She closed her book, stood up from her seat, handed in her howork to the group leader, and returned to her seat. Then, tilting her head, she nervously spoke to the boy in front of her.
"I just saw B class’s Ghania Quinlan’s lackey tiptoeing to peek at Nathalie’s spot. She must be up to no good again."
Justin Wafford was working on the practice problems Nathalie had given him. Scratching his head, he was still struggling with the physics problem. Hearing her, he put down his pen, leaned back in his seat, turned his head, looked at her in surprise, and asked, "Who are you talking about?"
"Kelly Giovanni."
Jhovany Sullivan had a bad impression of the students from the next class. Whenever she ntioned those who usually hung out with Ghania Quinlan, she couldn’t help but frown.
"I just saw her looking around outside our classroom, as if she was looking for Nathalie. Isn’t she always close with Ghania Quinlan? I’m worried Ghania Quinlan might be targeting Nathalie again."
Just then, Clerent Miller ca over with a question. Upon hearing this, she imdiately frowned and exclaid in annoyance, "Damn, what are they up to now! I’ll go out and ask her what she’s planning!"
"Don’t," Jhovany Sullivan grabbed her quickly, "I saw her going to the teacher’s office, she’s not in class, I don’t know what she’s up to now."
Lately, Clerent Miller had been focusing on her studies. Hearing this, she disdainfully said, "The university entrance exams are nearly here, and she still can’t settle down. She’s nuts. Ghania Quinlan got into Tsinghua University and can afford to slack off, but Kelly needs to buckle down on her studies or she might not even make it into any university."
"It’s her life, who knows what she’s thinking."
"..." Clerent Miller had nothing to say. She turned her head, then suddenly asked the boy next to her with sparkly eyes, "By the way, Justin Wafford, do you know when Nathalie will be back?"
"Pretty soon."
The handso boy didn’t hide anything, willingly sharing his own information.
"I ssaged Nathalie, she said she’ll be back tomorrow."
"Tomorrow?" Clerent Miller was thrilled, "Nathalie’s coming to school tomorrow? That’s great. I have so questions that I’m stuck on, and I can ask her when she’s back."
Nathalie, to those who knew her, appeared aloof to everyone, but after getting to know her, everyone in the class understood that she was just outwardly cold, but actually very nice to everyone.
That’s why otherwise she wouldn’t have stayed up late working on exercise books for everyone.
That’s also why Clerent Miller said that.
Justin Wafford quelled her excitent, "Nathalie said she has to stop by the hospital first to visit Freddy Cagwin’s dad, I don’t know when she’ll co to the school, she might not even co tomorrow."
Clerent Miller shrugged, "Doesn’t matter, once Nathalie is back in McKinney, she’ll eventually co to school."
She was more curious about sothing else.
She looked at Jhovany Sullivan and Justin Wafford.
"By the way, do you two know what is going on between Nathalie and Lighten Chaser?" Her voice could barely contain her excitent, "Nathalie isn’t really Lighten Chaser, is she?"
Justin Wafford hesitated for a mont, his expression uncertain, "I also saw the entertainnt news yesterday. But whether Nathalie is Lighten Chaser, I don’t know, she’s never ntioned it."
"Jhovany, what about you? Do you know?" Clerent Miller turned to look at Jhovany Sullivan.
"I don’t know," Jhovany Sullivan shook her head, giving her a helpless look. As a devastated fan whose idol had let her down, she felt she could accept anything now, "But I think it’s very likely Nathalie is Lighten Chaser! Lighten Chaser plays the Konghou, Nathalie does too, and she was even taken as the last student by Mr. Norton... My baby could easily be Nathalie’s brother, Nathalie is another of my biases, I wouldn’t be surprised at all."
