"It’s the consequence they deserve for their evil deeds," the other Knight said calmly.
"You’re stubborn; it’s only because the Night Watchers won the war and now have significant power that we have to obey them."
The Knight holding onto principles was displeased: "Shouldn’t we obey? What does war have to do with these suffering civilians? Senseless killing should be banned. Are the Night Watchers’ rules in this regard wrong?"
"Don’t be upset, I didn’t say the rules were wrong; I just said we’re obeying because the Night Watchers are strong."
