Clerent Miller giggled and returned to her seat, having forgotten even to ask her question.

Nathalie Quinlan only saw the ssage from Clerent Miller asking if she was Lighten Chaser just before boarding the airplane the next day.
Her eyelids lowered, she was about to reply to Clerent Miller.
A cup of hot coffee was offered in front of her: "It’s cold out, have a cup of coffee to warm up."
She looked up, clashing with soone’s deep gaze, so intense that the corners of her mouth twitched, and she looked away first, slowly pocketing her phone and taking the coffee can from his hand: "Thanks."
She’s quite polite!
Amadeus Yancey’s mouth curled into a smile, pretending not to notice her discomfort, and took the coffee can back from her, saying, "Let help you open it."
Nathalie Quinlan: "..." Then why didn’t you open it before giving it to ?
Though she thought that, she still lazily handed the can back to him.
The man looked down to open the can and handed it back to her, his eyes settling on her once more, noticing her slender nape, he asked again, "Are you cold?"
Alfred Garland, who had bought coffee with him, got a can from Amadeus Yancey as well, warm to the hold, but upon seeing the outstandingly matched couple standing close by, he instantly felt like the hot coffee in his hands lost its aroma!
"Huh?" Nathalie Quinlan took a sip of the hot coffee without thinking and then replied nonchalantly with a delicate frown: "It’s fine, not cold."
Amadeus Yancey said nothing but reached out to hold the girl’s hand, pinching her cool fingertips: "Your fingers are so cold, yet you say you’re not cold."
"..." Nathalie raised her brows, giving him a mischievous look, quite cheeky.
Wasn’t he going a bit too far? Yesterday he confessed, and today, acting as if he was officially on duty, he was continuous with his small gestures.
Amadeus Yancey took off the scarf from around his neck, wrapped it around hers layer by layer, tied it nicely, and then said, "McKinney’s temperature dropped, it will be even colder after landing. Wear it for now to avoid catching a cold."
His scarf carried his warmth, feeling cozy on her neck, seemingly making her not as cold as before.
Nathalie Quinlan let her eyelashes droop, tacitly allowing his gesture and didn’t take off the scarf.
Alfred Garland pursed his lips on the side and gulped down his coffee silently.
Coffee is bitter, not as bitter as a single dog watching a couple display affection!
Just then, the announcent urged their flight to prepare for boarding.
Alfred Garland tossed his can into a nearby bin, walked over, and interrupted his boss’s sweet mont with a hard skin.
"Amadeus, it’s ti to board."
Amadeus Yancey glanced at Alfred, his figure erect and particularly eye-catching in the airport’s waiting hall, a lot of girls sneaking peeks in his direction. He didn’t pay any attention to them, focusing solely on the girl next to him, adjusting her scarf again before looking down and taking her hand, saying, "Let’s go, back to McKinney."

Three hours later, the airplane landed at McKinney Airport.
Soone was there to pick them up.
Nathalie Quinlan didn’t go back to the Villa to drop off her luggage, mainly because she didn’t take much to Beijing in the first place, with not much to unpack, so she told Amadeus Yancey and went straight to City Hospital.
In the wards, Uncle Cagwin was his usual self, perking up a lot when she arrived.
Nathalie Quinlan chatted with him for a while and, seeing his spirits wilt from exhaustion again, stood up to let him rest and went to speak with his attending doctor for an update.
She had just stepped out of City Hospital when she received a phone call from Freddy Cagwin.
"I just saw your ssage, Nathalie, did you land?"
