Third Person POV

Skellige.

...

...

They were hitting each other — the only sane ones in the place. While performing unbelievable moves, both flipped from side to side, even in mid-air, countering each other's attacks even while airborne, always seeming to predict where the blows would co from in a way no one else could.

No one knew how long the fight had been going on. No one else seed to care anymore, while the wood clashed with full force, the sound echoing through the arena. It looked as if everything was about to be destroyed — but it wasn't. Sohow, their swords were being protected by two distinct energies that kept them from breaking.

And the fight continued for a while like a choreography no one there could say they had ever seen — almost a dance between that couple.

If anyone had been asked, minutes earlier, whether soone could fight like that, they would have laughed.

The arena had been silent at the beginning, except for the fight happening in its center. Everyone had been excited to see the girl who had defeated every challenger who dared face her — and then, in the next mont, she was challenged by her husband, leaving everyone thrilled and stunned, especially after he made an entrance no one expected — jumping like a Nekkers, only many tis higher, flipping like never seen before, and landing as if the jump was nothing.

Everyone stood with their mouths open.

But what ca next scared them even more. As the other began with small, fast movents, they were enough to prevent the girl from fully dodging and playing with her opponent like she'd done before. That alone shocked everyone, seeing there was finally soone who could match her.

Everyone was wondering who that couple was. Derek, in particular, was fascinated by the two strangers.

As the fight began to escalate in speed, it beca clear the girl hadn't even used much of her sword skills against her previous opponents. That left everyone increasingly stunned, until the fight reached a point where they started hitting each other non-stop.

People were so thrilled they forgot to breathe in the next mont. For about five minutes, Madara and Ciri kept attacking each other relentlessly, as if their bodies didn't tire, as if they were used to that frenetic rhythm of combat.

"Am I seeing things?!."

"Are they monsters or sothing?"

"By the giant's beard! Where did these monsters co from?!"

The fight went on for a while longer, without either of them using special abilities — except for strengthening their weapons in the arena — while they seed to be enjoying themselves.

The girl began to laugh, and Madara gave a small smile as they kept fighting. It was a normal training pace between them, so it wasn't a big deal — the only difference was having a larger audience.

However, that sa audience wasn't exactly prepared for what they were seeing in front of them.

The fight finally ca to an end when both stepped back, with Ciri spinning her body and Madara doing a backflip, stopping a few ters apart, Ciri displaying a smile. Madara nodded, satisfied, before looking around the arena and seeing that everyone was watching them in silence.

"I think we'll stop here. If we keep going, these people might have a ltdown." Madara said.

Ciri agreed, as they finally lowered their weapons.

"You only did this to break my winning streak in the arena, didn't you?" Ciri said as he approached her, sheathing his sword and giving her a kiss, pulling her close by the waist.

"We can't stand out too much here." Madara said in a more serious tone.

"I think you're right." She replied, giving him another kiss in the end.

An explosion of screams took over the arena as everyone applauded, not really understanding what they had just witnessed.

"How are we going to get out of here? They're definitely not going to make it easy!" Ciri asked, looking at everyone as if seeing sothing unique in their lives. "Everyone in the city must already know about us by now."

"You teleport straight to the square. I'll get Derek." Madara said seriously, as he began walking toward where they had co from.

"GOODBYE EVERYONE! THAT WAS REALLY FUN, I HOPE TO CO BACK HERE MORE OFTEN! AND MY NA IS CIRI!" Ciri shouted to everyone excitedly. Suddenly, she vanished, disappearing in front of everyone around her in an erald glow before fading.

That was enough to throw the crowd into an uproar. Madara simply jumped back into the arena, with only a few managing to see him leap from that height. He landed beside Derek, who was a bit startled by it.

"What are you doing?" the boy mumbled, before Madara grabbed him and the basket of corn cookies, jumping once again, heading toward the city as the boy scread, stunned.

Madara landed softly on the ground without the real danger of dying like Derek was acting. Even so, the boy looked at Madara in fright.

"Are you human, my lord?" he exclaid, while Madara just snorted.

"As far as I know, I'm human. Let's go see Ciri." he said and headed for the square, while the boy nodded quickly. It didn't take long to find Ciri standing there while so people whispered to her, calling her a witch — she must have made an entrance like the one she did leaving the arena.

Ciri smiled.

"Finally you've arrived for the next adventure on the island. But first, let's deal with sothing I'd like to do before we leave here." Madara said, and Ciri looked a little confused, while the boy's gaze went straight to Madara, who noticed the Uchiha staring at him in return.

"You ntioned that your mother can't walk, that she was injured, right?" Madara asked calmly.

The boy nodded, though he didn't know where Madara was going with that.

"You saw that Ciri disappeared from the arena after glowing, right?" Madara asked, still calmly.

The boy nodded quickly, not taking his eyes off Ciri as he admired her once again, while the girl showed a proud smile.

"Would you believe that we're magical?" she asked with a playful tone, and the boy nodded again.

"But... magical people don't fight like that." he comnted, still confused.

He had never seen anyone fight like that, didn't even know it was possible to fight that way: face to face, striking each other frantically, flipping and doing strange moves that he knew no one there could ever perform.

"Not even normal people fight like that." Ciri laughed, and Madara continued.

"If I told you I could heal your mother, would you believe ?" Madara asked again, making the boy open his eyes as wide as he could.

"You can do that, sir?" he murmured, incredulous, as Madara nodded.

"I can do it, yes. Why don't you take us to your ho?"

"Yes!" the boy jumped excitedly before stopping for a mont. "My grandma says I shouldn't trust strangers... But I know you and the lady are kind." he said innocently and quickly started walking toward a corner of the city.

Madara and Ciri followed the boy, as she turned her gaze to Madara.

"You're better with kids than I thought, Madara." she said with a certain admiration.

"You think so?" Madara scoffed.

"Of course! And here I was thinking I'd have to deal with all our children alone." she laughed.

"Why would you think that?" he said, sounding a bit grumpy.

"Maybe because you didn't quite handle the feelings of a certain princess well when you were young." she retorted.

"You needed to grow. Your destiny is dangerous... and grand. We should get down quickly." he said, and she didn't argue with that statent.

"But I like what you're doing, Madara. It's very noble of you to do this after hearing that the boy's mother is bedridden." she said, keeping that initial admiration for the Uchiha.

They kept walking past the houses, moving toward one of the poorer neighborhoods of the city, where there were no shops, only children playing here and there, and n scaling fish or so kind of food, while eyeing them suspiciously.

"This is my house! Co on in! I'll tell Grandma!" Derek said excitedly, as he ran into a simple house with hardly any yard.

Madara and Ciri were approaching when a slightly old woman ca out the door, staring at them with an unfriendly face.

"Tell , are you here to trick my grandson? Too pretty to be from Skellige... Still, you're foreigners... I don't like foreigners." she muttered.

"We're just about to leave. The boy ntioned your daughter is hurt. I can heal her. I'm a healer." Madara lied.

"That's suspicious... Can I really trust them, Derek?" the woman asked the child, looking at him with suspicion.

"Yes, Grandma! They gave a gold coin and bought all the cookies!" he replied cheerfully.

"Oh, really? Well, then they're smart." the woman murmured. "Our cookies are very nutritious and make your muscles grow fast!" she said proudly. Madara didn't say anything — it was the sa line the boy had used when they first t.

"That's good... Co here. I want to see if you're really a sorcerer, healer, or sothing like that. But... what do you want in return?" she suddenly asked, stopping them and preventing them from entering.

"We don't want anything," Madara simply said.

"Impossible. Nothing is free. Tell what you want." she insisted.

"Can't we do sothing for free?" Ciri asked from the side, dissatisfied.

"That's too suspicious." the woman muttered.

"You're right to think that. But it won't hurt to let us take a look, will it? It's not like we're here to do any harm to you." Madara said calmly.

The woman seed thoughtful for a mont and finally nodded.

"Alright... I'll trust you." she said and let them in for the first ti.

On the bed, in an isolated room, there was a woman lying down, a bit sweaty, while both her legs were positioned at odd angles. She looked at the movent and found it strange to see her mother coming in with her son and two other people behind.

"Hello, Rose. Derek brought these strangers to take a look at you."

"Derek, what are you doing?" the woman asked her son.

"He said he could help you. I believe him." Derek said, pointing at Madara, while the mother nodded.

"Who are you, sir? Why are you doing this?" Rose asked with a hint of caution.

This ti, Madara approached her leg, touching it.

"I'm Madara... Now your legs... they were broken and healed over ti without being set properly for a correct recovery. That's why they never healed." Madara quickly analyzed the situation, touching the area as he checked it using dical ninjutsu to identify the problem.

Everyone saw Madara's hand glow in a strange green.

"You... can save her?" the boy asked hopefully.

"Yes. But I'll need to break her legs again." Madara said, startling the boy and the woman. There were wounds on both legs.

"You can do that?" Derek asked innocently, while the rest of the family gasped in shock.

"I can." Madara said. "I'll do it right now."

"Wait, sir!" the woman tried to protest, but Madara simply raised one finger and touched her forehead.

"Sleep a little." That made her faint.

"Both legs are broken." he murmured, beginning to apply dical ninjutsu as the grandmother watched, distressed, seeing him working on her daughter's body.

In the next mont, he broke one of the legs, setting it straight, and quickly applied dical ninjutsu based on Mokuton regeneration — he had already applied a numbing ointnt.

The green energy surged into the injury at the woman's dislocated leg, and the bone quickly aligned into the correct position. Finishing one leg, he moved to the other — without the woman feeling a thing. He broke the second leg, adjusted it into place, and began healing, finishing the procedure and leaving everything perfectly fine, before tapping her forehead again.

The woman was a bit dazed for a mont and looked around, seeing her son holding onto her.

"Mommy, you're awake!" he said, while she looked confused, recalling a few mories of the pain she used to endure. Maybe she had believed that would be her fate — until, suddenly, she started moving her legs, feeling them for the first ti in years.

"How is this possible?" she murmured, in disbelief.

"Mommy, you're healed! Thanks to them!" the boy pointed, turning his head — but there was no longer any sign of Madara or Ciri inside the house.

Only the grandmother remained there, frozen in place, shocked, watching her daughter begin to get up after so long, her legs perfectly healed.

Madara and Ciri were already heading to the tavern where they had left the animals, still within the city.
