Now reading: Chapter 183: True Spirit from The Villain Is Destined to Die: But as the Creator, I know All Endings, a Fantasy novel by itsron.

Ever wondered what an existence would look like if it could comprehend and process trillions of pieces of information in a matter of milliseconds.

Would such a being drown in questions after understanding everything?

Or would it stop questioning altogether?

Standing right in front of Leon, completely naked, with long frost black hair and pale white eyes, the spirit had just finished comprehending his entire life.

Not only his life in this world, but his past life as Haru Tsukishiro.

From the mont he was born, to the mont he created the worlds with code, to the instant he opened his eyes as Leon Valentine, everything had been laid bare before her in a matter of seconds.

Just like him, she now understood concepts he was familiar with.

Technology, systems, ga design, creation, Everything.

That alone made Leon’s lips tremble into a faint grin.

And hearing his old na spoken in this world still felt strange to his ears for so reason.

He raised his hand to his lips, forcing his breath to steady. After a mont, he lowered it and looked at her expressionless face without flinching.

"A True Spirit," Leon muttered.

She stood close enough that he could feel the cold radiating from her presence. As a creator, he knew exactly what kind of existence was standing before him now.

She did not open her mouth.

Her voice ford directly inside his consciousness.

’I was able to understand most of the information contained within your mories. However, I am unable to comprehend the nature of my own existence.’

Leon remained silent.

’My understanding of this world was limited to what existed within your mories. From them, I gathered references to myself through your conversations with Veronica Valentine and Eula Lunovar.’

Her gaze remained fixed on him.

’I was categorized as a high level spirit. Humans referred to as a True Spirit.’

Leon did not interrupt.

’I was bonded to the First Princess, Charlotte Lunovar. When she was killed, I sacrificed my existence to prevent mory manipulation from affecting her younger sister, Eula Lunovar.’

Her voice remained cald and emotionless even after she described her old bold’s death.

’That act of ’’ from your mories resulted in the loss of my self identity.’

Leon’s fingers tightened slightly.

’I later drifted until I was discovered within your academy. You selected , you resonated with , and you supplied with sufficient mana to awaken.’

She paused for a brief mont.

’I have also processed your intention in awakening .’

Her eyes t him directly.

’As per our resonance and the contract structure you understand, this existence referred to as a True Spirit will now function as your spirit bond.’

Leon couldn’t help but to stare at her face.

’Wow.’

Thinking that, Leon uses his analysis to check her stats.

A translucent window ford silently between them, hovering in the air.

———「Status Window」———

◆ Na: Unnad Spirit

◆ Race: Spirit

◆ Rank: True Spirit

◆ Mana Core: White (★ ☆ ☆ ☆ ☆ ) (Manifesting)

◆ Contract Status: Contracted

◆ Contract Holder: Leon Valentine

◆ Affinity of Origin: Ice

———————————————

Her status window was simple, and exactly what Leon was expecting to see.

Just like humans and other living beings, a humanoid spirit also possesses a mana core.

However, unlike them, whose mana cores require a physical body to exist, a humanoid spirit does not.

Due to their nature of dispersing alongside their contract holder, a humanoid spirit’s mana core remains dispersed when they are not manifested in humanoid form.

And because she absorbs an Elven white mana core completely, Leon guessed she was of at least a white core.

It’s impressive, but for a True spirit it’s considered average.

Well, Leon kind of predicted it, after she saved Eula and sacrificed her identity and most of the powers before resetting.

Leon’s eyes stopped on other information.

’Unnad Spirit, huh?’

As he thought that, he looked at the spirit again. She was not blinking and simply standing there with both hands down.

’What did Charlotte na her again?’ Leon tried to rember.

It was quite the popular na.

’Ah, got it.’

Leon needed to give her a na now. It was not mandatory, but he decided to do it anyway, on his own terms.

"Do you need an identity?" He asked her.

The spirit stared at him.

She blinked once.

Then her voice entered his consciousness again.

’Yes,’ she replied softly. ’It would make communication simpler.’

Leon listened to her explanation in silence.

’Without a na, every exchange requires additional clarification,’ she continued.

’When you address , you would be referring to a concept rather than an individual. That will create unnecessary distance.’

She tilted her head slightly, as if testing the thought itself.

’A na would allow intent to be directed more clearly. For both of us.’

Leon paused.

"...That actually makes sense," he admitted.

After she finished, he nodded slowly.

"...Right," he said after a beat.

Leon rubbed his chin lightly and looked away for a mont.

"Let’s see... a na," he muttered.

Several nas surfaced in his mind.

And also then there was the na she once had. The na Charlotte had given her.

Leon hesitated for only a second.

Giving her a completely new na would be safe. But restoring her old na would create sothing else entirely.

He grinned faintly.

’That would be interesting to see.’

Leon looked back at her.

"You will be called ’Rumi’ from now on."

The spirit processed his words instantly.

’Rumi...’ she repeated, testing it quietly.

She searched through Leon’s mories, then nodded faintly.

’I understand,’ she said.

’That was the na assigned to the previous version of this existence.’

She lifted her gaze slightly.

’Na accepted.’

The status window shimred faintly, and the first line changed.

◆ Na: Rumi

Leon exhaled slowly and then said.

"Welco back, Rumi."

Leon’s gaze dropped before he realized it.

Slowly, from her face to her shoulders, then further down.

Her body was pale white, smooth and unblemished, almost unreal. There was no flaw to be found anywhere. It was the kind of form that would make most n lose their composure instantly.

Leon let out a quiet breath.

"...Haah," he sighed. "Can you wear sothing?"

Rumi followed his gaze. She looked down at herself for a mont, studying her own form as if seeing it for the first ti.

Then her voice entered his mind again.

’I understand. For humans, prolonged exposure to an uncovered body such as this triggers distraction. And for a human of your age, this appearance would likely interfere with your rational thought, elevate biological responses, and redirect focus away from productive activity—’

"Can you put clothes on or not?" Leon cut in calmly, stopping her before she went any further.

Rumi paused.

She tilted her head slightly.

’Yes.’

’Shees... she’s understood way too much.’ Leon waited.

’I can manipulate ambient ice mana and compress clustered frost particles into a stable structure,’ she explained.

’By refining them at a microscopic level, I can form flexible layers that mimic fabric. The structure will remain stable as long as I maintain manifestation.’

Leon blinked once.

"...Great," he said. "Do that."

Rumi nodded.

’I will comply then.’

Suddenly the air around her shimred faintly.

Tiny frost particles gathered from the surrounding mana, drifting toward her body like soft snow.

They layered over her skin, overlapping and settling naturally. The particles fused together, thinning and thickening where they overlapped.

In seconds, the frost shaped itself into simple clothing.

A sleeveless snow white dress ford first, reaching down to her knees. It moved as she moved, smooth and quiet, like real cloth.

Leon nodded in approval.

"Much better," he said. "From now on, whenever you manifest in humanoid form, keep sothing like that on."

Rumi looked at herself once more, then back at him.

’Understood.’

She paused, then added.

’This configuration will be stored as default.’

"And no need repeating every ti you do small things."

Leon leaned back slightly, adjusting his glasses.

’Understood.’

"...Much better now."

Rumi stood silently in front of him, dressed now, her pale frosty eyes looked calm and observant.

Leon watched her for a second longer, then spoke.

"Can you undo the humanoid form?" he asked. "And return to the ring?"

Rumi t his gaze.

’Yes,’ her voice answered inside his mind. ’This manifestation is only temporary.’

"Then do it," Leon said.

She nodded once.

The frost around her body loosened.

Her form began to blur, starting from the edges. Her figure softened, turning translucent as countless frost particles detached from her skin and drifted upward like mist.

Leon felt a faint cold sensation coiled gently around his index finger.

He looked down.

A ring was forming on his finger.

The particles gathered, shaping themselves into a familiar form. The crystal settled itself neatly as the ring finished materializing around his finger.

It was identical to the spirit ring from before.

Leon flexed his fingers once.

He closed his eyes briefly.

Then, without opening his mouth, he focused his thoughts.

’Rumi. Can you hear ?’

There was no delay.

’Yes.’

Leon’s lips curved upward slightly.

"Perfect."

He clenched his fist once, then relaxed it.

"With this," he thought, "I will need to make a few changes to my plans."

Leon walked toward the window and pushed the curtain aside.

Morning light poured in.

Students’ voices echoed faintly across the campus. Laughter, footsteps, casual chatter. A completely ordinary morning, as if nothing had happened.

Leon exhaled slowly.

"Haah..."

He adjusted his glasses.

"First things first," he muttered. "I still have classes."

His gaze lingered outside for a mont longer.

By now, news about him had already spread overnight. There was no doubt about that.

Leon smiled faintly.
