She lifted her wrist and the chalk began to scurry across the blackboard.
One line, then another, the girl’s writing was wildly elegant and wickedly clever, yet not untidy. With each stroke and flick, there was a natural flair, wildly so.
Less than five minutes had passed.
The girl put down the chalk in her hand, turned her head, and with a calm expression on her face, she looked at him and said quite politely, "Mr. Ullr, I’m done. Could you check if it’s correct?"
Physics teacher: ...
He didn’t need to check; he had watched the whole process. What she wrote was indeed the correct answer.
Moreover, it was even simpler than the standard answer he had in hand.
"It’s correct." The physics teacher was convinced and turned around to face the students of Class A, saying, "The solution on the board is the correct one. Make sure to copy it down and study this type of problem thoroughly, as it’s very likely to co up in this year’s college entrance exam."
"Alright," ca the unanimous response from below.
He looked at the dozens of eager eyes beneath the lecture platform, understood perfectly, and picked up the textbook; tucking it under his arm, he joked, "I suppose you’re not in the mood to listen to my lecture. With three minutes left until the end of class, I’ll let you all out early. There’s a test next class, so be sure to perform well~!"
"Alright!"
Justin Wafford’s group shouted the loudest.
The physics teacher shook his head with a chuckle and politely greeted Nathalie as he left, "Then I’ll get going, and you make sure they copy down the answer."
"Mhm. Take care, teacher," Nathalie nodded politely.
The physics teacher, in high spirits, humd a tune and left the classroom without looking back.
As soon as he left.
Class A’s students were like wild horses that had thrown off their reins, each one crowding around the lecture platform until it was bursting at the seams.
Excitent and anticipation shone on each face.
Justin Wafford reacted the fastest, staring at the girl who had left the chalk on the platform and grinned, "Nathalie, what brings you to school?"
Nathalie, with one hand in her pocket, lifted her eyes carelessly and said, "Sothing ca up."
"What happened?" Justin Wafford blinked, and quickly added, "Does it have to do with the college recruitnt teachers visiting the school today?"
Nathalie hadn’t planned to hide it from them and nodded, "Pretty much."
Class A was in awe...
Nearly all the first-tier universities had visited, yet to their Nathalie, it was just a casual ’pretty much.’
Jhovany Sullivan was more concerned with sothing else, watching her intently, "So... Nathalie, are you going to attend classes with us this ti?"
This question hit ho for everyone in Class A; their faces were filled with hope, especially wishing for Nathalie to return.
Suddenly confronted by dozens of hopeful eyes, Nathalie raised a hand to her forehead with a hint of a headache and said nonchalantly, "No. I ca to take a leave of absence."

Although everyone knew deep down that Nathalie no longer needed to attend school, hearing her say she had co to take a leave still made their hearts sink with disappointnt.
Jhovany Sullivan’s reaction was quite fast, imdiately saying, "You just got back from Beijing not long ago—taking a break is a good idea..."
Yet she really wanted to sprint through the college entrance exam with Nathalie.
And so did everyone in Class A.
But like Jhovany Sullivan, they were more happy and proud for Nathalie!
Nathalie scanned the faces of her classmates, raised her hand, rubbed her temples, and then said with her usual indifference, "I’ve taken a month off. I’ll return to join you all for the college entrance exam before it takes place."
