Leon tapped the side of his cup gently.

’I underestimate her.’ Leon thought.

Truth be told, Leon had actually ssed up.

Glancing at the surface of the red tea, he saw his reflection on it.

Leon Valentine was labeled as a fool by the entire kingdom. Everyone was aware of this. With his continuous activities, and his botherso attempts to approach Rinna, he had made it even worse for himself.

But that was not the issue.

What the current Leon truly overlooked was Veronica Valentine. A calamity-level existence who was sitting right in front of him, sipping tea.

With normal people awakening after the age of three, she was the one who was born awakened. As soone like her, it was naive of him to even think she would not notice it. Soone as capable and influential as her... she would be the first to know.

Veronica saw Leon suddenly smirking with a lunatic, horrible look on his face.

Her eyes widened only a little. She knew that he was capable, and she was aware of his intelligence too. But even so, it amused her to think that this level of intelligence even existed before her.

To her, Leon felt like soone who spoke with a ta narrative, like he was mostly aware of what was happening around the world.

What took Veronica her elite forces to gather national-level intelligence and reports, Leon would reach the sa conclusion with only his deduction.

It was terrifying, yet amusing at the sa ti.

Leon began telling her what he had deduced so far.

He did not rush. He spoke the sa way he always did when he was confident he had pieced together the entire puzzle.

One detail at a ti, he revealed what had truly happened behind the scenes.

During the Tiara Incident, the mont Veronica saw the blast, and the mont she stepped into Tiara, the outco was already set.

After one look at the demon vessel and after seeing the past events through her skill, she began forming her plan. A plan that had been given to her by the Silvermoon Goddess at the exact mont she used that ability.

She saw the Tiara incident as an opportunity.

Veronica realized it was the right ti to execute it. A well-crafted mont that would achieve both her goals.

The first goal was to make Leon reveal his Light. The second goal was to clear the Twilight Order’s na.

Veronica listened to him without interrupting. Her lips curved into a small smile.

"You look oddly confident," she said. "Now tell , why would I save the Twilight Order?"

Leon mimicked her expression and smiled back.

"You had two reasons. The first was because of Princess Eula. You knew she was the person behind that organization all along. You even supported so of their decisions in the past."

Veronica’s smile did not fade.

"Impressive. Go on. What is the second reason?"

"The second reason was personal to you."

Veronica raised her brows slightly. "Oh?"

"There is not much more to add," Leon continued. "You saved yourself. You saved the princess. You saved the Twilight Order. And intentionally or not, you saved . All in one single move."

Myra glanced between the two of them, trying her best to follow even half of what Leon was saying.

Veronica finally placed her cup down.

"You are wrong about one thing," she said.

Leon looked at her and waited.

"I did not save myself," she said. "I only saved you."

Leon blinked once. He did not expect that answer.

Veronica leaned back again, her golden eyes didn’t let his face.

"There were many easier ways to bury Sebastian," she said. "There were easier ways to manage the king. There were easier ways to cover up the vessel incident. But for you, my dear brother, for this one ti, I chose the hardest route. After all, I would be sad if you were to be captured."

Leon noticed her gaze.

Veronica knew everything. She knew the one thing he had overlooked all this ti.

Veronica was aware about the Twilight Order, about Leon joining that organization.

Leon had indeed suspected she might have known about it, but since the ga’s original storyline never ntioned this part, he could only assu.

Leon lowered his eyes to his cup. He took one last sip and placed it down on the glass table before continuing.

"You see," he said, "the entire thing about the explosion and the demon vessel was Sebastian Vallahail’s doing. That part is the only truth in this whole scenario. But... the problem was that he planned to use the Twilight Order as the scapegoat. As a prestigious house, he was among the few who knew the Authority was after the Twilight Order. He thought they were the perfect group to bla. Sebastian wanted their na destroyed."

"Correct," Veronica replied. "But do you have any proof to back your claim?"

Leon obviously did not. That was what Veronica thought.

But he still answered with confidence.

"I do."

Veronica tilted her head. "Hm?"

Leon smiled casually.

"Do not surprise, dear sister. You are only making it obvious. Why don’t you show what you took from Sebastian Vallahail after you killed him, and disguised it as a suicide?"

The mont those words left his mouth, Veronica burst into laughter. She leaned forward and held her stomach, unable to stop herself.

"Hahaha... oh... hahaha... amazing. Truly amazing. Brilliant!"

Her laughter filled the room with warmth and honesty, the kind she rarely allowed anyone but Leon to see.

Hearing both of them talk this way, Myra felt a chill run down her whole body.

Veronica, still laughing, took out a folded tal-slip from her pocket and placed it on the table.

Leon picked it up, unfolded it, and read the single line written on it.

"This is the price for provoking us."

Sebastian had forged it to make it look like a threat from the Twilight Order, sothing that would imply they were behind the incident.

However, Veronica had swapped this tal-slip with the suicide note after killing Sebastian, finalizing her overall plan.

No one would ever guess this happened behind the scenes. She made it look that perfect. No one, except one.

"How much did I get correct, sister?" Leon asked, leaning back and looking at her.

Veronica applauded lightly. "Everything."

Leon smiled, then told Myra to pour him more tea.

After their conversation, they talked even more about the upcoming trial tomorrow that would take place in the royal palace.

According to Veronica, the king would soon call him, and that was where Princess Eula would beco useful. Leon admired her plan.

She had done it perfectly, using a tragic event to her own benefit.

Truly worthy of being called the Tower Head.
