From a distance, it looked as if the lion had been spying on the rmaid for a long ti.
Following that, Su Yan instructed the tray,
"Go fetch another portion."
Her hoarse voice dropped, only to see the rmaid gently shake her head, sighing,
"Never mind."
Su Yan looked up,
"What’s wrong?"
The rmaid lifted her head, looking frail,
"I’m injured and need a lot of food to replenish my strength."
He spoke obscurely.
But the aning was clear.
One plate?
Not enough!
Su Yan stretched out her fleshy paw, struggling to count with her fingers,
"Two plates?"
The Little rmaid stayed silent, head lowered.
"Five plates?"
The rmaid still said nothing.
"Fifteen plates?"
The rmaid slightly lifted her head, looking towards Su Yan.
Su Yan, fumbling with her fingers, finally lost count.
She scratched at her golden fur, very seriously,
"However much you need to eat, I’ll prepare it for you."
Upon hearing this, the rmaid seed to cheer up a bit, his white teeth gleaming in a smile so radiant it sent ripples through the heart.
Then, with a light tone and a hint of curiosity, he asked,
"How much do you weigh?"
Su Yan hesitated,
"Uh... 300 pounds."
Thinking of the weight she had just asured herself at this morning.
She rasped the words out.
The Little rmaid nodded, appearing even happier,
"Hmm, I don’t have a big appetite; it would take two als to finish eating you."
Upon hearing this, Su Yan lowered her head and started counting on her fingers again.
She didn’t see the gleam that flashed under the Little rmaid’s dark green eyes.
Uh... Is this the amount one would eat... like a newborn calf?
Su Yan turned to look at the tray floating in midair,
"150 pounds of food, for her to eat."
The little tray trembled, then hastily made its escape.
An adult cow weighs roughly 800 pounds.
Uh... If this little beauty eats twice a day, each al 150 pounds... uh... does this an... it’s finished in three days??
And so, for the next seven days,
One would see the impressive array of food being brought tray by tray to the Little rmaid’s side.
Without ever stopping.
The Little rmaid, with knife and fork, remained graceful.
She ate thodically and slowly, yet she consud food rapidly, one couldn’t tell how she managed it, finishing a al within an hour and a half.
Su Yan sat in her castle’s room, opening the curtains which just so happened to overlook the riverbank.
She watched the colossal procession of food being served below.
Little Red, with her enormous head, bumped against the glass, pressing hard against it, as if she wanted to shatter the barrier and jump down.
"Hiss hiss hiss hiss hiss!!"
So wanting to eat, so wanting to eat~~
Su Yan patted Little Red,
"You need to go on a diet."
Saying that, she pointed to a cart full of small carrots, small cucumbers, small tomatoes next to her.
"Eating vegetarian for a few days will be better for your health."
"Chh chh chh chh chh chh!"
Yes, indeed, you’ve gotten too fat.
Gu King, nearly invisible atop Little Red’s head, spoke out.
Perhaps it was the camaraderie developed across several planes.
Even if they couldn’t understand each other’s languages, in the dark space, they could still feel the presence of another living creature alongside.
So, ever since the two were able to communicate, they had ford an emotional bond in the shortest ti.
Becoming allies to help and support each other.
And atop Little Red’s head had beco Gu King’s most frequent hangout spot.
In this way, it made animal conversations more convenient, right?
Hearing Gu King siding with Su Yan, Little Red slowly shuffled her body and eventually, her head still ended up on the pile of food.
Munching down the carrots one bite at a ti.
