First, he looked at Shalika and asked, "Which city are you planning to head to first?"
After all, Shalika’s purpose was to establish a comrce association for the Night Watchers, and Shalika herself was the leader of such an association.
Not to ntion, she had been away from the comrce association for a while, and reclaiming control would clearly require so ti and ans.
"Golden Wheat City is where the Pointer Trading Company is located, and it’s also my hotown.
Thin Sand Port has a branch, which is where the association previously planned to expand," Shalika explained.
Kana looked at the map, recalling information about these two locations in his mind.
After pondering, he directly said, "Then Shalika, you take the [Comrce Association] people along with a squad of [Night Patrol] back to Golden Wheat City to regain control of the Pointer Trading Company and establish a firm foothold."
Shalika nodded.
Kana continued to look at the map and said, "George, send two squads of [Night Patrol] to Thin Sand Port and initiate operations there."
"Send two squads to the Royal Capital as well. Have them lay low for the ti being, waiting for us to arrive later."
Once Kana had made the arrangents, everyone got into action.
The reason for initially selecting these few cities was due to so important NPCs and resources that needed to be collected in these cities.
After all, the storyline of the ga had already been significantly impacted by Kana, and many things were no longer precise.
Only when the Night Watchers reached their respective cities to understand the local situation could Kana plan the next steps based on the known conditions.
The next day.
In the morning.
The mont Kana and his team had just woken up and were about to head out,
a Holy Knight rode up to their resting place.
This Holy Knight was none other than Anita, one of the Guard Knights familiar to them.
"Anita?" Alyris asked with so confusion.
Anita nodded and said urgently, "Her Highness the Saintess needs help; all Night Watchers are required to assist. I’ve co to deliver the ssage."
Kana nodded.
He imdiately led his team to mount their Land Birds, quickly following Anita.
This ti, Anita led them straight out of the city.
Passing by the refugee camp, they went straight along the country path,
until they arrived at a village far from the city.
By this ti, the village had turned into ruins burned to ashes.
Only thick smoke remained, occasionally drifting into the sky.
Surrounding the village, the Saintess and Lawrence stood with a substantial number of soldiers.
Kana and his team walked over.
The major fire in the village had mostly been extinguished, with only sporadic areas still smoldering.
So soldiers moved through the burned village, attempting to see if any survivors might be found.
In front of the Saintess lay several charred corpses.
These were bodies found among the ruins.
"What happened here?" Kana asked.
Alicia glanced at him and said directly, "As you can see, burned by an intense fire, which only went out a short while ago.
No one knows what happened here, and we are searching to see if there might be any survivors."
"Cultists, or bandits?" Lawrence asked.
If it were the cultists, he couldn’t distinguish among them.
Alicia shook her head, "It’s impossible to know right now."
At this point, Kana directly said, "Go and take a look."
George gestured backward.
A squad of [Night Patrol] stepped forward.
The captain nodded to Kana.
With his people, he ventured directly into the ruins.
Seeing this move, Alicia and Lawrence both fell silent, watching the Night Watchers attentively.
Lawrence was curious about the composition of the Night Watchers, as well as their capabilities.
Alicia was curious about what changes the Night Watchers had undergone today, almost a year later.
