Chapter 1951: Chapter 1951: Don’t Worry, It Won’t Happen
“Sigh, I really can’t figure out what’s on a young girl’s mind.” Luo Ziling muttered helplessly, rubbing the black-and-blue mark on his hand left by Dai Shulan, while watching her run happily into the girls’ dormitory. “Could it be true that n have to beco very bad for won to like them? Are won’s hearts even more perverse than n’s?”
After seeing Dai Shulan enter the girls’ dormitory, Luo Ziling finally left, preparing to return to his dorm to sleep.
It was a bit late, and afraid of encountering trouble on the way back, Luo Ziling didn’t plan to return to Ling Ruonan’s villa after escorting Dai Shulan to her dormitory.
When he returned to his dormitory, it was just past eleven o’clock at night.
At this hour, surprisingly all three of his roommates were still awake, chatting and boasting there.
As soon as Luo Ziling opened the door and entered, the three guys stopped talking, looking at him dumbfounded.
“Damn, Boss, why are you back?” Cao Jianhui, the quickest to respond, bounced up from his bunk bed and leapt over to hug Luo Ziling. “How co you weren’t snatched into the bed by so beauty tonight?”
“Or did a beauty kick you out of her bed, and you ca back to the dorm to escape in embarrassnt?” Wu Longjiang also jumped to Luo Ziling’s side, speaking lecherously, “Do you need us to help you?”
“Go, go, go,” Luo Ziling kicked each of them and impatiently said, “You guys are students of Yan University; how can you be so unprincipled? Always talking about pretty campus belles, don’t you have a bit of Yan University student elegance? Believe it or not, I’ll expose your words and deeds on Weibo to let the whole country know what kind of things you are.”
“Boss, please don’t,” Cao Jianhui hurriedly begged for rcy, “we’re just joking, aren’t we? Seeing you grace our little nest, we’re thrilled. Ha ha, it’s a good thing you ca back late; if you’d returned an hour earlier, our dorm might have been packed with guests by now.”
“Right, Boss, you have to co back frequently; otherwise, the number of senior and junior girls visiting our dorm will get less and less,” Li Fuming pleaded with an exaggeratedly mournful face, “As long as they hear you’re back, those pretty sisters and juniors swarm in like bees.”
Luo Ziling laughed and scolded, “You just have lustful hearts, don’t study well, just think about won, is that proper?”
“Tch,” Cao Jianhui looked at him with disdain, “the one who deserves the most disdain is you. Look at you, without any camaraderie, eating well on your own, ignoring our suffering as starving wolves; you know so many pretty sisters yet don’t often take us to join the fun.”
“Yeah, yeah,” Wu Longjiang chid in with a shared enemy attitude, “you need to be severely criticized.”
After so fuss, Cao Jianhui then seriously asked Luo Ziling, “Boss, has the comrcial finished shooting?”
“It should be done. You can ask Yuqing; I’ve been busy with other things and haven’t paid much attention.”
“Oh, that’s such a sha,” Cao Jianhui said, feeling vexed, “I wanted to get so face ti on cara.”
“There will be opportunities in the future. If you want to act, I’ll make sure you get the chance to play so extras; there’s always a role for you.”
The three guys cheered at once.
At this ti, Luo Ziling’s phone rang, and seeing it was Wuyue calling, Luo Ziling quickly gestured for silence and went to the bathroom to answer the call.
“Young Master, Chen Yijing visited Chen Jiahu at the detention center tonight. According to the police, Chen Jiahu told Chen Yijing a lot of things, including about you,” Wuyue said, sounding calm, though a bit anxious, “Do we need to do sothing?”
“No worries,” Luo Ziling didn’t take it seriously, “They’ll find out eventually, I’m waiting for them to co forward.”
Wuyue was a bit speechless at Luo Ziling’s words.
Thinking for a mont, he then said, “What if the Chen family accuses us of illegal detention, how do we face that?”
“That’s not sothing we need to worry about; the Ling Family will handle it,” Luo Ziling answered Wuyue’s question, then asked, “Has Chen Jiahu been released? I an, has the Chen family bailed him out?”
Wuyue imdiately replied to Luo Ziling’s question, “Chen Yijing wanted to take Chen Jiahu away, but the police refused. He Jianmiao personally intervened, saying that until the case was clarified, no suspects can be bailed. Seeing the police’s firm attitude, Chen Yijing had to leave. Our people followed him; he didn’t go anywhere else, just went straight ho.”
“Then don’t worry about them, just keep a close watch on developnts. The conference opens tomorrow; I think they are busy attending etings and won’t be distracted by these matters. Chen Jiahu seems destined to stay in the detention center for a few days. By the way, he has already been formally criminally detained, right?”
“The prosecutor’s office is involved, along with multiple departnts, so it’s a situation of mutual restraint; whoever plans to pressure with power will find it not so easy.”
“I see,” Luo Ziling didn’t say more and hung up the phone.
After hanging up, Luo Ziling began to wash up, preparing to sleep.
The other three guys sensed his serious expression and sensibly did not disturb him. After a few jokes, they too went to sleep.
Luo Ziling sent a ssage to Luo Yuqing, asking him to post a ssage on Weibo.
“Would a prince be held to the sa law as a commoner?”
Luo Ziling only asked him to post this sentence. Luo Yuqing was a bit surprised but ultimately didn’t refuse and sent it out.
Once posted, it imdiately drew a crowd and heated discussion.
Many people curiously comnted, asking what “prince” had broken the law. Most people expressed that in today’s legal society, anyone who breaks the law should be punished severely and not be given preferential treatnt.
Of course, more people left comnts asking Luo Ziling what had happened; wondering if so well-connected elite had bullied Luo Ziling.
After Luo Ziling asked Luo Yuqing to post on Weibo, he let the public debate go wild.
“Did you have Yuqing post that?” Yang Qingyin sent a ssage shortly after.
“Yes, just to tease the public’s nerves!”
“Are you going to announce the issue on Weibo?”
Luo Ziling thought about it and then replied to Yang Qingyin, “Let’s see how things develop. If they turn the issue on , I don’t mind airing so matters online. I think the Chen family doesn’t want to see such situations brewing online during the conference.”
“What if they block your Weibo?” Yang Qingyin raised another question.
“They won’t; I have people supporting ,” Luo Ziling grinned and quickly added, “I haven’t helped your grandfather with treatnt for a few days; how about tomorrow my grandfather and I go to see him?”
“Okay,” Yang Qingyin readily agreed.
