As Eris charged forward, Amaterasu t her with the sa charge, and the two clashed with their chest hard enough to shake the ground. Each of them weighed half as much as the mortal sun, and they were now trying to wrestle each other down.
With a swift move, Eris grabbed Amaterasu by the mawashi and tried to throw her down, but even with both hands, she couldn't move her an inch. It was absurd for soone to easily resist the raw strength of a divine, but of course, this was Amaterasu.
"Keeping your center of gravity low is important. I'm leaning down toward your chest, and actively moving my center of gravity toward you so you can't lift up." Amaterasu reached down and grabbed Eris by the belt, "You swing like this."
Then, with a single move, Amaterasu flipped Eris and was about to smack her to the ground face-first, but Eris was anything but normal. She had fought Arad many tis and had at least learned to be as violent and rabid as he was. She clenched her fist and swung at the ground before she could hit it with her face.
The ground shattered, and from Eris's punch and cushioned her fall, and the dust cloud resulting from that served as a good veil to hide her from Amaterasu. There weren't that many people who would think of doing sothing so absurd beside Arad, and Amaterasu couldn't help but smile as she jumped away from the dust cloud.
"Arad is influencing you a lot." Amaterasu looked around for Eris. In this fight, she had limited her power a lot so she won't just out-stat Eris, and her senses were one of the things she dulled a lot. At least for now, Eris and Amaterasu were of equal power.
A hand burst from the ground and grabbed Amaterasu by the ankle. "He is my husband after all." Eris easily lifted Amaterasu up and was about to smack her on the ground. And that is what Eris did, swinging Amaterasu at the ground with all of her might, going in with the will to kill her.
At that mont, with how fast Eris swung her, and with how heavy Amaterasu was, her body instantly burst into flas like a teor as she hit the ground, and ignited a titanic explosion. From the impact, the ground had evaporated, the area around them had shattered, and Eris flew away with a worried face.
The impact had felt off, it was too soft.
Then, from the fire and ash, Amaterasu rushed out unhard, and Eris couldn't help but gasp. "Aren't you cheating?"
In the blink of an eye, Amaterasu had grabbed Eris by the face and was flying away with her. "The mont my body was about to hit the ground, I relaxed it to the utmost limit, and allowed it to bounce back while transferring most of the kinetic energy to the ground."
Eris growled as she grabbed Amaterasu's wrist and tried to hit her in the chest with an open palm, only for the attack to get easily tanked without the goddess flinching. She tried to hit her several more tis, but all attacks failed.
"If you're aiming for my heart or lungs, sorry, but that won't work. My chest is soft enough to cushion the impact. But it might work on Arad, who has hard muscles." Amaterasu lifted her hand and smacked Eris in the stomach, sending her flying to the ground.
This ti, Eris landed on her feet with a growl, feeling her spine almost crashing and her organs almost tearing apart inside her.
"There are two types of sumo, ancient and modern. What I am teaching you is the ancient variant." Amaterasu landed in front of Eris with a smile, and swung her foot forward.
"Anything goes, even kicks." What looked like a regular straight kick was not. Amaterasu kicked her with her toes, pointing forward, her sharp nails ready to tear both flesh and bones. Eris barely managed to dodge the kick at the last mont, but was still left with a cut across her side.
That move looked like sothing Mathilde would pull off, which only told Eris that she should expect the sa level of kicking proficiency from Amaterasu. ^For real? Anything goes with her, doesn't it?^
Eris lifted her right arm up and swung it down, aiming a hamr punch at Amaterasu's knee. The hit connected, and Amaterasu's foot was violently hamred down, but her knee didn't shatter. Amaterasu used the montum of Eris's attack to spin around and throw a deadly back kick at her face.
The kick hit Eris square in the face and sent her rolling backward. But thanks to her massive weight, she quickly managed to plant her feet back in the ground and stop. As she lifted her head, she could see Amaterasu already flying toward her with an axe kick.
"Weren't we supposed to be pushing and throwing each other down?" Eris growled, and Amaterasu imdiately replied with a smile. "Arad isn't that soft. Stick to a single style, and he'll rip you to shreds before you know it."
Amaterasu was right; fighting Arad with a single style would've spelled Eris's loss. He was a monster that's good at adapting and changing his style to match whoever he is fighting, so sticking to one move set would make it too easy for him to counter. And that is only considering his first form.
If Eris wanted to legitimately defeat Arad, then she should be ready to get ganged up on by all of his incarnations. He would also have several phases that she has to push through before winning. First, his human form, half dragon, dragon, Draconic pricolici, and then whatever destruction form he has.
As Amaterasu's foot ca crashing down on Eris's head, she braced herself for the impact, but instead, felt nothing at first. Amaterasu's foot didn't directly hit her head, but instead, she grabbed her hair with her toes.
^Shit!^ Eris gasped as Amaterasu pulled her head, down, and she could see the knee coming straight toward her nose. With a loud crunch, blood splashed everywhere.
Amaterasu jumped back, then looked down. A chunk was missing out of her knee.
"Good, you're getting the hang of it. I'm teaching you sumo to learn how to use your weight, but that doesn't an you don't have to use other thods to fight." Eris walked out of the dusk with a face covered with blood as she crunched down on what she bit from Amaterasu's knee.
"It isn't as dense or sweet as I expected." She spoke while still munching.
"Of course, this body is severely weakened. Your teeth would've shattered if you tried to bite at my full power." Amaterasu healed her knee and stood there with a smile. "Rember that both you and Arad are monsters; one wrong move, and one of you would bite the other's face off."
Eris stood still as Amaterasu's blood burned and evaporated off her skin. "Indeed, we're both dragons, we're both vampires. One of us is a goddess, the other is a god-slaying dragon. Who of us do you think will win?"
Amaterasu shrugged as she waved one hand. "You outclass him in stats; he outclasses you in skill. I say it is fifty-fifty, but never drop your guard." She smiled, "Arad had faced creatures far stronger than you, and he never fell down without a fight."
Eris smiled as she slowly went down into a deep squat with both of her legs wide open. She extended two fists forward, and plasma burned beneath her feet. "I want to test my trump card; can you take it?"
"If I, Amaterasu, can't, then who else?" She extended one foot forward and took a defensive stance. "Show what you're made from. Divine Goddess of murder, bringer of discourse and bloodshed."
Two massive purple butterfly wings of plasma burned behind Eris's back, and her eyes flashed. [Unholy Death Butterfly]
It was then that Eris, for the first ti, turned into a true nightmarish monster, a horror that even puts abominations to sha.
