A day later, the Jackal Wolfman Leader Bryan led over a thousand gray-haired Jackal Wolfn to the Mountain Stream Territory.
The Dragon Nest steward Shiji ca forward to arrange for them.
Because Leader Bryan had beco a servant, many of the lesser Jackal Wolfn had already had morable encounters with the Dragon Nest Monster Warriors.
Thus, the entire process of integration was peaceful and smooth.
Everyday life cald down again, and while the Dragon Nest influence was steadily growing stronger, they were slowly exploring and expanding further northward.
During this period, they encountered many dangerous demons or small monster clans.
The encountered demons were killed, while most of the scattered small monster clans were accepted. The monster clans that could survive near the inner area of the Dark Forest either possessed so special abilities or had considerable strength.
After accepting them, they were granted thin Dragon Blood, allowing them to kill and devour with this weak Dragon Vein Power.
In this process, the weak would perish, while the strong would grow savagely, then be granted more Dragon Blood, making their potential stronger, then continue to kill and devour to gain more, thereby enhancing their strength faster and faster....
The strong remain strong.
Three months later, winter arrived, snowflakes began to fall.
Overnight, the Dark Forest was covered in a blanket of snow.
The evil beings that were previously active beca increasingly difficult to find.
Yet, those with ice attributes began to erge in large numbers from unknown places.
In a corner of the Wilderness Plains, south of the Dark Forest, a human village was covered under the all-encompassing snow.
Outside the village, a column of cavalry escorted dozens of carriages forward.
"We finally made it." The cavalry commander looked at the village in view, and imdiately felt a sense of relief.
The cargo was too precious this ti, forcing him to stay on edge throughout the journey, afraid that sothing might happen.
"Speed up, to Rest in Lang Village." The cavalry commander shouted to the hundred-man team behind him.
As the team approached Lang Village, soone from the village already knew the news and awaited them outside.
"Haha, Wilson, you finally made it, the goods are safe, right?"
Standing at the entrance of Lang Village was a young mage in a purple magic robe, with several fully ard warriors behind him. These warriors were generally over two ters tall, covered almost entirely in black armor except for their eyes.
The cavalry commander, also known as Wilson, smiled and nodded to the young mage, "Uncle Wit, the goods are very safe, you can rest assured with leading the team."
The young mage, Wit, who ca to welco the cavalry team, was the main person in charge of the transactions between the Higlind family and the Dragon Nest.
The transactions between the two parties resud shortly after the end of the border war.
"With you leading the team, I am naturally assured. Alright, let’s enter the village to rest a bit, have a strong drink to warm up." Wit nodded approvingly, showing a friendly attitude towards Wilson.
Wilson was the youngest son of the family head Roy. Although naturally talented, at twenty-two he had beco a mid-level professional, yet there was a significant gap in status between him and Wit. Wit was a Level 7 Mage, whose status was no lower than that of an ordinary Ninth-level Warrior, and his prestige in the Higlind family was also quite high.
But ever since Roy beca a follower of Udi and brought back Dragon Blood from the Dragon Nest, his dozens of sons and hundreds of grandsons, except for the too young and those too untalented, suddenly beca geniuses in just over a year, their strength rapidly advancing, with different changes happening every month.
Wilson was the most outstanding among them. Originally quite gifted, he went through Dragon Blood Transformation, family support, and his own diligent cultivation. Now his swordsman professional level had advanced from Tier Five High to Tier Seven Initial, and his biological level had broken through from Level 3 to Tier Six High. His overall strength had more than quintupled, making him a high-level force within the Higlind family.
A column of cavalry escorted dozens of carriages into Lang Village in single file. Lang Village was one of two territories allocated to the Higlind family by the Thorn Duke according to rit after the wasteland war, the other being a newly established town still in developnt.
Wilson let the hundred cavalry escorting the goods and several dozen drivers rest in houses, while he and Uncle Wit went to the middle of the convoy, in front of an unassuming carriage.
Wilson lifted the carriage curtain, revealing the scene inside.
An iron cage wrapped in a thick black curtain.
Wit pointed his magic staff, an invisible Mage’s Hand appeared in mid-air, lifting the black curtain to reveal the ’cargo’ inside.
This was a Dragon Beast, covered in white scales, hornless forehead, short and stout limbs, a pair of small Dragon Wings on its back, with a body length barely reaching three ters.
To be precise, this was a juvenile White Dragon Beast.
Dragon Beasts, born from Dragon Eggs but unable to inherit the Dragon’s Legacy due to not awakening their true na, thus becoming dragon-shaped beasts.
Generally, Dragon Beasts born in the Five-colored Dragon Clan often ended up poorly. Cruel Evil Dragon Mothers might directly kill or even eat the Dragon Beasts, while more moderate ones might abandon the newly born Dragon Beasts in the wild to fend for themselves. In contrast, unusual Evil Dragon Mothers might raise the newborn Dragon Beasts until they could survive on their own before driving them out of the Dragon Nest.
In comparison, Dragon Beasts born in the tal Dragon Clan received much better treatnt. tal Dragon Mothers would often send such Dragon Beasts to Dragon Island, where there were large safe zones specifically for tal Dragon Beasts, with ample food ensuring a carefree life, generally allowing tal Dragon Beasts to grow to adulthood without incident.
The White Dragon Beast imprisoned in the enchanted iron cage was captured in the Northern Icefield.
It wasn’t caught by the Higlind family; rather, it was captured by a slave capture team that had previously cooperated with the Higlind family on several occasions.
Coincidentally, the slaves transported by this slave capture team were exactly the batch the Higlind family intended to purchase. So when the latter saw a White Dragon Beast also captured by the team, they decided to buy it along with the transported slaves.
And for what purpose?
Naturally, to send both to the Dragon Nest along with the slaves.
Since the last batch of slaves sent achieved excellent results and was well-received by the master, Roy kept this in mind.
However, due to the war and the difficulty in acquiring high-quality slaves, the second batch was delayed.
Seeing the White Dragon Beast sleeping peacefully, Wit displayed a slight smile.
"Co on, take to see those slaves."
