Seeing her, Alfred Garland felt awkwardly embarrassed, touched his nose, and sheepishly explained, "The KFC line was so long, I waited for twenty minutes and it still wasn’t my turn. I saw the plane was about to take off and didn’t continue waiting, so I ca over."
He cast a look towards Amadeus Yancey, with an obvious ’Amadeus, are you done chatting with Ms. Quinlan?’ vibe.
Unfortunately, his look received no response.
Nathalie Quinlan, for her part, didn’t mind, pulled down her cap bill revealing a delicately beautiful profile, and said with a wicked air, "If you didn’t get it, that’s fine. There’s always breakfast prepared on the plane."
Amadeus Yancey had booked them first class, and Southern Airlines first class ca with a special breakfast. There was a variety of food, and she had tried it before; the taste was quite good.
"Uh..." Alfred Garland scratched the back of his head, still feeling a bit awkward. He looked up at the man sending them off, and started haltingly, "So Amadeus, should Ms. Quinlan and I go board now?"

Nathalie Quinlan pressed down on her cap bill, under which her face was very eye-catching. She looked back towards the long queue forming at the security checkpoint, and said to the man in front of her, "We really need to go."

He had said that no less than three tis. Nathalie looked up at him, and finally obediently responded, "Yeah, I know. I’ll tell you when I get to Beijing."
With that, without any more fuss, she signaled to Alfred Garland beside her, waved her hand, and left with a cool air, "Let’s go!"
Alfred Garland watched as the girl didn’t even look back.
After a mont’s hesitation, he looked back at the man standing there in a trench coat, looking dashing as ever, bit his teeth, and said to Amadeus Yancey, "Amadeus, I’m heading out now. You should head back soon."
"Go ahead. Take good care of her for ."
"Yeah."
Alfred Garland didn’t need him to say it; he already took it to heart. After exchanging a few more words with him, he jogged to catch up with the girl ahead.
The flight from McKinney to Beijing takes three and a half hours.

At Capital City International Airport, a big group of people were waiting outside the terminal for the flight to land.
Phoebe Hoffman, Wallace Radcliff, and Brian Bonette were all present.
Besides them, there were a few people from The Ninth Institute.
Aside from the three who had t Nathalie Quinlan, the few from The Ninth Institute who ca to pick up had not seen her. They only knew they were there to pick up a doctor who was going to treat Master Cadmus.
The electronic board indicated that the plane would land at the International Airport in ten minutes.
Soone couldn’t hold back their curiosity, "I wonder what kind of person Ms. Quinlan, who’s treating Master Cadmus, is. She must be quite skilled in dicine, right?"
Phoebe Hoffman, who had been standing there with her arms crossed and an indifferent face, sneered when she heard this and spoke scornfully, "Ha, you might as well not get your hopes up. Better to avoid disappointnt when you see her in person."
"Uh... really? Mr. Hoffman, have you t Ms. Quinlan?" the person asked curiously after the surprise.
The scorn on Phoebe Hoffman’s face grew thicker, "t her? Of course, I have."
The few from The Ninth Institute who hadn’t seen Nathalie Quinlan all looked at her with interest.
"What kind of person is Ms. Quinlan?" asked the speaker, who had a crew cut and a square face and exuded a straightforward air; his na was Mario Cagwin.
Phoebe Hoffman half-closed her eyes and looked at him, "You want to know?"
Mario Cagwin was serious and amiable, and imdiately said, "Of course! If she’s soone Amadeus picked to treat Master Cadmus, I’m definitely curious."
