Chapter 1950: Chapter 1950: Teasing

When I arrived at the coffee shop called “Midnight Point,” Dai Shulan was already there.

Sitting with her, drinking coffee, was a sowhat unkempt middle-aged man.

Maybe Dai Shulan was too beautiful, and the man kept sneaking glances at her while chatting.

As Luo Ziling pushed the door open, he saw this rather sleazy man sneaking a look at Dai Shulan.

When Luo Ziling ca in, he successfully startled the sleazy man.

Dai Shulan stood up with a smile to greet him and introduced the two of them.

“This is the national heartthrob with a legendary life, Luo Ziling. He’s a student at our Yan University, my junior.” After introducing Luo Ziling, Dai Shulan introduced the other man, “This is Xia Liuhui, the number one urban web novel writer, and his urban novels are legendary with every publication.”

“Looks like the na fits the person,” Luo Ziling smiled and extended his hand to Xia Liuhui, “It must have taken so courage to choose such a pen na!”

Luo Ziling’s handsoness and his naturally noble aura successfully intimidated Xia Liuhui. He awkwardly extended his hand, gave Luo Ziling a light handshake, and imdiately let go. “Hello, my real na is Qi Xia, Xia Liuhui is my pseudonym. I used it to attract online readers’ attention.”

“These days, many people call him Mr. Pervert!” Dai Shulan laughed and teased.

Xia Liuhui’s face turned a bit red, being teased by a pretty lady left him uncomfortable.

“Let’s sit down and talk,” Luo Ziling took the dominant position right after entering, gesturing like a host, “I’ve heard several people say you’re looking for urban novel material. This beautiful author directly told she could bring you over for a chat. We have the opportunity today, let’s have a good talk!”

Speaking of novel writing, Xia Liuhui imdiately perked up and asked Luo Ziling, “Have you read my novels?”

“I’ve read them, but not all the way through,” Luo Ziling answered, not lying and honestly confessed, “I really like your writing style, humorous and delightful, very true to life. Unlike other web novels, which just brag and step on others, significantly departing from reality. I’ll read all your novels in the future.”

“Thanks for your support, Mr. Luo,” Xia Liuhui was a bit moved, “If you like, feel free to support my book, tipping for a league master would be no issue, Silver League or Gold League would be even better.”

“Pfft,” Dai Shulan couldn’t help but burst into laughter.

Luo Ziling, however, was utterly baffled.

Dai Shulan quickly suppressed her laughter and explained, “Web novel sites have a tipping feature. A thousand bucks, that’s a hundred thousand book coins, will earn you a league master fan title. Ten thousand for a Silver League, and a hundred thousand bucks for a Gold League. Xia Liuhui has several Gold and Silver Leagues.”

“Woah, isn’t that just for rich fools?” Luo Ziling was taken aback, “Spending a hundred thousand just to read a book…”

Xia Liuhui was visibly embarrassed, while Dai Shulan laughed even harder.

“That’s the fan’s enthusiasm!” Dai Shulan chuckled and said, “If your Weibo had a tipping feature, I’m sure many fans of yours would be willing to spend that money. There are lots of rich people, and so just want to attract attention and gain a bit of fa.”

“Still, the essence stays the sa, there are a lot of rich fools around.” Luo Ziling solemnly stated and then said to Xia Liuhui and Dai Shulan, “If I get a chance, I’ll help you guys promote it on Weibo. I’m sure many fans will pay attention to you because of my advertisent.”

“That would be great,” Dai Shulan cheered at once, “If ten thousand fans pay for the read, maybe I could sign a platinum contract.”

Luo Ziling had no idea what a platinum contract was, but he didn’t ask.

Then, Luo Ziling and Xia Liuhui exchanged quite a few views on the aspects of novel plotting.

After listening to Luo Ziling’s introduction and Dai Shulan’s supplent, Xia Liuhui beca very interested in Luo Ziling’s story.

“It seems that reality is always more exciting than novels. Many protagonists of web novels don’t have such a life full of ups and downs as yours. I’m really interested in writing a novel based on you, Mr. Luo. If you authorize to create on your the, my next book will be about you.”

“No problem,” Luo Ziling agreed happily, “But it would be best to highlight my achievents in traditional dicine.”

“Sure,” Xia Liuhui pondered, “How about we call it ‘Young Doctor’? What do you think?”

“Sounds good!” Luo Ziling nodded, “When you start creating, let know. When it begins serialization, you need to give a heads up. I’ll promote it on Weibo; I’m sure the ad will be more effective than the recomndations your website offers.”

“Thank you very much,” Xia Liuhui was overjoyed.

“But there’s one thing we must agree on: in the future, all copyright operations of this book have to be handed over to us. I will let soone contact your website about this.” Luo Ziling said this, pointing to Dai Shulan, “Her copyright is managed by us, and the film adaptation will soon start shooting.”

Xia Liuhui was aware of this, so after hearing Luo Ziling say this, he simply nodded without further comnt.

After a while, Xia Liuhui got up to say goodbye and left first.

The booth was left with only Luo Ziling and Dai Shulan.

“Coming out and not spending so ti alone with a beauty would really be a waste,” seeing Dai Shulan in high spirits, Luo Ziling couldn’t help making a few cheeky remarks, “Today, my rare outing, shouldn’t you give so benefit?”

Dai Shulan blushed imdiately; she misunderstood Luo Ziling’s intention.

However, she didn’t dislike Luo Ziling’s teasing; instead, she found it exciting, with a heart-thumping feeling.

Seeing Dai Shulan’s blushing face, Luo Ziling’s playful urge grew stronger, and he leaned his head closer to her face with a mischievous look and said, “What, you don’t want to?”

“What kind of benefit do you want?” Dai Shulan’s voice was as soft as a mosquito’s buzz.

“What do you think?” Luo Ziling lifted his head, giving Dai Shulan an even more significant glance as her face got redder, “Is there any need for to say it when the question is so obvious?”

Dai Shulan’s heart raced even more. She thought, could it be Luo Ziling is demanding compensation, wanting her body?

She disliked such an exchange but seed reluctant to reject it.

Thinking of Luo Ziling’s handso face and towering figure, her heart fluttered like a deer.

At this mont, Luo Ziling continued, “Why not sing a tune? I know you sing well, a dance will also do; let feast my eyes! Surely, you can offer this little benefit, right?”

“Ah?!” Dai Shulan didn’t expect the benefit Luo Ziling wanted to be this and was once again stunned.

Seeing Dai Shulan like this, Luo Ziling couldn’t help but give her a tap on the head, “Modern girls, truly unpredictable.”

As a result, Dai Shulan was furious out of indignation.
