while standing in a casual posture.

Just after she put away her phone, she heard soone say, "Miss, Rivendell isn’t easy to enter for average people, I hope your aunt doesn’t get stopped outside."

Rivendell was a mbers-only private club with extre privacy; he wasn’t speaking idly—ordinary people really couldn’t enter.

Nathalie Quinlan could enter because Sadam Vinson had spoken to the security staff, telling them that if they saw a female high school student coming in, not to stop her.
