Walter Vance looked utterly exhausted, and Jenna Shaw couldn’t help but feel a pang of sympathy.

Naomi Kenway had already called over a sales associate. "Bag these shoes for ." She pointed to a few other pairs. "These are nice too. They’d look great on Jenna. Bag them all up for ."

After giving her instructions, Naomi Kenway handed over a black card.

Jenna Shaw linked her arm affectionately with Naomi Kenway’s. "Thank you, sister-in-law."

"It’s nothing, Jenna..." Naomi Kenway said earnestly, "Whether you’re picking clothes or choosing shoes, what matters is that you’re happy. You should be dressing to please yourself."

Naomi Kenway sighed but decided not to say any more. So things were best left unsaid.

The private room was a cacophony of noise, the table covered with all kinds of drinks.

The door to the private room opened, and an innocent-looking woman in a business suit walked in. It was Walter Vance’s personal secretary.

Clentine Coleman finally couldn’t take it anymore. She walked up to Naomi, her high pigtails bouncing with every step.

Her young assistant plugged the fan back in. "I heard Clentine Coleman and Renee Jennings are pretty close. Renee has co to visit her on set many tis."

Naomi Kenway thought for a mont, then nodded.

Renee Jennings ca to visit the set as usual. Clentine Coleman was the person Nathaniel had repeatedly instructed her to take good care of, saying she must ensure the "young miss" had a good ti.

"She’s just so beautiful. When I stare at her face, I can barely bring myself to do anything..." Clentine Coleman said with a dreamy look. She was a total sucker for a pretty face.

Renee Jennings fell silent again. After a long mont, she said, "Clentine, you can’t be fooled by Naomi Kenway’s appearance. She’s an extrely malicious person. She’s always using her family’s money to steal roles from other artists, and she oppresses and exploits her own assistant."
